I saw some people criticizing Silverborn for how Morrigan reacts to Jupiter's perceived betrayal and tbh I think it's perfectly in-character. Morrigan is a traumatized thirteen year old.

Though it's been years since she's been in the Crow household, I think that fear that things are secretly too good to be true is something that sticks with her. There's always that little voice that worries the people she cares about will turn on her. It makes Morrigan react really strongly to perceived betrayal of any sort.

Additionally, I think it makes sense that Morrigan feels strong emotions about her mother and her family since she never knew her. The one thing she has from her mother is her dearly beloved Emmett. Morrigan already is shown having jealousy towards Hawthorne or towards her bothers because they have something she does not. Morrigan wants a "real" family that cares about her, because the Crows weren't it. Deep down Morrigan DOES see Jupiter as her family, but believing he kept her away from her mother's family for his own selfish reasons is something I think is perfectly understandable for her to have an extreme reaction to.

I do hope future books focus a bit less on a major plot point being "Jupiter and Mog can't communicate properly to save their lives", though.
