Inhaling the scent of alcohol and various forms of cigarettes was going to drive you mad. “This party fucking sucks.” Was the only thing that crossed your mind that night, and you were one hundred percent correct. A black strap mini dress hung dangerously across your thighs, you really thought you could attract some form of attention tonight, and you did. Except he wasn’t someone you wanted to.

“The devil himself.” You scoffed, as you turned to face the man in front of you. He hasn’t changed. Not one bit. And you hated it. You hated it so fucking much. “Y/N” he stood there unblinking, his mouth twisting into a spiteful grimace.

“Didn’t expect to see you here.”

“Ditto.”

He started walking towards you, and you flinched, purely out of instinct, how could you not? He has hurt you too much over the course of your time together. He studied you, eyebrows raising.

“You look…absolutely disgusting.” You were surprised, this was tame compared to some things that he’s said to you before. You looked at him and he mistook it for something else. He smirked, but his eyes held no love. “I know you want me back. Just admit it, you’re a hoe but you won’t admit it.” Cheeks reddening, you clenched your teeth. “I would never want you back Yeonjun. You thought you could manipulate me? I thought you were everything I ever could’ve wanted. But no, now everyday i relive your affairs with almost everything in a dress. My co worker, my best friend, even my sister. You can’t keep your cock in your pants, can you? You find an excuse to fuck every girl you come across. You find it fun? Don’t you? Toying with girls just to boost your own ego, it’s pathetic.” Breathless, you realized how much you hated him. It was worse than hate. You wanted him dead. Yeonjun stood there, silent. “I don’t know about you,” you said quietly, “but i think we’re done here. So I suggest you leave before I crack.” Yeonjun didn’t like it, but he was fucking terrified. He never heard you speak with such venom in your voice. Stumbling, he backed out of the room, casting panicked glances back towards you.

3 months later…

Peace again. You feel fulfilled, as if his death relieved you of every ounce of hurt you ever received, and it did. Wiping blood off of your hands, you walked towards the crime scene. Nobody would ever know. Because nobody would find the body.

you stopped scrolling and looked up to see your boyfriend sitting on the edge of the bed. "what the fuck?"

he laughed, "what? don't tell me you didn't like that one!"

beomgyu has been doing this all day long. he finds cheesy pickup lines, then uses them on you until he gets a "good reaction", and then stops.

for like an hour before catching you off-guard again.

but you have to admit (to yourself, not him or else he wouldn't let you live it down) that it was kinda fun. it's his way of showing you he's still as interested in your relationship as he was when you first started dating, and it makes you feel good inside.

beomgyu pulled his phone out of his pocket, clicking around, before he stifled a laugh and glanced back up.

"are you a pinata? because i need a blindfold before i hit."

....your mouth opened a bit in shock, and he covered his mouth to stop his faint laughter. it lowkey took you a second to think about a proper response, but then you found one.

"DID YOU JUST BASICALLY CALL ME UGLY WITH A PICKUP LINE WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU NEED A BLINDFOLD BEFORE YOU HIT? HUH, BEOMGYU?" (okay soo this might be a kink thing i'm YOUNG idk mannn-)

he let out a loud, hysterical laugh before wiping his eyes due to them tearing up. you on the other hand were not laughing, a bit amused, but keeping up your cold-angry-girlfriend expression.

beomgyu moved closer to you, now sitting on your left. he put his hand ontop of yours and leaned in to kiss your forehead lightly. "of course not, (yn). i love you so much! i'm just messing with you."

seeing his demeanor change to a kinder, sweeter one honestly made you melt. that was how he acted when you two first began dating.

but honestly, you liked him better once the two of you got comfortable in your relationship.

he's goofy, annoyingly cute, and an all-around good guy. that's the beomgyu you love.

you sighed, resting your head on his shoulder.

and you two sat like that for a good four minutes.

a nice, quiet, peaceful four minutes.

"are you a parking ticket? because i picked you up off the streets and i can't afford to pay you."
