Two idiots decided that they weren't going anywhere in life and thought they should go to college to get ahead. The first goes in to see the counselor, who tells him to take Math, History, and Logic. 

"What's Logic?" the first idiot asks.

The professor answers by saying, "Let me give you an example."

"Do you own a weedeater?"

"I sure do."

"Then I can assume, using logic, that you have a yard," replied the professor.

"That's real good!"

The professor continues, "Logic will also tell me that since you have a yard, you also own a house."

Impressed, "Amazin!"

"And since you own a house, logic dictates that you have a wife."

"That's Betty Mae! This is incredible!" The idoit is obviously catching on.

"Finally, since you have a wife, logically I can assume that you are heterosexual," said the professor.

"You're absolutely right! Why that's the most fascinatin' thing I ever heard! I can't wait to take that logic class!!"

The idiot, proud of the new world opening up to him, walks back into the hallway, where his friend is still waiting.

"So what classes are ya takin'?" asks the friend.

"Math, History, and Logic!" he replies.

"What in tarnation is logic???" asked his friend.

"Let me give you an example. Do ya own a weedeater?" he asked.

"No," his friend replied.

"Gay."

Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. That one about the witch who would marry anyone who could get her house key from her cat and it’s revealed she IS the cat after the narrator befriends the cat.

this could get me cancelled but here’s my hot take of the day:

i don’t think everything should be for everyone. that’s why there are things called demographics— some things are more suited for different people. the idea that everything has to be ‘one size fits all’ or there has to be a use for an item for everyone is (in my opinion) kind of silly. there are household items that are made to assist those who are disabled. there are clothes that are more suited for a certain body type. it’s going to be inevitable.

the same thing could be said for fan-fiction. i see a lot of people berate writers for only writing for fem!reader and i think that people have to remember that fan-fiction is written by individuals for the internet for free. it isn’t going to be perfect, nothing is, but that doesn’t mean that you should bully an author into writing for male!reader or gn!reader either.

a lot of authors write because they enjoy it. a lot of the time they write because it relates to them and they want to share it with the world because they think that the work they’re producing is worth it. and a lot of the time, it is. if you want to see more diversity in fan-fiction, it’s never too late to start writing yourself. a lot of writers would write different readers if you ask nicely. a lot of them are still trying to learn.

tl;dr: not everything has to be for everyone. don’t bully people into writing things to fit your liking :))

The wife is the first to break the silence. “So this is awkward.”

Her husband scratches his head. “That’s putting it mildly.” He flounders for something else to say. Of everything he’d expected to go wrong tonight, this isn’t one of them.

“Well, ah, we can’t both be here,” she says eventually, when it becomes clear he isn’t going to say anything more.

He scowls. “I got here first.”

She just raises an eyebrow. “I’m your wife.”

He raises his eyes heavenward and wonders why he didn’t choose the river like he’d wanted to. “Right.” He sighs and picks up his body. “See you at home then.”

She blows him a kiss. “I love you.” The body at her feet belongs to the asshole neighbour who killed her husband’s favourite lemon tree.

He gives her a rueful yet adoring grin over the body of her creepy boss. “I love you too.”

The DM sighed. “Is that really what you’re going with? ‘The American’? That’s your species?”

The kid across the table grinned. “It was either that or Karen.”

“Same thing,” the DMA mumbled before saying, louder this time. “How many guns?”

“Yes.”

“You have my sword” said the Ranger. “And my Bow” said the elf. “And my axe” said the dwarf. “And all of my guns” said the American.
