omg yay i actually get to talk about my fics <3

19: i have literally so much i could say here but i'll just pick one. Asa, Aketora, and Raphael starring in World's Worst Love Triangle. what doesn't technically count as a love triangle but certainly nightmare blunt rotation. i love you Asa. haunter of the narrative. shows up only in flashbacks and even then only a couple times. still somehow is the center of Quarantine and a major axis of why Marelius (aka Kraang Prime) is The Way He Is. even the other Kraang are weirded out by his behavior specifically towards Asa and Raph.

20: i desperately wish i could just beam the rest of Quarantine onto a google doc and upload it already, but that is sadly not how it works. other than the obvious answer for what i'd finish first if i could, i really REALLY want to write my Bad Future Timeline because i feel i could do it right, y'know. "came back wrong" except i came back exactly the same and all of you are unrecognizably different. how long is seven years, really?

please please PLEASE ask me if you have any more questions/wanna talk about my fics. please. i'm literally begging someone to let me explain my fics, aus, & ideas.

Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.

I’m not here to call anybody out, it’s been in multiple fics, I’m not vague posting. This is just a psa. 👍🏻

Shout-out to disabled people who aren’t “inspirational”, who are unemployed or stuck with a job they don’t like, who didn’t do well academically and/or had to drop out of school, who aren’t in a position to live and take care of themselves independently even if they would like to, who don’t “just get on with things without complaining”, whose lives didn’t work out in the way they were hoping for, who haven’t “overcome” their disability in the way that society tells us we’re supposed to. You exist, you’re worthwhile and you matter.

What could've been...

The brothers were called to an ancient temple with mystic paintings, showing each different versions of those who gaze upon them.

Leo got separated from the group and found a painting with a version of himself he did not want to see, what he could've become if his brothers hadn't been able to rescue him from the prison dimension.

He doesnt mention it to his brothers on their way out.

What really kills me about the Rottmnt movie is that Leo isn't the ONLY self-sacrificial idiot. They ALL ARE. Raph taking the hit for Leo and giving him the escape pod, Donnie literally shielding Mikey with his body, Mikey creating a portal knowing it might kill him- they all knew they might die in these situations but did it anyway to protect/save their brother/brothers.

They make me PHYSICALLY ILL

One thing I hate Abt white people writing fictional racism is that they're always like "oh they don't hate them cause the color of their skin! They hate them for [insert other reason]" because it's always like...yeah that's what racism is? It's not JUST Abt the color of the skin, although that plays a big part. Someone could be all white and still have black features and people would be racist. It's not JUST about skin color, or assuming that [insert character] is a troublemaker. It's also assuming that they're dirty, uncivilized, promiscuous, etc. white people needs listen to POC more because WHAT

The fact that some people hc that Raph would be a cop because of the episode where he got racially profiled feels racist. Like idk guys maybe you should think about this a bit more thoroughly and also read anything by a Black person on the subject. Just a thought.
