i think a thing I'm struggling to articulate about the whole knight gendering thing is like... yes, there's the standard "ignoring they/it to go with he/him" that also affects kris and other nonbinary characters. but with the knight in particular, there's a particular level of viciousness that seems to have arisen specifically focused around the fact the most likely knight candidate is a woman.

the roaring fraud stuff/other attempts to present it as uncool, the asgore truck meme, chester (literally "we invented a man to be the knight instead of Dess'"), the people who will take any chance to intrude with papyrus knight as a "joke", the burgerpants/roaring knight stuff... everything is like, insulting the knight, gendering it as male, or just outright misogyny.

when it's all this Pervasive, it's hard to not feel like the specific use of he/him for the knight is part of this complex of misogyny, beyond just the standard transphobic "neutral pronouns don't count"

Very endeared by how Noelle shares food items with Kris... even if this particular one hasn't happened yet in game
