DallasCon 2016: My photo op was too quick, and I had to sharpie my glasses into sunglasses to cover squinty eyes, but there was a big hug, an expectant glance when I didn’t hand over the 2 year chip immediately (and an enormous smile and a “yeah!?” when I said I was giving it to him later), and a “so good to see you again!” For the pose, I said, “You know how you hug Jensen with your whole body?” And he immediately knew what I was talking about! His pants are pretty dark, but if you can spot his shoe in the bottom right corner, you can see his leg hiked up around me.

My autograph experience this year was so precious to me. There are some details I will keep private, but he was really excited to get my 2 year sobriety chip! He said he keeps them all (“No I seriously have all of them!”) and looks forward to them every year. He said he is so, so proud of me, and thinks I’m “really fuckin cool!” He asked me what was new with me, so I handed him a letter about that, then squatted down to be more at his eye-level where he sat, took both of his hands, and just encouraged him as best as I could. I was last in line, so it was pretty late and I knew he was tired and had probably just heard a lot of really heavy stories. I thanked him for giving so much of himself even though I know it’s hard and days like these are exhausting physically and emotionally. I told him he is doing so much good, and to remember that he is strong, he is enough, and that he doesn’t walk alone. I wanted to give as much positivity as I possibly could in my short moment at the table.

Then he took a quick glance at the volunteers and said, “I’m gonna come around.” There were a lot of big hugs and I took another moment to encourage him to stay strong and take good care of himself. He’s truly one of the warmest souls I’ve ever met.

“Love you more than you know.” Me you too, Jared.

P.S. I also told him I’ve adopted him as my honorary big brother. He laughed and said, “well fine, but you have to answer to ME now!” ..so I took it back.

So guys....I just had super sad thought as to how supernatural should end. I think the very very last episode. I should be just Cas, standing in front of two headstones that read Dean Winchester 1979 - 2050. Sam Winchester 1983 - 2040. He should have a fresh baked pie and and book with him. All of the Seasons was just him telling the story of the brothers through his prospective for the 50th time. He misses the boys so much he wants to talk to them about all the good and bad times they had together. He lays down the pie and the book and tears fall from his face. "Don't cry no more." He says to himself before he disappears and the it shows a close up of the headstones.

I just hurt myself.
