The Black Sacrament - A Death Curse
Tumblr media
So this is my first time creating a spell or curse or anything, and really, it’s simply a real-world translation of the Black Sacrament from The Elder Scrolls games. Game info can be found in my info post re: the Black Sacrament and the Night Mother.
I recommend already having a working relationship with the Night Mother before using this curse, but it is not required.
Items needed:
Candles, white or black
A human skull — doesn’t have to be real, it can be plastic, clay, even a printed picture
A heart — preferably an animal heart, but plastic or paper printout would also work
Bones — human or animal bones would be ideal, but again, plastic, clay, paper, etc are acceptable
Flesh — meat, preferably raw
A dagger — a plastic dagger is acceptable, as is a kitchen knife
Nightshade — any flower from the Nightshade family is acceptable, including potato and tomato flowers. IF YOU USE A TOXIC TYPE OF NIGHTSHADE, MAKE SURE TO TAKE THE APPROPRIATE PRECAUTIONS WHEN HANDLING IT.
Coins
Optional Items:
Picture of the target — if you don’t have a picture, write out their name or username (be sure to draw two eyes on the paper as well)
One white stone
One black stone
Step 1: Assemble the effigy with the skull, heart, bones, and flesh. Make it as close to human-shaped as possible.
Step 2: Surround the effigy with candles (and light said candles)
Step 3: Rub the dagger with the Nightshade
Step 4: Stab the effigy repeatedly while saying the following:
“Sweet Mother, sweet Mother, send Your child unto me, for the sins of the unworthy must be baptized in blood and fear.”
Repeat step 4 as necessary, until you feel like you have the Night Mother’s ear.
Step 5: Place the coins inside the circle of candles and say the name (or username) of the person you wish to die, as well as their location if you know it.
Step 6 (optional): Place the picture of the target inside the circle, and set the stones over each of the person’s eyes
Step 7: Thank the Night Mother for accepting your contract
Step 8: Blow out the candles
Step 9: Bury the effigy, dagger, flower, and coins
Step 10 (optional): Give the stones to the target
** This curse is NOT intended to be broken, so be 100% sure you want it done before casting. IF you change your mind after casting you can do the following to attempt to break it, but there are no guarantees that it will work **
Take back the stones, if you gave them to the target. Dig up the effigy, dagger, flower, and coins. Apologize to the Night Mother for breaking the contract. Burn the effigy and flowers, give the coins away (ideally to a homeless person) and wash the dagger with chamomile and place it in a safe location.
Note that I take NO responsibility for anything that happens as a result of this curse. If you use this curse and the person you used it against dies, that is NOT my responsibility.
Also, I haven’t used this curse, so if anyone does, please let me know the results, so I can know if it works or not.

The Black Sacrament and the Night Mother
There is no clear story of the origins of the Night Mother, but the one constant is that She exists as a being who passes on contracts to the Dark Brotherhood.
Some state that She is the Daedric Lord Mephala, patron of the Morag Tong, the guild of assassins in Morrowind, which the Dark Brotherhood parted from in the second era. Others hold that She is a former Thieves Guild member who parted with that guild over her preference for murder. The final theory is that She was a Dunmer woman, a high-ranking member of the Morag Tong, who bore five children of Sithis and murdered them in His name, resulting in her own murder at the hands of the townsfolk and transformation into the spirit we know as the Night Mother.
The Night Mother only speaks to the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, the one She chooses to hear Her voice and relay Her messages. Those messages being the location and identity of those who have performed the Black Sacrament in order to contract the murder of an individual.
The Black Sacrament is a relatively simple ceremony, however dark it may be. It involves forming an effigy of the person you wish to send to the Void out of human remains – skull, heart, bones, and flesh. Using a dagger rubbed with Nightshade, stab the effigy repeatedly while saying, “Sweet Mother, sweet Mother, send Your child unto me, for the sins of the unworthy must be baptized in blood and fear.”
This ceremony is heard by the Night Mother, and She sends a member of the Dark Brotherhood to accept the contract.

Witch on a budget.
With all my expenses; rent, electricity, kitten food (latest addition); I need to start thinking of ways to fulfill my witchy needs without breaking the bank.
I honestly sound like a salesperson, but here is a list of the niftiest tips I have found on tumblr and the web :
Baby Powder - Beauty, innocence, youth and fertility.
Monopoly Money - Wealth and prosperity.
Googly Eyes - Divination and finding lost things.
Needle and thread - Binding, poppet magic and sewing sigils into clothing items.
Baking Soda - cleansing, protection and can basically the same properties and uses salt has. (Not representing Earth and salt is still the most powerful, but this works in an unlikely emergency.)
Tea bags - Can basically be used for anything since you get all those fancy tea’s that you can use for their correspondences.
Soap - cleansing (obviously), curse removal, healing and different scents to match the correspondences.
Butter - all kitchen witchcraft, nurturing, protective and to attract wealth.
Chocolate - love, happiness, friendship, romance and intimacy. Milk chocolate being more innocent and dark chocolate being more sexual. Consumed to increase power.
Banana - safe travels when travelling long distance and improving sexual stamina.
Pasta - protection, financial creativity and improving communications.
Cotton - harvest, good luck, cleansing, beauty, protection and rain.
Duct tape - binding and banishing.
Crayons - colour magic, sigils and creativity.
Bath salts - cleansing, pain/stress relief, peace, love, purification and different scents for their correspondences.
Makeup/Toiletries - protection, glamour magic, confidence and beauty.
Eggs/egg shells - fertility, represents the Goddess, warding, protection and kitchen witchcraft staple.
Envelopes - communication, assists when doing magic for someone else and protection when travelling long distance.
Tin foil - protection, binding and reflection.
Pennies - luck, wealth and prosperity.
Toothpaste - cleansing, replacement for mint and preventing gossip.
Glue - binding, cursing, sealing and prevention of loss.
Chili powder - lust, revenge magic, hexes, bad luck and curses.
Toothpicks - poppet magic, cursing, pain and revenge.
Bells - warding, protection and cleansing.
All of these can be used in so many ways, in potions or directly with intent. Just be super creative and find what works for you.

Is it wrong to hate some of the gods you're a devotee of when they don't acknowledge your prayers? Especially in a time of urgency? A time where their help matters the most?

I have not changed a goddang thing. I waited for the end and the end never came. I do not plan on changing my status quo now. either things will go on as they always have and in six months time I’ll be here watching staff announce that anyone with over 1000 followers are being monitored or I will have been physically deleted from this wonderful stupid fucking website and either way I’m gonna go out posting pictures of my cat

Winter Solstice Ritual
Tumblr media
Winter Solstice Ritual, right of passage for the new year.
Items you will need, (you may exchange items that represent the idea being conveyed in the ritual):
White candles (snow, purity, newness, winter)
Red candles (passion, the season, new love)
Blue candles (compassion, mercy, ice, strength)
A bowl of water
Flower petals that represent you as a person (this is always different for each witch or sorcerer, some even use wood chips)
Stones, statues, drawings that represent the winter ❄️
Salt
Next, place them in a pattern around the bowl of water that should be in the center and accessible to you. This pattern will represent a snow flake.
Use the salt to connect each item, giving it a snow flake appearance.
Incantation for the solstice-
“With this alter I do thee invoke the Most High God, his blessings and rebirth into the new year. Cleansing all that has been done over the past year.
Enchanted this water with strength, mercy, magick, and protection as I walk into the Light.”
Dip your main pointer finger into the water and place a drop on your forehead and all those present. This drop of water is a major blessing for the new year.
“May we walk in the Light, serving the Light, May all we touch bring abundance, wealth and health. As above so below so mote it be!”

The Sabbat Song
Sleep is waking, waking sleep we ride the broom across the deep, fair is foul and foul is fair by bee and cat, by hound and hare, the living die and the dying live we turn the shears and the sieve, light is darkness, darkness light to farers through the mystic night, up is down and down is up to seekers of the cauldron-cup, lords are churls and churls are lords we leap across the bridge of swords, birth is death and death is birth we tread the paths beneath the earth, Bride is Hag and Hag is Bride Between the times we rage and ride, day is night and night is day for farers on the witching way.

Hey! I saw your reblog on my post and I scrolled down a little on your blog and saw your post about worshipping daedra, I personally don't worship them but I'm curious- do you consider them real? Why do you worship them?
I do indeed consider them real! I believe that basically everything exists due to multiple universes aka multiverse theory! It ties in heavily with me being fictionkin as well, since that's partly what drew me to them. Otherkinity in general plays a heavy role in my spirituality. As for why I worship them: I'd been feeling a disconnect from the pantheon I've worked with for the longest time, that pantheon brinf the kemetic pantheon, and i did some readings for myself and it seemed like they were trying to get me to change up my path and open myself up to new pantheons, but nothing ever felt wholly correct. At least, not until I got into the elder scrolls. I actually started out with TES Paganism by Worshipping Akatosh, which is a whole other post in itself, and i slowly opened up to daedra worship. When i pray to them, I usually, more often than not, find that they answered them. I wasn't able to get a decent sleep until I started praying to Vaermina, and last month, I did a ritual with Jyggalag and after that, I've found that I've been a lot better at speaking my mind and thinking before I act. Basically, nothing really felt right until I found the tes pantheons, I honor them as i would any other deities, and they respond to my prayers.
I hope this answered your questions! I'm always down to talk about my path
