Senbamachiya Market | Retail

At the heart of Senbamachi sits a quaint quartet of machiya—traditional Japanese townhouses—that continue to serve their long-standing function of housing small retail shops in the front and family homes in the back and upstairs. Each of the machiya is home to a different local business, catering primarily to tourists. Along the main street you will find a massage studio, ikebana flower shop, and souvenir shop. And around back, tucked behind the alley, is an adventure gear outfitter with snowboards and skis to get you Mt. Komorebi-ready. 

The four machiyas are all 1-2 bedrooms, and each has at least one washitsu (aka tatami room) with—fingers crossed—auspiciously arranged tatami…? To make the lot slightly easier to load, the second floor is unfurnished for all but the ikebana shop. I have had soooo much fun researching, exploring, learning about, and building machiya and Japanese architecture in general. I did my best but of course apologize if I got anything wrong!

Lot Type: Retail (with items already tagged for sale and everything!); it can also function as a Spa, but you can also simply hire a massage therapist with it set as a Retail lot. You can also change it to Residential if you want your sims to live here without bothering with the shops.

Location: 5-3-1 Shinrinyoku, Mt. Komorebi (sorry, Akiyamas!) 

I’ve used from all packs freely here—naturally, it’s very heavy on Snowy Escape but you’ll need Spa Day for the massage studio

Equestrian lookbook🐎

No Unicorn Sparkles*

*except they still show up in CAS because I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove them there, please help

As it says, this removes sparkles from unicorns in-game only. Rest assured, despite what the CAS shows you, they are indeed sparkle-less in your game. If you can figure out how to remove them from CAS as well please let me know!

This is a small edit I created. I tend to use it on every draft horse I make, so I thought, why not share it? 😊

You can find the horn in the Horn category. It's fully paintable and works well with all sliders. However, just a quick heads-up: some bridles might not fit perfectly and could clip around the nose area.

I also recommend using the no unicorn sparkles mod from objuct to hide the sparkles in game.

Around the Sims 4 | Wound care

Ooops, it seems I have forgotten to “advertise” about that one!

Because summer often means all kind of minor wounds for me, my Sims had to fill their first aid box with my new wound care clutter, including plaster for finger (when you cut your index at cutting tomatoes) or band for the summer sprain…

It will be released on Around the Sims 4 the 30th of August. It’s alreadu available in early access for Patreons.
