every day i think about that tweet that's like "i interact with people online like i'm in line at the grocery store but most of you interact like you're experiencing road rage at all times."

like my problem is genuinely that when i comment on something i mean it in 100% good faith as if we're having a conversation. and in a conversation if a person disagrees they might say "oh" and move on OR they might say "I disagree [elaboration as to why]" and I'd say "oh! you're right! I didn't think of it that way, thank you!"

but instead people read it like i've made a declaration as a state authority and they respond as if they want to draw and quarter me in the street
