Homeless LGBT family in need of help!!!

Hey again.

July was a very rough month for us and we really need help from our community right now. My family is still homeless and, between the constant heat, us being sick most of the month, and an overall lack of food, we have not been doing well. I cannot be without shelter right now because the heat is making me sicker and I need the means to hook up my medical equipment every night.

I am asking who I can right now for help covering food, temporary shelter, and important bills while I try and find work. I have some interviews this month but that can get easily ruined if I don't have the time and resources to prepare. Any help in any amount is greatly appreciated.

Saturday, August 2nd: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to pay my rent, which is now overdue!!!

I apologise for asking for help again, but as most of you are already aware from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot recently to make ends meet due to my rent arrears and outstanding debt, which keeps building up every month as I am unable to clear it.

To be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

I desperately need that kindness again, as the welfare I received last month wasn't enough to cover all my bills and rent, and I received this letter today stating that I am £143.06 in rent arrears.

One of the strangest and most irksome things about the increasing recognition of rising fascist movements across Europe and America by even the most politically illiterate of neoliberals is that they've started to fantasize about revolutions, but are also too racist and misinformed to actually recognize which revolutionary movements actively defeated imperialist and capitalist forces. This leads to a spectrum of odd takes that range from "We need to learn from the French Revolution" (it is the most well-known historical revolution in pop culture, so you kinda get why it's appropriated to fit whatever ideology a person identifies with) to "I wish the evil US was defeated by a coalition of good nations like Ireland and the Nordic countries and Canada!" (you should have your right to make or respond to posts restricted for at least a year). Of course, Russia, China, Cuba and so on are mysteriously absent from these discussions of revolutions that fought against Western-backed imperialist aggression. Freedom is something that only white people west of Eurasia can secrete, and things have only gotten bad because they haven't been oozing it hard enough lately. I'm sure that trying to frame mildly underdiscussed nations in the imperial core as the teats from which you can keep milking the idea of Western civilization shall surely produce the antidote to fascism.

To those who care about the Gaza Strip and its people...

To anyone who thinks that no Palestinian lives have been saved... I don't think that's true. For example, think about the massive amount of fundraising campaigns that have tangibly helped, even with the aid embargo in Israel, that have tangibly helped Palestinians. We've gained support as a result of this activity. So, to say, "No Palestinian lives have been saved," again, that's not true. That's not true.

But secondly, even if that were true, would you blame yourself and the people for not standing up for you and for not speaking out against things that were already wrong because they weren't effective enough, instead of just offering better ways to do it? Should something be done or not?
