It means the world that somone would think that highly of my fic 😢💓

all i want to do is write that one fic that takes people’s breath away and kinda lingers in the back of their minds. i want to write something that makes people want to make art and play with my versions of characters or in the universe i created. i want to be able to create worlds that feel real enough to walk into and write lines that stick with people until they forget where exactly they heard it because it lives in their bones now.

These are the dresses Sakura wore in chapter 1 and chapter 3 of Mokosh. 

I said I had a sketch book full of her dresses, I was not kidding  :)

Like Changing Seasons Part 1: Mokosh - A Syaosaku Royal AU

Mokosh [Mokoš,Мокошь,Mokosz]; a Slavic goddess, protector of women’s work and women’s destiny. She watches over spinning and weaving, shearing of sheep, and protects women in childbirth. She is typically assosiated with spring. 

After 2 years since its beginning the war between the Wave Kingdom and the Li Empire is in its last phases. As the Northern Armies approach closer to the sunny coasts of the Clow Kingdom its Princess, Sakura of House Kinomoto is given an ultimatum; oppose the Empire and watch her country and House be devour by a war that is not theirs or marry the Emperor, Xiao Lang of House Li, the Thunder Wolf and if the stories are to be believed the most ruthless ruler that has ever been.

Sooo…I have been writing my syaosaku medieval/slavic/a little bit got inspired AU for some time now. It is not yet close to being finished (despite being almost totally planned out, to be fair it is quite massive) but you can thank my Uni for that one.

Despite that I wanted to give you all a little sneak peak of sorts, mostly because i enjoy drawing this AU so much that I doodle almost evey lecture and by now have like 20 different dresses for Sakura.

(Also I will welcome anyone who wants to beta read it with all the love I have in me…and cookies, but mostly love.)

I meant to post it sooner and with a fanfic attached but this past few weeks had been hectic and the story grew from a drabble to a full on oneshot. I’ll post it on a later date though; once i am fully settled at my University.

Jon heard his soldiers as they passed the courtyard. They spoke quietly, but of enough volume for Jon to hear every word.

,,She truly looks like the Queen of the North”

Those were words of admiration, that he rarely heard from people of the North regarding his wife; their newly crowned Queen. So Jon smiled to himself and greeted the soldiers with a polite nod. They tensed at that, but greeted him with ,,My King” before standing back straight and not daring to say any word more. Jon almost chuckled at that; it was almost disturbing how people reacted to him now.

His attention was brought back to his wife. She was standing beside him in the middle of Winterfell's courtyard, watching as people buzzed in it. The blacksmiths worked their forges, mostly working on dragon glass and armor. The cooks and bakers stocked the grains and the maids appeared to be taking out the furs for cleaning. Knowing her, she was already making note of everything before her, making sure she knew as much as she could of those that were now her people.

And as Jon watched her he couldn't help but realize that the soldiers had spoken truly; his wife might have been a southerner, but right then and there she looked like North came alive.

Dany was clad in white. Her fur coat hung tightly around her curves, its bright color would be melting with the snow around them if not for the straps of dark brown in the material. Her hair was braided out of her face, flowing in silver curls down her back. Her skin was pale as always but in the northern cold her cheeks, ears and nose were drowned in a deep blush. She truly looked wonderful, and not for the first time since meeting her Jon wondered if he would ever behold a sight lovelier than her.

She turned around as if sensing his gaze on her. Her violet eyes met his and she smiled at him. For a moment Jon had forgotten himself; looking at her, not truly believing she was his. Dany furred her brows in question, the twinkle not leaving her eyes.

“Something the matter, dear?”

She asked, her voice holding a tint of amusement.

Jon knew he probably looked like a fool, staring at his own wife as if she was a blinding sun. He came to her in a single stride, bringing his cloak around her shoulders, pressing her smaller frame to his chest. Jon then leaned in, only to give her cheek a slightest of kisses. Dany giggled.

“Your nose is cold!”

She hissed under her breath, amusement in her voice growing rapidly. He nuzzled his nose onto her cheek at that. Her giggle grew and she tried to wiggle her way out of his hold, but he only pressed her harder into his embrace. He learned that the sound of her laughter was his favourite. He wanted to hear it as often as he could.

“I love you, my Queen.”

He whispered between the kisses, close to her ear. He kept his voice low; like he knew made her breath catch in her throat. She stopped wiggling at that. Instead, she turned to face him. Their gazes met. He was still amazed by the vibrant violet of her eyes, no matter how many times he had gazed into them. Daenerys smiled.

“And I love you, my King.”
