OOOH OLIVER!!!! HERE!!!! i found some berries in the woods and they’re edible! franklin told me. they’re super sweet too, they taste nothing like the mangoes! it’s like eating the berries from back home, but way better. here, i haven’t been sharing them with many people but you came with me so you can have the ones i pick! they get crushed in the mango basket, so there’s no reason to pack them up. i’ve just been eating them when i pick them! i don’t know many other places in the woods… i try not to go too far because i’m afraid jack might mistake me for a pig! id hate to have to run from him, he’s so fast.

oh i’ve been making a basket from the reeds to collect more fruits in! i think i’ve found some berries that are edible… maybe you can help me gather them! i’ve found a few fruits i don’t know the names of, but franklin would be able to tell, easy peasy. they’re sweet like ice cream! or however i remember ice cream tasting, it’s been so long. my favourite flavour was chocolate!!!! oh right, the basket! it’s almost done and i suppose i can always ask a choir member for their cloak to soften the rough edges. maybe asa won’t need his….

WOW! i thought the choir really valued these things? are you sure that you won’t get cold? hey maybe we can share it, i wouldn’t mind! i wouldn’t want you freezing either, that sounds like one of the worst ways to die. one time my granddad told me about this guy in his platoon who had his feet rotting off! i don’t think i’d want that to happen either. thanks again ronnie! i’ll get you those fruits soon. something really good for a present like this, i promise.

oh well i suppose i’m just getting used to people now! not blushing around them so often…. there’s some people i don’t think it’ll ever get better around. i don’t know why, but they just make my heart feel like it’s trying to come out of my throat or through my chest and i get all shaky and sometimes i cry- oh. maybe i should go to asa about that! i’m sure he’s sick of me though, so maybe i’ll just go for a walk through the woods.

i guess i missed finnick a whole lot. hugging people has always made me go red. my friend ronnie gets a lot more red around finnick!! maybe he’s just like me, although i don’t really meet many people who blush so easy or understand it at all.

OH and down by the ocean is perfect for shell collecting! and in the woods there’s a few caves and clearings, i’ll take you when jack and ralph aren’t being so whiny about the beast. i’m not quite sure why people think miike and i are romantically involved? the only time i remember seeing anyone romantic with one another were my two older brothers and their wives! one of my brothers isn’t married yet, but i don’t think miike and i are like them and their wives. plus, who would even be the wife? we’re both boys, and there has to be a wife!!!

THEYRE REALLY EASY!!!!! my dad taught me how to make them when i was a little boy! just be careful that it doesn’t snag on anything, you REALLY wouldnt want it to get caught on the top of one of those sharp spears!!!! oh and you can tie flowers into them and make really pretty bracelets, like the one i wear! who is this for by the way? i’ll ask franklin what kind of plants and flowers they’d like the most!!!!!

i bite people all the time! sometimes i just don’t know what to do with my mouth, it’s why i talk so much! feels weird to have nothing to do with my teeth and tongue, i don’t like the way that they feel when they’re not doing something. i used to bite my nails and cuticles, but my mother got REALLY mad at me for that back home! now i usually just bite peoples arms or something… it used to be franklin! now that he’s gone i don’t know who to bite. maybe miike will let me! OH OH i suggest biting! i think it makes people REALLY close! like a sense of trust,i suppose! it’s nice seeing you again henry. gosh, you look a little sullen. i’ll deliver you some fruit later!!!!!

Hello Wilbur… Gosh do you spend all of your time in the woods? You are quite hard to track down, you know. And on top of all of that, you seem to live in such horrendous conditions. Do you know of the beach? It is much cleaner than this filth…. Regardless, I was simply wondering if you’ve seen Franklin much recently? He seems to be avoiding me thankfully. It would be such a shame if he got off to somewhere dangerous. Have you spotted him? We have unfinished affairs with one another.

i haven’t seen franklin at all recently, jude! the last time i saw him, he looked unwell. a little sick maybe! i have seen the beach!!!! miike and i go down there quite a lot, i enjoy swimming and my dad taught me how to fish! it’s better than pork and the fruits, even if i’ve been getting lots of different ones! i really only share it with miike… oh! if i see frankie, i’ll let you know!!!! it’s a little strange that he isn’t here, but franklins SUUUUPER strong, i’m sure he’s alright!
