Tails who's suddenly hardcore crushing on, but also SUPER uneasy around, Sonic and Silver for reasons he can't seem to figure out (they traveled back in time together to, erm, meet Classic Tails).

What is your favorite tail moment?

out of everything in the series? hmm

assuming i can't answer nine's whole existence, i really liked his redemption in frontiers, tbh. it brought his character full circle in a really awesome way that didn't justify how he had been in the last few games but also acknowledged his strengths as a character rather than his faults

i said it back then and i'll say it now, frontiers is literally a frontier for the series. it's a new horizon, something bright to look onto and hope the same greatness we got then will follow into the future. it was such a great return to the characters we had come to love and showed their resolves and flaws, humanizing them in a way we kinda haven't seen before tbh, or at least objectively since the adventure games

idk i just really fuck with frontiers and i think anyone who hated it is a miserable bitch ass loser

What if Boom tails perfected his cloning machine for selfcest?

now this is an idea i can get behind! i wanna think it was sonic who convinced him into the project so he could have multiple tailses to himself but overtime that sight started making the real tails both jealous and curious enough to want it for himself too

it starts out with very normal curiosities like "i wonder if i'm a good kisser" and "how does it feel like to snuggle me?" but pretty quickly snowballs downhill into wanting to explore his own body. he finds touching and teasing his most sensitive spots is invigorating, watching himself squirm and whine is incredible and by god now he sees why sonic loves to toy with him before they go at it.

he'd become obsessed with studying his own workings- or at least that's what he'd claim he's doing to validate the amount of time and attention he's dedicating to this- and it just consumes him, he wants to know every little detail about his body and something about being able to do it to another version of himself flicks a switch inside that he never knew was there

maybe eventually the clones turn on him, they get tired of being the subjects of his lustful games and decide to make him the pet project instead. i can so see 3 or 4 of them on him at the same time, each using that very research to enact their vengeance. one is between his legs with their mouth, one has him in a kiss with tongue, and whoever is left is doing whatever they can to make him moan and beg. emphasis on the word pet by the way because i don't think they'd go back to how things were unless someone else stepped in lol [:< just imagine him leashed and collared, on all fours as another him demeans his humanity and intelligence the same way he had to them, treating him like lesser.

and in spite of the unorthodox nature of the arrangement i don't think tails would look for help or a way out; even though he's now the tested on, he's still getting results technically, and in a way that works him into excitement something fierce no less <3

Who is your favorite version of tails?

oooo, tough one!!! i've always loved tails and that interest in his character was only heightened by the release of sonic prime. i have a few that i'm particular towards but honestly i think i'd have to take the cold take route of saying nine.

as someone with bpd who grew up in a similarly traumatic situation as him i felt represented watching him onscreen, his attachment to sonic going from gradual to completely and hopelessly obsessive. waging an entire war just for his fp was insane actually /pos and i was lowkey rooting for him to win during the final season lmao. i know people give sonic prime a lot of shit and whether or not that's warranted is subjective but i do think if nothing else that nine was an amazingly written character and a wonderful example of mental illness and the dark side of codependency.

i doubt it will happen since they did kinda redeem him at the end (untrue he just stopped because his crush was literally dying heehee) but i would go so wild if they ever brought him back as like a villain in a new game or comic. i mean even just him being mentioned would make me excited actually haha
