I just remembered that fic and i reread what i wrote. And i absolutly love it. I will finish this. I have spend to many precious hours writing this damn thing.

So now i am acountable. I will post this is less then 48 hours. Mark my word tumblr void. Mark my word. (Also again if anyone could just check if my english makes sense that would be great)

Just a question i kinda want to throw into the horizon fandom void:

I wrote a fanfic about Avad griefing Ersa and getting a tattoo in the end. I had this idea way back in october (yes part of the horizon month i was super lazy while writibg this) and have finally found the spirit to finish it.

Is there anyone out there who would beta read it?

Normaly i do not care that much but this became important to me over the last few months.

Somewhat found the meta spoons which is to say S4′s Rayllum arc is pretty brilliant, imo, because

S4 is about Callum realizing that loving Rayla is going to Hurt, and keep Hurting him, and he Chooses to Accept that and Love her Anyway

In 4x01, we see that Callum is keeping a closed lid on some of his feelings, not wanting to admit that he loves her out loud to Ezran because he’s worried that she’ll never come back, and that he doesn’t even know if she’s alive. We see this in his initial reaction to her; he doesn’t want to talk, he doesn’t want to blow up at her (similarly to how he behaved in 2x03 following the Harrow fallout) but he also doesn’t want her to go. So they sit in the hurt all night, softened by the fact that she asks/offers to Stay arguably for the first time. 

Then over the course of the season, they fall into their old patterns, both good and bad. They’re good at working together, keeping the other person grounded. Rayla keeps him upright; Callum refuses to let her spiral when she starts to blame herself. 

When she offers to go off on her own or goes to hunt down Viren, repeating the exact same patterns that took her away from him in the first place. 

And I think the final moment isn’t him approving of Rayla’s self sacrificial tendencies - he’ll always prefer to have her home safe with him, or at least by her side - but him accepting that this is a part of her he cannot change or comfort away. He couldn’t two years ago and he can’t do it now, either. It’s very reminiscent of Ethari’s quote about Runaan in Bloodmoon Huntress:

Ethari: Each time Runaan leaves, it is with the weight of knowing that he may not come back. That to fulfil his duty, he may need to sacrifice everything. Himself, and all that we have here.

Rayla: But how can you forgive him for putting himself in such danger? How can you be okay with that?

Ethari: It hurts. Sometimes for much longer than I’d like. But there’s nothing to forgive him for. I’ve known since we met that this is Runaan’s calling, that nothing will deter him from fulfilling his duty. It is a necessary part of loving him — understanding his deep devotion to his people.

We know that Callum still loves her. We know that he wants to forgive her, and more than that, he wishes he could, easily. He wishes it could be easy. 

But as Ezran says earlier in the season, we have to hold the love and the pain in our hearts at the same time. Callum has been struggling to do so. He doesn’t want to be hurt again, and loving Rayla hurts. In S4, he hopes that maybe it won’t, if he can forgive her, if they’ve both changed. But it’s clear by 4x09 that he hasn’t, as he stares worriedly at the gates while the others just look happy, because he’s thinking of her:

Because she brings him down to his knees all over again.

Loving Rayla, until she chooses to break her own cycles, until she chooses to be more measured than Runaan, is always going to hurt him. He can’t change that for her. He can either accept her wholly, unconditionally, as she is right now (not who she may or may not become), or he can walk away.

Callum chooses to run to her

and to love her, pain and all, anyway.

Hello people on this app. Since no one cares about my opinons about this show irl you guys will get a nice review. SPOILERS AHEAD

First of all and most importantly: THE AVATAR REFFRENCES. I loved them soooo much. Guys watch out for them. I noticed 2.

Ok and now onto the "real" review. I love this show because it takes its time. In any other show i would have thought: hey 30 days till Viren dies so this means the 30 days will end this season right?

Wrong. The season takes place over what 4 days? If that. And that is great. Of course Callum and Rayla dont get together again. The trust is broken and needs to be rebuilt. So everything in this show takes time. It explains the story, explains the lore so you understand everything. Qnd it does that perfectly.

I also love how much i resent (bc hate is too strong a word) Viren and how conflicted i am about Claudia. That shows that both characters are verry well developt. Both have kind sites. And you see them every now and then. Claudias more then Virens. But their actions are unexcusable. Simple as that. And i also love that they now have a moral compass so to say with them. Terry really fits well to Claudia and i hope we will see more of both of them in the future. Also Viren like realy learns to respect him. Idk feels like Terry will break up with Claudia in the future starting her redemption arc.

I loooooooove everyones design. 10/10. No notes.

Nowww i come to a bit of stuff i found... meh.

First of all the excuse why the Dragon Queen wasn't realy present. Idk felt a bit... cheap. Also that Rayla just reappered. These are the main two story points where i think a bit more context would be great.

Bevore i forget the c plot of this season (the whole sun elve thing) was great. I liked it alot. It showed the struugle everybody has and you can see the tension. The trial is one of my favourite scenes just from the perspective of the problems everybody is facing.

And lastly my main "complaint" this season. Rayla. Girl i love you. With all my heart. But it just felt off. She reappred so randomly. And then she axts like everything is fine. I don't think anymore that she is an ilusion or something. The scene with the coins made it obvious but i think they should have showed her with more guilt. Like they showed Calum with hurt.

I think these are the main points for now. So.....

7.5/10 solid season pls get back to the 9 you were before. Seasin 5 when?

We don't know where Rayla is? Viren's fault.

We're most likey gonna get Rayllum angst and we have NO idea how things will end up? Viren's fault

Claudia is most likey gonna have a mental breakdown? Viren's freakin fault.

Anything bad happens to Soren? Viren's FAULT.

Failed your math test? Viren's fault.

No motivation? Viren's fault.

Your favorite character dies? Viren's fault.

Your parents are disappointed in you? Viren's fault.

I realy can't be happy can i?

ya’ll ever lay awake at night thinking about how arthur got TB, a disease which consumes you from the inside out and how he was haunted by his choices and the cost those choices had every day of his life and how, as the game progresses, the things that haunt him only multiply in number until his life seems like nothing but a pile of corpses and the blood he’s choking on isn’t his it’s actually the blood he’s spilt over the last 22 years?

Sooo it took me a few months but i finally finished Horizon forbidden west and after playing that game for good 2 months i have just the following thing to say:

I don't know why i saw so many negative takes. Like i didn't read them all because of spoilers. But i had a blast. Like a really really good time. And i am excited for the next entry in this series. I will probably write a long post to get it all out.

I know nobody cares about my opinon but well here it is. Its good. Not a masterpiece but good. No regrets

A fun thing I’ve noticed about the Horizon-Fandom-On-Tumblr is that pretty much everyone, of course, adores Aloy. Why wouldn’t you. She’s great.
