They were not at all concerned about the surroundings and busy in tearing off each other. Once they almost rolled up to my feet and I lost the minimum focus range.

During a routine morning outing at our city outskirts I and one of my friend saw this kingfisher hunting for fish in nearby wetland. Soon he got one catch and landed on a stone.

But being a vast area it took some time for us to reach over there. And got few shots of the sequence in which it kills the fish by striking on stone and then engulfing entire fish.

Hiran river at Gir National Park

A merged wide shot of beautiful Hiran river, one which comes in few routes of Gir National Park. Mostly it’s empty as there is dam just above it and so we see that one completely dry only.

But in a post monsoon trip in 2018 there was still water inside with beautiful reflections and lavish green forest.

We waited over there for few minutes and I took 7 vertical images with almost similar setting.…

Morning Prayers

One of the ritual of these people. This man was taking this clay bowl filled with some holy thing like incense sticks and moving to all stalls. And everyone was welcoming him and praying as if it’s some positive energy.

2015 was the year when I first visited this market at my hometown Jamnagar (with photography intention). Got the opportunity to get the permission from them and started exploring these refugee people who come to sell woolen clothes during winter. As it was a first year with them so I was not able to get connection with them. So couldn’t get their stories and cultural values and hence tried hands…

Indian Leopard

Indian Leopard in lavish green grass at Gir Interpretation Zone. This individual was playing a bit of hide and seek when he moved because grass was much tall and once inside we couldn’t see him.

Asiatic Lion Portrait

While exploring Devalia Safari Park during our Asiatic lion Photography tour of 2016, we saw this Lion sitting on side of road. And that place was a bit above road level. That helped to get this eye level shot of this majestic creature.

Asiatic Lioness at Devalia

During our wildlife trip 2016 at Devalia Safari Park, we saw this lioness facing opposite to us. And a bit alert. Might be she can hear or smell something which we were not able to. Liked how colour contrast was playing it’s role along the slightly blurred branches at top which helped in making natural frame.
