Once again asking for CRK OC advice

So I have finally got the concept of my main OC's to a place where I'm happy. Essentially, these OC's are called Echo Cookies; they are essentially Cookies either intentionally or unintentionally made from the materials left over from the Virtues' creation, like leftover dough or residual magic in the items used in their creation.

They were essentially advisors or wards (depending on whether they were made intentionally or not) of Virtues, and when they corrupted, they were the main force making sure mortal cookies weren't completely helpless against them. Once they were sealed and the Soul Jams purified, the Echo Cookies were tasked with guarding or just embodying the powers left over that neither corrupted nor purified Soul Jam could take.

Basically, during the duration I was creating these OC's, I realised that neither Ancient nor Beasts had the abilities that would have been associated with the Virtue. My primary example is that neither Pure Vanilla nor Shadow Milk are omniscient. So I got to thinking where those abilities would have gone after the Soul Jams were split, and boom, Echo Cookies.

The thing I need to figure out now is where they live. I've narrowed it down to three options. Secret areas around Earthbread, their own continent, such as Crispia and Beast-Yeast, or on another world (think of places like Wonderland, Neverland, and the Land of Oz).

Ok to further this post, I noticed something that could support my theory. Silent Salt is the only Beast who's Soul Jam completely changes colour post corruption;

It goes from white to purple. Coincidentally, white is the colour White Lily and Silent Salt share, and White Lily's Moonflower Queen outfit is primarily white. I think this could mean that at the end of the chapter, instead of having one Soul Jam of Freedom and one of Silence, there ends up being two Soul Jams of Solidarity.

In all honesty I think this is more likely considering White Lily's past with isolation;

The Ancient that was most self isolated, the one who didn't have a clear opinion on any of the other Ancients, is the one to find a full connection with her Beast. The one Beast who's light, Solidarity, requires other Cookies, requires their peers. The one that was forced into isolation because the other Beasts didn't fully understand that need for genuine connection, It's kind of poetic.

I am really hoping that, instead of Silent Salt being the villain of their chapters, it's White Lily being confronted with the idea that her Beast had more connections with their friends and actively did less objectively terrible things than she did, both as White Lily and Dark Enchantress. I want Silent Salts' crime to be revealed to be that they just didn't want to fight against their friends, leading to the other Beasts killing so many people because of their inaction.

I want the Silent Salts chapters to be themed around the concept of guilt. I want Silent Salt to be more like the ancients, to foil the way that White Lily is more like the Beasts.

I want Silent Salt to only want White Lily's Soul Jam because they see it as the only way to set themselves free from the title of Beast, of Dark Enchantress's control and of their own guilt.

I want the twist in Silent Salts chapters to be that they end up trading Soul Jams, White Lily becoming Silence, and Silent Salt becoming Freedom. I want them both to end up helping each other through their issues, and for Silent Salt to be the first Beast to not only want to make themselves better for their other half, but also fully join them.

But even if none of this happens, I will still love the story because, god damn it, I love knight characters. I just want Silent Salt.

"Candy Apple is in her early 20s, why are people so against shipping her with-"

Because she isn't. I don't know where this idea came from (lie, it came from TikTok), but the oldest she can be is 19. Not just because of this:

But because her character and her dynamic with Shadow Milk are supposed to be a dark reflection of Pure Vanilla's dynamic with the Brave Gang, specifically Custard III, and Strawberry Crepe Cookie. The admiration that those kids feel towards Pure Vanilla is twisted into Candy Apple's obsession with Shadow Milk Cookie.

She is supposed to be young because that is what and who she represents. It's the same with Black Sapphire; he's supposed to represent a twisted version of Pure Vanilla's dynamic with characters like Black Raisin Cookie (which should be obvious, considering they are both references to grapes).

The oldest Candy Apple can be is 19, which is very literally barely an adult. Even then, it makes sense for her to be younger to fit within the age range of the Brave Gang, which I'm assuming to be early to mid-teens at the time of Beast Yeast.

I know this isn't a problem here, or at the very least, I haven't seen it here, but I really needed to vent about this because, honestly, the amount of misinformation spread in this fandom would make Shadow Milk Cookie proud.

Feedback Time

Welcome to another episode of Lunas cashes out over her CRK OCs.

Finally finished Plum Crescent Cookie's design, mainly just a default sprite. I'll create more art of her once I've finished the other members of the group she's in. Speaking of which, this is Flower Fruit Cookie:

As you can see, I've been running through a fair number of designs for Flower Fruit Cookie, along with the colour palette for them. I want them to have a rose-themed colour palette since their flavour is rose Kulfi. For more context, they are also in the same group of characters as Plum Crescent Cookie, so I also want to keep the silhouettes and colour palette distinct.

So yeah, feedback would be appreciated.

Plum Crescent Cookie

Thank you to everyone who gave me feedback on her design. I finally finalised it, so now I can polish off her default sprite and start working on her Gacha art. Along with some other artworks I want to do with her. I won't go into her lore just yet since she is a part of a group of OC's I need to finish before I can go into her lore.

Anyway, my next OC is called Flower Fruit Cookie.

Ok so a bit about my OC Plum Crescent Cookie, and technically my other OC's too but specifically her, is that the storyline I'm making includes Beast redemption arcs. Cause I'm a sucker for redemption arcs, and part of the storyline is bringing in some villains from when the Beasts were Virtues. That's besides the point and I don't want to rant about that just yet.

The thing I want to rant about is that I am conflicted on how to handle Plum Crescent and Shadow Milk's dynamic (they have a sibling relationship) in terms of that redemption arc. Mainly because while I do have idea on how their dynamic would work, a feral part of me wants to base part of their relationship off of Claudia and Viren from the Dragon prince. Mainly to add more doomed to the doomed siblings. Along with adding a bit of guilt to the dynamic.

I am once again asking for feedback back on my OC Plum Crescent Cookie. Mainly of the colour pallet cause I am struggling. Though any feedback would be appreciated!! This is still a WIP, need to figure out the line art and all that, even though she does look fairly finished (aka I went overboard trying to figure out her colour pallet).

Ok so this was something I was think for my OC but general needs to be discussed more; what is Crescent Moon Magic?

As far as I know Cream Puff Cookie is the only one that mentions it and while I would accept the theory that it's just a different name for Dark Moon Magic but I don't see there being a point if it isn't going to be called out as the same magic?

Not only that but while Dark Moon Magic seems to have a corruption effect according to White Lily Cookie. Crescent Moon Magic is just referred to as dangerous. Again this could be them just being the same magic but I don't like that answer.

I think it actually might be the opposite to Coffee Magic, it being an ancient type of magic that draws on the balance of Dark and Light Moon Magic that requires the caster to be balanced and precise or risk dangerous consequences.

Idk I'm just spit balling here, I could be completely wrong and it's just as simple as it being the same as its the same as Dark Moon magic.

Doesn't matter though, I'm using this concept for my OC either way.

I am over 150 pulls on Eternal Sugars Gacha, I am nearly out of missions to do and the only reason I haven't done all the missions yet is because the remaining ones are time related. Through all of it I haven't spent a dime...

If it takes me this long to get Silent Salt though I am going to be spending money.

Honestly if you combine the theory that Silent Salt will be the first of the Beasts to want redemption with the canon fact that Dark Enchantress is planning to betray the Beasts it can end in a very funny scenario of the Beasts getting mad at Silent Salt only to come back later with their Soul Jam's stolen or something.

Especially with Shadow Milk cause that would mean that the Cookie of Deceit was tricked twice.
