The new Burger King commercials are proof that "talent" is no longer a prerequisite in the advertising industry...
...with simple lyrics, and an off key "singer", it sounds like The King didn't get his money's worth...
...if you came to me with that crap I'd laugh you right out of my office.
And while I'm at it, there's a certain air conditioning company in Charlotte (whose name suggests they can fix your AC in "One Hour") who does their own commercials...
...a father and son duo...
...who apparently think their potential customers are all booger eatin' mo-rons...
...because the dialogue they use in their spots sounds like it could've been written by Mrs. Henderson's third grade remedial reading class...
...and the voice-over work is a cringey, high school drama club quality total embarrassment.
I suppose the commercials are meant to be "funny"...
...but they AREN'T...
...and TRUST me, I'm an expert on "not funny".
I hate commercials as a rule, (though a few have been good for an occasional chuckle), but if you're thinking about writing and having you and your family star in your own commercials, here's a few points to ponder first:
1) completely reconsider your entire marketing approach
2) if you insist on doing it anyway, DON'T
3) your kids and grankids are not nearly as adorable or talented as you think they are, and it SHOWS.
Hire an ad agency, stop talking down to your clients, and, whether it's hamburgers or air conditioning, stick to what you know.

Putin needed ONE THING: an assurance that Ukraine would stay out of NATO. Mr. Biden and the other war hawks did everything but triple dog dare him to cross into the Donblas region. "Putin's a megolaminacle maniac at the end of his life", so let's put him under the international microscope and ratchet up the pressure, because he's only crazy enough to serve their purposes, until he actually melts some people.
