0510 au where they meet outside of Milgram somehow and so Shidou doesn't lowk think she should die (that much at least) and so Kotoko with all her walls thinks he wants to kill her in her sleep and he's just like "... I?? don't want to hurt you???" (that much) meanwhile she's just like "hmm this sounds like fake news". Then the au just continues like that with her genuinely believing he's out for blood and thinking every single thing he does is some ploy or plot. Meanwhile he's for some reason falling for her like the stupid man he is. We jump like six months, probably a bit longer. She wakes up next to him. She's just about to degrade herself for getting in The Enemies bed...

Then it hits her that he has not been plotting anything.

Annabel is our visionary, and she has a preminition of a fire turned building collapse while attending one of Duke's shows with her girlfriend Lenore. She originally plans to just grab Lenore and go but the person beside them, Eulalie, knows about the other visionaries and grabs her own group after overhearing them as well as yelling at others to get out. Lenore yells for Duke and he ends up telling everyone else working on the show he'll step out for a minute. Everyone is chastising and arguing with everyone for a few minutes before, well. Annabel is proven right.

Eulalie and Lenore bounce theories off of eachother. Annabel does her own research after hearing Eulalie explain that death always comes after people in a particular order and agrees. Most of our cast (minus more skeptical characters) ends up being somewhat well-informed since the beginning.

Death order in the original preminition + causes:

Will took on a job backstage where the fire started and burned. Ada and then Morella; rubble fell and trapped Ada, Morella went over to her just as she was dying and more rubble fell as she was trying to claw her out, this time getting her as well. Duke had just entered the tank of water and been locked in, a repeat of the sabotage we saw in his backstory. He was trapped in with no one willing to get close enough to the fire to help him.

Prospero got caught in a crowd crush event due to the emergency exits being built incorrectly and opening inwards, the fire caught up to them. Berenice ended up in the same crowd crush event as Prospero. Eulalie tried to warn her when she saw the crush started, but Berenice rushed forward.

Then Pluto and then Eulalie; Pluto listened to her warnings and decided to try and find a place to hide with her – they ended up beneath some chairs when they panicked upon seeing no better place. Rubble fell and killed Pluto near-instantly, and Eulalie was pinned in place and impaled by some of the framework. She was still alive and had a chance of survival, however small, until someone attempted to step over her and shoved it deeper into her, puncturing her lung.

Montresor was informed of another exit by Will beforehand via the bar. The bar had a way to access a basement which then could be used to access check in by the main entrance. However, the barkeep who had escaped using this route had knocked over a bottle of rubbing alcohol in his rush. The fire caught it and then caught up to him.

Lenore and Annabel managed to get to the main entrance. Upon seeing the rubble starting to gather by the main doors they both decided to try and hide underneath the check-in desk. Annabel and Lenore have a small conversation before Annabel notices smoke rising from the small gap in the trap door to the basement. Then the lights go out, then–

Well, she reckons an explosion, but it's hard to explain. However, she does admit to Lenore that she doesn't actually know who died first between them or who to protect when, and she does think it'll be a when, it eventually comes down to that.

My Journey to Escape the War in Gaza

My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.

The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.

Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.

I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.

Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.

I’m reaching out to you now, in the hopes that someone, anyone, can help. I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for a chance—just a chance—to live. A chance to escape this never-ending cycle of fear, destruction, and loss. A chance to rebuild my life somewhere safe, where I can begin again, where I can find hope once more.

Any amount you can give will help me get closer to safety. Even the smallest donation will make a difference—it could be the lifeline I need to survive.
