Because I have no life i was on pic crew and made
Minna Alexandra Draconia ( malleus x yuu/mc )
and
Samantha Alexandra Clover (trey x yuu/mc )
Or how they would basically look, and I'm trying and failing to write a thing where they both meet even though they normally wouldn't because both are diffrent paths (like one of those kids travel to the past type things but a bit more complicated) also I sort of thought of a few more kids for some others and what not)

Chapter thirteen
Chaim took a deep breath. The air was crisp. The wind cold as it blew with out a care. And the moon while bright in the sky was mostly ingored as people favor other things. Irfan sat on his shoulder as he watched the land bellow him.
After a moment he jump off the railing. Closing his eyes the wind whipped humans his clothing but its not like he found any issue as he did his normal magic becoming one with his familair and spread out his wings which caught the wind and before anything happened he begin using the wind currents to take him away from the room he leaped out of.
Opening his eyes the world below him was much different look from the ground, but it was not unfamiliar to him who spent many days sneaking out in the middle of the night. He had a goal. But he wouldn't head straight there, first to the slums get some intal and ask for them to do some digging for him, maybe do a bit of good by handing out a bit of money here and there, and than head to the den.
For now he was flying and it wouldn't take him to long to get to where he wanted to go landing on a roof he split himself from Irfan landing with a thud he motion for his familar to head off ahead. Soad bird would look for any guards and warn him in advance should they be on his usual path. After all he could be in all the blind spots but sometimes a guard might decide to actually look or they are following someone into said blind spot.
But first things first chaim walked to the side and drop onto the balcony and knocked on the shutters and moved a bit away to to lean on the wall near where they would open and while he might look relaxed he was ready to pull out his dagger at a moments notice his eyes watching the area to see if anyone was learking about.
When the shuttle open the woman who had opened it looked around before spotting him in which he gave a little wave.
"Young King!" She spoke a little to loudly for his liking but she quickly quieted herself and apologized for it, and than asked him to come into the room.
And had he, nothing to do, maybe he would have, stay and 'talked' but he had things to do so he shook his head. And he didn't have to tell the woman anything more as she asked him if he was seeking information. In which he nodded.
The woman than closed the shutters and chaim went back to watching the streets. When the shatters open again the woman had a notebook and held it out to him.
Pushing himself off the wall chaim reached for the notebook and quickly went though the notes. Humming at everything he reached into the scak he carried and pulled out a small bag full of money. It would most likely pay for a month or two of rent along with utilities. But to him it wasn't much. And while he wished he could give more, he knew from experience that by gaving to much money risked having the woman target by those who would do her harm.
So it was best to keep it at a reasonable amount for someone to have in their savings.
Humming again Chaim was about to leap off the balcony, since he needed to see two more informants and than to the den. When the woman called out to him telling him to be careful. In which he nodded and than leaped onto the nearby roof. And thus begin running across the roof tops jumping and volting over the roofs his destination clear in his mind he needed to get to the hide out of a pertcaler faction that run in the underbelly of the city.
A few jumps here and there and a lot of running had him than making his way though a window rolling to minimize the blow to his body and he stood. Turning to the man who was thankfully in the room, though he hadnt been alone, not that it bother chaim, since he knew these men after all the years of dealing with them.
"Young king!" The men seemed to shift posture. Knowing what their next order would be. After all possibility denailabilty was in fact a thing.
The head of the syndicate shook his head. And ordered his men out. Said men did leave though a few of them try to ruffle his hair under his hat. And he huffed trying to make sure it didn't fall off. At least the man in charged told them to knock it off and they men left the door closing behind them.
Fixing his hat the head spoke. "So kid." The man paused making chaim look at him. And he asked the typical questions he expected out of the man. Which had chaim rolling his eyes, and unlike his other informents, where he would have to just use body motions grunts and hums to get his messages across with out Irfan.
The head was a different story and chaim begin using sign launage. Part of the many things he had to learn, to better himself for the sake of his family name. And he was partly greatful to actually be able to use it on a normal bases, due to these 'talks' and these meetings also allow him to use another skill he had to learn.
[things have been going well with me, didn't quite expected to be back, so soon but I can't let nothing slip by me, so I manged to swing on back for a bit. As for ee he's off doing some recon, since I need some info. And I don't plain on staying very long, just enough to get a few shiny things and get something rolling.]
His last statement seemed to peak the head's interest. And he again begin speaking though he was getting the notebook, that chaim always asked for everyone to write in for him. Moving to his own bag he threw a larger bag full of money on the table, not worried about a double cross, he's known the head to long to worry about, and the both of them have a sort of neutral understanding of things. Plus it also helps chaim brings medication for the man's daughter. Which would be a struggle for him to get otherwise.
Once the man handed over the notebook to chaim, he took it slipping it under his arm to take off a glove than open the notebook. closing his eyes he begin reading the markings that most people might not realize, but said marks were actually words, they were in fact brail he ran his hand over the pages checking that everything seemed ok.
Nodding he put the notebook in his bag. And put his glove on. The head address him again asking if he wanted to join him. Which always chaim shook his head. The man laughed and ruffled his hat and he huffed. As he again try to fix his hair and wished him luck.
Chaim thanked him, and mention he had a more important job, but will discuss that some time in the coming week. He than moved to head back out the window before the boss called him and he tirn around only to catch something tossed at him before looking at what had been thrown.
"The misses told me to hand that to the next time you showed up, since the weather is getting cold and she was sure you and ee are bound to be out in it." The gift seemed to be a scarf and chaim nodded and thanked the man and told him to give his family his regards. Before he leaped out the window again and made is way to the next destination.
It was a quick affair to find their their informat. Sadly it seemed he wouldn't get anything from them today since it seemed some corrupt guards were about given that Irfan was waiting for him on the roof and posing in a way he was ment to if their was crouption happening. Once closer to the side of the wall he looked down and in fact saw the child being hounded by the cops. Sighing he motion for Irfan to fly.
His familair would wait for the right moment to move in and act depending on how things looked. For now chaim made his way down before he was closer to the ground and than let himself drop onto the main offender. It would most likely just knock the wind out if him. Rather than really do damage. And he 'acttcdently' drop some gold coins which would draw them corrupted officers attention.
"Its the modern king of thevies!" Chaim smirk under his mask and did a two finger salut before taking off running. The officer than went running after him. The thing is he knew the slums rather well despite his privilege life, after all he spent a lot.of time running away from home and exploring the world outside his golden halls.
It was actually fun, and these guys were no where as good as rotem and his men, so this was almost child's play. So racing though the city he would find himself drawing closer to the river and putting his rebreather in his mouththe mask hiding it from any on lookers after all the river is the best place to lose people after all its fast current would not be something most.people can escape from, but than again most people didn't have tools that would let them escape. But even he had to be careful or else this escape could be his death.
So diving into the river he hit the water with a loud splash. And chaim knew he only had a short amount of time as he moved under the water tossing a bottle of fake blood before using some rope and a claw dagger he stab it into a hopefully empty boat. That was tied to the side of the river mean it wasn't going anywhere and so long as he was attached to the boat he wouldn't be either.
He than had to wait. Watching glimpse of lights seeming to scan the river it seemed no one noticed him. Time seemed to tick at a snails pace. Before the lights seemed to leave the area. Taking a deep breath he the rope tighter and allowed his mind to focus on Irfan, when he opened his eyes he saw not the site of being under the water but the site of sitting on an awnings looking at a boat in the river the mean walking down the streets all of them actually seeming to look for a bit longer before seeming to give up and head down a street.
Chaim blinked and nodded and closed his eyes and the site was soon gone and he was back under the water hiding under the boat. Using his other hand he grab his dagger and stab it unto the boat just so he can dislodge the claws. And return it to where it was before he moved to get out from under the boat and onto the top of it. A bit of a struggle but he manged once on the boat he took a moment to remove the rebreather and actually pant since he had been running out of oxygen in the small tank. And he had been doing his best not to panic. But now he could suck in air like he had been wanting to.
Laying on the boat he sort of knew he had to move but he really didn't want to. Sadly he had to so standing up he did a spell which dry his clothes and called Irfan to him and he again merged his familar. He than. Headed to the edge of the city reaching the farm lands and landing outside a ranch where their were houses entering the barn where the horse slept.
Taking a moment to ditch the unneeded oxygen tank and stick the unneeded stuff in a chest. He'll get it some other time. But not at the moment. Once done, chaim scan the horses seeing which one would be fitting for his needs. And moved to get the horse ready to ride.
Opening the door he gentle woke the creature which seemed to be confused for but a moment only to calm down as it was handled a treat. And followed chaim out of the barn before everything was put on him..and chaim got onto the horse. Irfan who had been keeping a look out from the barn roof flew to land on his shoulder. And with that he smiled under his mask and took off into the desert.
The cool breeze hitting him as he urged his horse to move the beast moved as quickly as he urged it to and the ride he knew was going to take a while, he might just have to be missing in the morning, but he'll deal with that later. The ride would take him some time and he would slip into the hidden area that most wouldn't have seen from the outside, and only those who knew about it could find the place.
And of course he knew of the place. And he knew the men who had been hiding and watching the entrance had seen him for a while but he didn't care. What mater was getting off the horse once inside the hidden cave and he heard the murmurs of the others inside the cave. The only thing lighting the cave were candles and lamps a mix of old and ancient lights flickered in the cave giving it a yellow hue.
Making his way to the center of the cave's main chamber past the halls and the smaller sections that lead to smaller rooms where some rested. Though most rested in the large chamber where many hammocks were set up along with training dummies.
Though he ingored it all what he headed to was the large table. Though as he near it Irfan flutter in his shoulder before flying off his only warning before he shifted his postion narrowly avoid being stab with a dagger.
Chaim sighed deeply before setting his bag on the table with a loud thud. Closing his eyes he connected with Irfan who returned to him. Sitting upon his shoulder as Irfan was his voice while he himself remain silent.
"/Sakhr./" He heard movement from behind him. Most likelythe other teen moving closer.
"/I can't belive you would do that, and here I thought I would bring gifts./" Taking a moment to dump the bag onto the table a lot of gold and gems spilled onto it, enough to set every one of the people here for a good chunk of time. Assuming they sold it all. Though he was sure they might keep a good chunk of it to play with like small children would sand at the beach.
Turning around chaim turn to see Sakhr unamused. Though the other teens face changed as he pulled out the claw dager. "/and I bought this gift of gold especially for you. Even tested it to make sure it was nice and sharp./" chaim took a moment to look the blade over as he ran his hand over it. Even in the pale light the gold of the blades shined brightly.
"/but I guess, I could just keep such a thing./" chaim motion to put the claws back on his person, but Sakhr quickly made his way over to him and put his hand on the shoulder that Irfan wasn't on.
"Oh! Don't be like that, I was only kidding!" The teen patted his shoulder. But chaim wasn't stupid and honestly he didn't trust the slightly older teen, and rolled his eyes.
"/you say that, but had i been anyone else, that dagger would have stab me in the back, not something to take lightly, should I take this to mean you are challenging me yet again?/" it wasn't uncommon for sakhr to challenge him to prove who was stronger and who should lead their group.
"Of course not! You know I only do such a thing to not get to dull." The elder patted his shoulder and chaim rolled his eyes again. before stepping away from the elder who acted as his second when he wasn't around. But honestly this pet project of his was sometimes a pain, but he promised himself to help the people, and what better way to help the people than to rein in a well known thevies guild and reform them to do good.
"/yes yes yes. But I belive we all know the old stories whisper among our kind. Of a great king of thevies who greatness known no bounds. And his men who followed him and how they actted in betrayal and almost killed the king, but if not for his greatest and the loyalty of his bird familair and the one man who actually was loyal he would have been killed. So tell me Sakhr, are you the loyal man? Or one of the thirty-nine that would dare cross me?/" he glared at his second. Refusing to back down.
And it seemed sakhr step away and gave a bit of a bow. "I am nothing but loyal to you king." Chaim watched him for a moment with narrow eyes before sighing and tossing the dagger at his seconds feet.
He than looked around the room and motion for the others to come get the gold in which the desended upon it like a bunch of staving dogs to a feast of fresh meet. Sighing he moved to let them have at it till everyone had something.
"/now that you are enjoying the bit of riches I have come onto some information that might make everyone of you, set for life./"
This stament peaked everyone's interest. And all turn to hear him out hoping onto the table chaim begin to explain he came upon a couple good rumors. One that was so old that they were mer children when it happened, and the other a more recent event that would make travel much easier for them.
And of course the others asked questions, and chaim spun a tale upon hearing that the young master of the al-asim family order for many vehicles and animals to be bought to the mansion. Chaim mention that perhaps said items could go missing. Of course its not really stealing if he's the one who bought the stuff and is taking said items but none of the men here had to know that part.
But now was what he wanted to do. And he informed the men of his guild that they were to seek out information that was around ten years old. That information well he wanted them to find someone, and they wouldn't have to do much after that because he would do the last leg of the work if they mange to find him. Even if they don't at least the got transport out of this deal.
Of course while looking for some old person didn't really mater to them, chaim could see how much the thought of money excited them. And while he wish they would just relax, maybe after this and with enough money that it should last them well into their fiftiethes he hoped they could become decent people. And he also hoped they could help him get justice for rotem. After all its only fair that his loyal retainer get some justice. And if he had to use his connections to the under belly of the world than so be it.
After all he swore he would protect his people, and the best way to help rotem was to help him get peace of mind. And thus that is what he'll do. Even if it will not be the most cleanest of ways, he'll use what he can to get the ending result for he was in fact the modern day king of thevies.

Chapter twelve
Ulrik cursed as he attempted to stabilize the ice again. He's been at this for so long he's beginning to wonder if he'll ever make it. Though he push that thought away, he was going to make it, he finished the ice and went though the gap he been going deeper into the once beautiful ice fortress. That is currently in shambles, it could be rebuilt, but it wasn't important.
Now what was more important was the smell of blood and ink he's been smelling as well as the added pressure from the depths. Sure he was merfold but even they couldn't do into the darkest depths of the ocean. So far down that the sun didn't even touch the pressure was hurting but he needed to keep pushing till he found Mona.
He could only curse himself for not being faster perhaps if he did maybe he could have done something? But than again he wasn't a fool. They were dealing with one of the if not thee most powerful mage and being in all of twisted wonderland, and it seems all the preparation hadn't been enough.
His gut twisted at the thought. His lady was alive, he knew that. After all the mark she had given him was still there. Ever present. A reminder that their promise or deal as she calls it with other, was still in effect. Had she left this world the mark would have backlash and disappeared while also injuring all who had made a deal with her. The longer the deal the more pain inflected. After all her death would be a brake in contract, and normally it would just effect her but it seems the only one who gets effect is the living party.
At least thats what both his lady and the twins have informed him. After all had he been around at the time he never would have agreed to letting Mona temporarily die to see what would happen. Honestly, his lady and the twins really need a better sense of self preservation.
Shaking his head he kept working on the getting closer, glad he had decided to make the bag he drap over his shoulder glow in the dark other wise he might not have been able to see this far deep. Pushing some more ice that actually seemed lose he went more deeper.
Everything was really unsettling and unstable, and he could hear creaking from somewhere around him but he kept pushing himself. No mater what his instinct was tell him, he refused to leave his lady behind.
Though his resolve had been tested as things began to shake and he had to quickly dodge as some ice almost crashed to him and he had to move about to try and avoid being impaled.
Though it seemed like he had been rewarded for once the ice had shifted and everything went still once more. Ulrik smelt the the blood and ink smell of Mona that seemed to grow stronger an indication she was close.
And a bit closer to where the smell was coming from he saw a familer shadow and moving the bag to bring light to see it better, ulrik got a better view of the large shell like hide hole, Mona liked to hide in when she couldn't hide back her emotions.
Quickly moving to the shell he try to find the hole it wasn't a large hole but he did mange to find it as his hand brushed against the softness of a tentacle. "My lady?"
Not wanting to invade her space with out meaning to, at least not yet, but if things got worse he was going to force her out. But it's best they go back slowly as not to suffer from the pressure issue. "We need to get you out of here."
Ulrik waited for anything and hated how his gut was twisting as there was no movement for a few long moments, what if he had been wrongly informed? What if the mark from the promise was nothing more than a mark now? Or what id he did get some backlash but thanks to the amount of pressure from being this deep, maybe he just didn't realize it?
But while his mind begin racing with all the horrible what ifs their was a slightest bit of movement and the smell of blood and ink became more portent and soon mona's face appeared. The lower half covered in ink and while he couldn't see the blood due to how she was postion he was sure it was bad enough that it was still in the water.
Reaching into his bag he moved to get a few bottles and hand it over to her. She didn't move for a while. Slowly blinking as she reached for the bottle before pulling it into the hide away her tentacles moving to re hide herself. and ulrik waited before again. His eyes begin trying to scan the area around them trying to figure if their was going to be an easy way out after the cave rumbled and collapse partly. How many times was that going to happen before they would mange to get themselves out of here. But than again he might have to do the loin share of the moving, which if he must he will.
Noting move ment he saw the now empty bottles tossed and mildly watching as they were soon lost to the darkness. Sometjing that uneased him. They really needed to get get out of here. Turning to the shell and what he could see he gently tapped the side of the opening. "My lady we need to leave....now."
Nothing. He knew she was alive but she wasn't responding and he sighed closing his eyes with a deep breath. "Forgive me" its all he said as he put his hands on the tentacles and using his signature spell he pulled away the pain that Mona seemed to be feeling and had he not been expecting it he might have crumble at the amount he got hit with. And from the ghost feeling he just knew he was going to kill that bastred for daring to do what he's done.
But he also knew trying to challenge the most if not on the most powerful beings would be a death sentence. They had already risked a lot with this deal. And he wasn't going to trust the twins to keep Mona safe, since they seem to encourage a lot of nonsense.
Though at least his actions were rewarded as he felt movement benth his hand and pulling them away, Mona reappeared her face still had some ink on it, and her face devoted of the usual smirk on her features. Rather he could tell she was scared and still rather shaken from what she must have had to deal with alone. And ulrik found himself hating himself for not being able to do something.
quietly she had moved to cling to him, her face hiding in the crook of his neck and for a moment in the dull glow from his bag he had saw the extent of her injuries. She was to quiet and he hated it. Ulrik knew Mona, she was never quiet always making some sort of sound be it thougj speaking or some type of movement since she never wanted to stay still, always wanting to make sure no opportunities slip past her.
The fact she wasn't ached his heart more than any of the pain he pulled from her. A temporary fix tills he could be fully healed. But it should work for now. And plus they need out now escpaslly since he was hearing sounds that unsettled him from above. "My lady, I'm going to carry you for a bit, but you're going to have to swim on your own in some moments."
Nothing but a small nod. Not for that much he begin heading up, glad Mona had tossed the bottle since it help reestablish which way was down and which was up, since this darkness made it hard to figure out what was what.
Honestly being this far away from the mesopelagic zone was not something he hoped to ever do again... well unless he was able to push that bastred here, shit he even go as deep into the abyss as he could, if it meant making that damn fae suffer. Though that might end up killing him due to the pressure, since he was already in a lot of pain from it at the moment, and they were somewhere in top half of the bathypelagic zone
But that is neither here or now. No what matter was getting high enough to see the sun so with Mona in hands and trying not to look at the extremely short tentacle which was only a third of its original length ulrik begin making his way upwards but again the quiet never suited Mona. So he decided to ask a question. "Did the plain work?"
Again nothing as he moved and swam upwards at a slugs pace honestly he was wondering if she had fallen asleep before a small quiet voice spoke. Much to soft for his lady but at least it was a sign she was ok. "..... it did..."
"Than once we return to NRC, should I begin the part of the plain while you rest?" Ulrik was really begin to hate the quiet as he moved. Having to shift Mona as he shifted some ice about so he could slip though the gap. And she just said nothing.
Honestly it was driving him mad! He wanted her to gloat! To swim around him and poke and proved at him while giggling and talking about whst ever she was planning or complain about how the twins were being a pain in the ass. Anything but seeing her so reserved and trying to hide within the confines of her tentacles.
"...... a week..."
"My lady?" Pausing after setting the ice off to the side he looked back at Mona.
"We should wait a week... he... he was much more upset, when I destroyed the tome once he return and realized his mistake ." This time her voice was a lot louder. No where near her normal speaking voice but louder than before.
Ulrik nodded not to sure what else to say to that. After all the fae destroy their hide out and nearly killing his lady, and manged to destroy the ice so bad that they were anywhere between two thousand to four thousand meters under the ocean surface. And ice that had bound to have been around before the ages of gods was broken. And some having sunken down into the abyss again an unsettling thought. If his lady thought a week was good to wait he'll wait that week. "Alright, but you have to promise me you'll rest till than."
Feeling Mona nodded he at least felt a bit better and hoped everything will get better for them. After all its not like their doing anything really wrong, just trying to right some wrongs and whose to say anything about it, but themselves.

Chapter ten
Brigitte admit she was tried after everything that happened. Also her parents seemed to smother her for a while, and while it was a bit of a pain she was sort of happy to see her parents after all its been a while.
And after calming her dad down (something both she amd her father did a bit often) she was able to go back to her dorm though she was followed by her parents till they seemed to be called else where and while she had simply wanted to flop down on her bed and sleep, for quite a long while. It seemd her absence caused a power valcum that before she could sleep Brigitte had to stomp out. And remind everyone one, no only who she was but the pride they should have as members of their dorm and that they shouldn't bring shame to the dorm by acting like fools.
And while most time she was quiet and didn't say much she knew it was the time to get loud m, and loud she got. And she admit she was worried she might have hurt a few ears, but they honestly needed to behave like reasonable people, rather than a bunch of fools. But at least that event made it clear.to her that she seemed to have gotten faster and stronger in her time away from home.
Of.course she had texted meri who oddly enough didn't respond till that morning saying that they were training for months with weights, which made Brigitte wonder if she could mimic it with actually weights and decided she should most likely do that so she could keep the speed and strength from the fight. But that would be something she had to look in later?
Or ask mister crewel the potion teacher? Or would it be better to ask Mrs crewel the home economics teacher? After a moment of thought Brigitte figure it might safer to ask the potion teacher since everyone knows if you don't make an appointment Mr crewel the math teacher and Mrs crewel would be making out in their class room, and she rather not walk into that. Roumor has it someone saw them doing worse but it has never been confirmed.
But pushing all that aside Brigitte has slept poorly and had been awoken by her alarm. Because it seems the headmage wouldn't let them escape from school, and thus Brigitte got up and dressed before heading to the cafeteria for some breakfast.
Yawning she didn't seem to notice or care about most of the whispers around her, after all its not like she could stop them, and it's not like they were saying anything bad, just talking about her, chaim and meri returning from where they disappeared from. As well as the beating she had done to her dorm, or at least the ones who had thought to cause trouble but for now everything should be peaceful.
At least in her dorm, sighing she wonder what the cooks had been making when she heard someone calling her name and for a moment she was confused since not to many people add the word 'miss' to the front of it. Before it clicked. And she recalled the Heartslabyul freshman she had saved.
Having noticed the girl she gave her a light wave. And she noted the girl coming closer to her, and Brigitte wonder if she could ask the girl what was good today? (After all she couldn't remember what they were serving today since she wasn't fully sure if she only slept for a few hours or for mutable days. Mostly because how tried she felt maybe after a few days she might stop feeling light headed? Another thing to text her friends about later.
Ywaning Brigitte soon found herself bombard with questions one after another, it seemed the freshman was both worried and curious. And while she did try to think of the events she knew their was a bit of a haze a fog hiding it, but than again that was also explained to her, after the mission of getting them back, a lot of the information would be destroyed, esared from the records to keep anyone from using the information from being used for evil uses. Afrer all time travel isn't something anyone should truly have.
Reaching out she found herself patting the girl's head. She was much smaller than herself so it wasn't hard to do so. "I don't mind answering some of your questions, but is it alright if I eat first?"
It seemed the girl was embarrassed as she seem to apologize, in which brigtte told her it was fine and than went to go get food before sitting down, and it seemed while she had been doing that the freshman had bought over her own meal to sit beside her.
And.the girl begin her questions and while Brigitte couldn't remember details, not that she planned on telling the girl everything, memory wipe or not. After all she didn't want someone overhearing and than trying to get more information out of her. Information she didn't have. Why did people have to be so heartless to others? No what matters is doing what can to do what's right.
So eating and answering every few questions Brigitte found herself in the middle of many other people as she had to mention what happened but rather go into details she was merely answering questions of the people who had gather around her in hopes to know what happened.
By the end of breakfast and the bell rang to go to classes she had a mix of students from diffrent dorms around her seeming to be watching her, some with a shine in their eyes. Others with a bit of disbelief, others who seemed to want to ask more but where unsure how too.
What she did tell them, they were transport to another world, the air their was like breathing though smog, and their movement was hinder by some great weight. They did have to dress like the locals so they weren't found out. They had only fought one great beast (she didn't tell them it was an overbloat rotem) no they didn't become famous because they were trying to keep a low profile.
The food was decent, they got the foods by a bit of trading and selling things (she wasn't fully sure how, but it seems meri and chaim made it possible and she wasn't to sure ask for more details but they had said it was legal means), and no they didn't find love since they try to stay close to themselves, and not interact with people unless they couldn't help it.
They weren't sleeping out in the wood but had found a small abbondon place to room for the time they were there. They even fixed it up so it was more liveable for them. And based on the dates, seemed time flow the same there as it did here so they were their for the same amount of time as they were missing here.
And yes they had been looking for a way back home. But it had taken us a while to get back, thankfully they did get back since she admit to being tried, of not being home. She also said she did get to see a lot of cute animals and pet them.
And yes their was nature so they did what they can in the shadows. After that point Brigitte had wrap everything up and had gotten up since they still had classes, or rather she did, she wasn't sure if meri and chaim would. And Brigitte found herself hoping her two friends would be ok. All she could do was hope they would be alright. None the less she had class to go and hopefully not a lot of make up work.
So after getting up tossing her trash and say buy to all the ones who had gather to hear her talk about what happened Brigitte made her way to the first class of the day, feeling rather hopeful for the day ahead.

Chapter eleven
Imani sighed deeply. She was annoyed. And despite it being the next day she had been tempted to skip class. But had ended up going in the end. After all she could imagen what those damn nobles would say if they found out she skipped class. A punch to the gut. No. She wouldn't bring shame to her dad nor the memories of her mother.
Sighing she twirl her pen, her mind on other things rather than class. Her mind trying to turn over what could be the lack of the truth from the man she loved so dearly. They promised no big secret between the both of them, and she was true to her words and told the male things she hasnt told anyone, things that she had kept close to he chest. And she had assumed he had been the same.
But the fact that Rama made some sort of deal with the housewarden of Octavinelle, and she was none the wiser?! And when did he do such a thing? She spent the first few months of his housewarden hood doing everything as per their bet, and once they ended up together she's been by his side as his lover, so when? Sighing imani ran a hand though her hair again.
And maybe she wasn't as angry as she was trying to let on, more so hurt that she hadn't known. Sighing again she found herself going though her classes in a bit of a hazy, coping notes and doing paperwork with practice ease. After all what is a little mind numbing work to a girl who spent most of her childhood trying to prove to a bunch of stuck up nobles that despite not being noble by birth, she and her family were worth the title bestowed upon them with her mother's marriage to her dad.
It would be after morning classes and lunch time when her beloved idoit of a fence would find her. And given how well she knew him she could tell that he was hurting. That something was weighing deeply on his thought, he did get like this from time to time and she would comfort him, but she could tell this was much wrose than the other times.
Sighing for what felt like the uptin time imani reached up and gently cup his face. He leaned into her touch his eyes drifting closed as he seek comfort from her. She couldn't help the soft smile on her face. "Let's go to our room, we can talk or just relaxed."
Rama gave a weak nod. It seemed he would allow her to lead him where ever. Luckly he really was going to take them to their room, because despite the hurt at the secret being kept from him, she still longed to be beside him. This man who help lighten her own load and made her feel safe and warm when she could no longer stand tall from all the eyes on her proseved perfection.
"I.... got us lunch." Chuckling she patted his cheek and pulled away to grab his free hand.
"I noticed. Now come on, if we wait to long our food will get cold." Hearing him mumble what it was, had her rolling her eyes as she tug him to the mirror that would take them to their dorms.
"Than before the drinks grow warm." Imani pulled them both though the halls, no would should think to much about it since its not like its the first time she's pulled him though it sometimes he'll even carry her as they would skip eating with everyone just to spend the time alone. They've done it so much no one so much as blinks at it anymore.
They would walk and walk with him tugging Rama behind her till the reached their room opening the door and closing it behind them she pulled out her pen and put a spell on the door in order to sound proof it. Than tug Rama to the bed and plopping herself onto the bed.
Sitting on the edge she had expected him to sit beside her, but was surprised when he dropped to his knees before her and moved so he could rest his head on one of her thighs. His head between her legs. His arms wrapping around her waist holding her close.
This postion was a bit embersing, but for some reason Rama found it the most comforting so she would deal with it as she gently pet his head giving him a few scratches here and there as he seemed to be breathing in deeply.
Time would trial off as she would spend the time petting his head. Rama's warm breath seeping though the fabric of her skirt and brushing her skin. It honestly sent chills though her spine.
"...... imani....do you love me?" The question caught her by surprise, to the point she had stopped stroking his head.
After a moment she rolled her eyes she flicked one of his ears. "Just because I'm hurt doesn't mean I've stop loving you silly." And as if to prove her point she pulled out the necklace that held the promise ring Rama gave her. "I did say yes to marrying you after all."
Rama moved from his postion and reached for the necklace. Imani watched as he lift3e the necklace from around her neck to than removing the ring off the leather string. He than reached out for her left hand m, before sliping the ring onto her finger. He than pulled her hand to his lips. Giving her hand a gentle kiss.
The simple action had imani's heart skip in her chest. Her cheeks becoming a bit warm and she watched as he gave a look that made her shiver. "Rama~" her voice was soft nudged her should which she knew what it meant as she lay her upper half on the bed.
Imani felt her body warm up as she soon found herself under her lover. his lips on hers and her arms wrapping around his neck cling to him. And while one of his hand was holding her cheek the other decided to explore else where, which caused her to gasped into the kiss.
For the exploring hand, seemed to have slip under her skirt and begin rubbing her inner thigh with his thumb. Sending chills though her. And pulling away from the kiss her breath in pants. "Tease."
The male said nothing as he moved to.her neck and begin kissing and biting her. And for a moment she wonder if he was still bothered about what he wanted to speak about. And why she did like the thought of having her brains screwed out of her. She sighed softly and reached to give his ears a little scratch.
"Won't you talk to me?" Imani waited wondering if he would just avoided the whole thing. But she could feel he had stopped. His breath running over her neck but nothing for a while. Though when he did pull away, Rama cupped her cheek again softly running his thumb over her lips.
"Can you still love me after what im going to tell you?" His voice broke as he spoke. And honestly, if imani was honest it looked like he was about to brake. And it hurts to see the strong brave man looking so hurt.
"How about we eat, and skip the rest of our classes? We can just cuddle under the sheets, talk about it and..." imani reached for rama's hand and pressed it to her chest above her heart. "And i promise no mater what happened in the past the love I have for you will not change, after all no mater what you think my feelings are my own, and these feelings are not something that can change be it from a mistake of the past, what maters is what we do now and in the future."
Imani soon found Rama lips on hers again. And she returned the kiss, holding a bit tighter to his hand that she still had it on her chest. And personally she didn't mind it being there. And only after the need to breath became apparent did they both pull away.
"If were going to be in bed we should take off our shoes."
The words while true, made her chuckle and she let go of his hand and lightly pushed him to get him to move. "Fine, just get off since I can't do it when you're sitting between my legs, unless you plain on taking them off me." The look that crossed her fiancée face showed that he would very much like that.
Rolling her eyes and trying not to show her smirk. She "Horn dog."
"For you."
That remark had her choking on her own spit, since it was a rather cheesey line but it did make her feel giddy. Sometimes Rama really was a handful, but than again he was her handful, and she wouldn't have it any other way. And she knew that no mater what she'll be able to handle what ever it is that weighs heavily on his heart, because they have each other and always will.

Chapter nine
Samantha or Sam for short, (though not to be confused with the shop keeper, she was just going by the shorten version of her middle name; alex ) woke up. And honestly with how she was feeling she sort of didn't want too. Greatful that she had decided to close the curtains of the half testers, the night before, so that the sun's rays didn't blind her. sam shifted slightly trying to get comfortable again.
She felt heavy. Like a large weight was on her. Sort of how one feels, after laying in a tub full of water for too long. And her head ached. A migraine perhaps? Maybe more sleep would help, after all if the alarm isn't going off than it mustn't be time to wake up yet. With that thought sam, had been hoping for she could sleep more. Sadly the sound of her phone going buzzing with a call made her pause.
Who is calling this early? Not wanting to actually open her eyes, Sam felt around for her phone and than partly open her eyes just to look at the number and answering the phone, grumbling a sound to show she was in fact awake despite not being able to fully function.
The person on the phone was panicked and asked if she was fine. Samantha shifted her brain wasn't fully registering everything but she knew something was up. "Yeah....though I think I have a migraine." Samantha yawned and while tempting to rub her eyes, she knew if she did she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep easily.
Half listening to her mother the teen was about to drift back to sleep, only for her mother to say something which snap her out of her drozy state as her eyes shot open adrenaline now coursing though her. "What do you mean?!?! Missing?!?! Have you try calling mina?!"
Samantha had just spoken to her sister hours before! How could she be missing? Her mom continued to speak explaining while not actually missing it was merely a nightmare and yet she hasn't gotten ahold of the mina thus her fears.
Samantha sort of hated how now she was starting to worry for her elder sister. "I was talking to her last night, while it wasn't that late here, it was bound to really late for her, maybe she's still sleeping, or she mistakenly broke her phone again." Sam could easily see her sister getting to excited reading a fanfic and snapping the phone in her excitement or losing said phone and in a panic start tearing though everything only to end up stepping on the screen and screaming at the top of her lungs about her poor luck.
And while funny, she also felt some amount of pity for the elder who struggled with sensitive things, which is why when the elder decided to go into the field of archeology, the family had been surprised. But the mina had wanted it and thus she was off doing that in fact she should be at a dig site if she recalled, and Samantha decided to relay that information to her mother, who still seemed to be in panic.
It didn't seem to fully help, and it honestly it did worry mina to hear her mother in the middle of freaking out. Though thankfully she soon hear her dad in the background before he took the phone from her mother, and she knew it based on how loud he gotten when he spoke.
"Sorry dear, I know it's early over there, which is why I told her to wait and call, but she can't seem to sleep or stop worrying without check on everyone, and while I guess she already asked but how are you doing?"
"Yeah, she did. And besides officially being awake thanks to ma' scaring me, and my head hurting like I have a migraine. I'm alright. School's been well School. And I. Passing all my classes so far." Since she wasn't sure what time it actually was sam moved the curtin so she could see the clock on the desk, she had thirty minutes before it went off saying she had to get up, not to bad, but still annoying.
"Sorry about that, if you don't feel up for it you can head to the nurses office and take the day off, just remember not to push yourself."
Sighing sam nodded only to remember she was on the phone. "I know. And ill text mina see if she responds, but how is everyone?"
"Overall good. Not including this nightmare, your mom misses you and your sister, and is currently trying to get your youngest brother to join jrotc, with help from your brother. And grim was sulking because he didn't want to join a cooking class. And I quote your brother. 'Why would I join a cooking class when I bake and cook at home?' End quote.
Sam found her self chuckling. "Grim is suck a glutton." She smiled at the thought of the feline sort of missing home and though she came to sage Island to better her education, it still didn't mean she didn't wish to maybe have gone to a school closer to home. None the less she can't change the past and she was going to finish her years here, just like her sister and than be the best in her field just like her sister and father (at least Samantha thought so anyway)
"He is, though I'm sure it about time get up, and I'm going to try calling the dig site manger to get your mom to relax, I'll text you what he says of you don't hear from mina."
"Oh! Ok. Text you later, and love you dad, tell mom and the boys i love 'em too." Sam heard her father chuckle and respond to her before he hung up.
Taking the phone from her ear sam checked the time and while not quite time she decided to just get up thus wiggling out of the warm sheets and grabing her things, some of which was in the chain up and hidden lock box (something her mother insisted on) she made her way to begin her morning routine.
Dressed, hair brushes, teeth brushed head back to her room to toss her sleeping clothes on her bed. Check to see if their was an inspection that day. If so fix said bed, if not head to the cafeteria. (Doing so also warns her roommates who get up later than her to panic and fix their stuff before they all get busted for stuff.
Once at the cafeteria she would see what they're making and decide what to eat from there. Sometimes if she was feeling a bit homesick like she was now. She'll ask the ghost in charge of cooking the food if they can burn her food a bit. Since despite being married to her father, her mom still had a bad habit of burning things and eatting it like it was perfectly fine.
While it wasn't fully charged or anything but eggs being a bit brown or pancakes black on one side possible on both. Or the tortillas having some darker spots. And while not just breakfast foods her mom like a lot of things extra crispy. And while sam found it not the best, she normally would eat it because her mom was always so proud and excited to see everyone's reactions and hear thoughts. And while same had been younger she had been honest and said it tasted bad or wouldn't dare try the food because of how bad it looked and or tasted to her.
Her father had one day pulled her aside and explained that her mother was cooking to express her love and show off the cooking skills she's learned from her own family or what she recalls from her own memories.
And that her mother is unable to ever see her own family ever again, and thus her and her siblings will never meet said side of the family. And so her mom is trying her best to show glimpse of her family, which would be the only way though what ever fragment of memories she has.
And while Samantha couldn't fully understand as a child, she now understood that her mother was dreadfully homesick. And insults to what little she could do, and was in a way a slap and reminder that she would never truly belong. And as odd as Samantha thought it to be her mother also took it as an insult to her family, but than again age makes it sort of make sense.
And now, she felt slightly burned or char food reminded her of her mother's excited and happy smiled as she urge everyone to try the food she spent cooking. Food that taste good, not because it was the best thing in the world, food that was ok or decent at best, in the flavor department, but was made with love and joy, that made it taste good.
Sighing softly and lost in thought sam didn't realize how much time had past till she felt someone sit beside her and noticed it was her fellow dormmate Lewis. And she greated him like she would anyone, while trying to keep her thoughts to herself.
Though it seems Lewis is smart enough to remember, what slightly burnt food on her plate meant. (But than again she had tap into the inner anger as she may or may not have not lifted the male off the ground with not so vale threats after he had tossed her food in the trash. Why he seems to come pester her after that she wasn't sure) "Alex? You good? After all I'm sure you can always call and what not, plus didn't you say you're family is coming to that compation thing? So its not like we got to wait to long for that to happen."
Samantha sighed deeply as the male kept calling her and getting on her nerves ans she debated on if it was worth the effort to get up and walk to a diffeent table. Taking a bite of her cooling eggs and putting it along with some of the fry potato bits into a slice of bread she ate it like one a taco or hot dog. Munching it while also mildly wondering if the universe decided that they would be out of mugs, would be because she would be tempted to brake it over Lewis's head.
Sighing and taking a drink of her orange juice a must for breakfast, since her mother swears by it. And looked around the room to find an out. Only to freeze as she saw a familar face. And stood up shocking Lewis at the suddenness of her action. (Not that she cared)
Food abandon for now, sam made her way over to the elder. After all the elder girl did save her from a bunch of bullies, and it hadn't mater she was from a diffent dorm she had done so regardless. So the teen was pretty excited to see some one she now looks up to back after being missing for a while. "Miss Brigitte! Miss Brigitte!" She was waving at the elder who seemed to notice her and wave back at her.
Once close Sam couldn't help but find herself need the tea on what happened and if the elder was ok, and maybe because miss Brigitte reminded her of her sister, but sam found herself reminded of home when talking to her. Which given the fact mina was currently being hard to get ahold of again, was at least a comfort, and maybe this is a good sign that mina was completely fine? and again just a clumsy person. After a thought, Samantha thought that Yeah, this was definitely a good sign that her elder sister was perfectly fine.

Chapter eight
Mona felt her head spining but she did her best to ingore that as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a compress. Conforming the risk she took didn't leave her with the mark showing that the deal has been full filed. Now that she's jump back to her original time. Taking a moment to scan the room she noted her plain of making sure everyone but shroud was busy seemed to he going well.
She was so glad that she had manged to get howel to use her services, cause it didn't make her a lier and so when she made that deal with with kingscholar it proved that she wasn't and now she has the woman in her palm with a deal, another important connection she need to make, but she'll cash that in later.
No for now she was going to put someone else in her debt with out making a deal. So grab on to shroud's arm, mona begin pulling the taller girl and begin leading her in the way to the door way she wasn't sure how far Schoenheit went, but she had instructed Ulrik to get the male out of the room so she could at least get shroud away from the others, because wouldn't it be nice to have the male in debated to her for getting them together?
She held back the smirk at the thought, shroud seemed to be trying to get away from her but she reminded that the girl had a deal with her and it isn't good to brake a promise. Which of course their was protest, which Mona needed her to do cause she wanted shroud unknowingly summon Schoenheit.
And with more pulling, Mona begin rambling about how her boys indicted that they missed her. Which to be fair wasn't a full lie, after all Mona noted how they did enjoy messing with shroud, which so long as it didn't effect their work or get them busted for anything, Mona found herself not caring what any of her men did on their free time. But she had asked once and they had said shroud made the most funniest of expression and also mention that the person always coming to her rescue was never the same, so it was also fun to see who would step in.
But it is also not like they were beging to see her, maybe mention it when they are completely bored out of their minds, usual before heckling herself or ulrik, which was personally annoying, remind her of those videos of dogs she's seen, like why get something if it isn't already trained? No mater not what she needed to be thinking about.
No, for she kept pulling shroud down the hall and to the stairs but it seemed the crying and pleading to be let go, finally summoned the one she was trying to get. And not wanting a repeat of the last time she had to deal with male she let go of shroud and it seemed ulrik moved to also step closer to her, his presence made her feel more at ease.
After all neither wanted a repeat of last month. But she wasn't going to walk off. "Greetings, Schoenheit. It is a pleasant day... or rather evening." Mona chuckled as she gave the male a smirk. "And what were you doing?"
"What i was doing is none of your concerns, but you seemed to be making mer- housewarden meri uncomfortable, and I think it would best if mind your hands." The glare he was sending her way, would kill her if he had the power to do so, but he didn't so it was good.
"Ah, is that so? I just simply wished to speak to shroud is all." Flicking her hair behind her shoulder (and she was sure it hit ulrik, but he didn't say anything) "but if you're going to be rude, than I will speak to her at another time and placing a hand on shroud's back, mona gave the smallest of shoves causing the other female to stumble forward.
And Mona watched as Schoenheit quickly moved to catch her. This distraction would be a good time to walk around them and down the stairs. But she did pause about half way down the first stairs case to look up at the other two house wardens. "I think i will have to visit you at a different time, so do leave the next week open."
She she held her head high as the male glared at her, but Mona couldn't help but notice his hand was on the other housewarden's waist, which he had her flushed against him. Turning around to hide the smirk she waved and headed down the stairs till she couldn't be seen and than motion for ulrik to pick her up.
The male sighed deeply and did so for her as she tried to hear what was being said, after all hearing gossip was so much better when seeing it or hearing it with her own ears. And would be able to make the claim much more easier.
Humming mona can make out what Schoenheit was saying but Shroud was speaking much to quietly to be head, and honestly she wish she could have planted a bug, but the last time she did, the were found out the moment she turn them on. So she had to do all this the old fashion way, which was sort of a bummer, but she'll deal with it.
At least what she could hear as wispy as it is seemed to be good though personal she did have issues with what she could catch being said, but than again she did have different taste in men. But more power to shroud if she wants the possessive type. Because to Mona it was unsettling. And some of the lines seemed so red flag.
Like how can someone hear 'I want to be the only one to feel and touch you'. and not be creeped out? And she knows Schoenheit said more but he went quiet and Mona could swear she heard a cry from shroud. Before the woman spoke loud. Telling the male she had a boyfriend. Whcih personal had Mona raise a brow.
Like is she really going to concerided someone you never meet a boyfriend? But than again she could never understand semi shut in people.. Though what Mona did find interesting was after some quiet chuckle from Schoenheit and another pause. And she lightly nudging ulrik with her foot before motioning to lift her higher. Because she needed the information.
Shroud half shouted before clearly covering her mouth. While it take a moment Mona soon realized that she shroud had referred to Schoenheit as some sort of allies that they most likely talk to each other with, which is honestly fair. And she'll have to ask for Danni, to find someone with a username with the word prince somewhere in it on the school forms.
Mona stretched herself to see if she could hear more only to feel that hands hold her up vanish and she found herself falling, though she didn't make a sound before she was caught. And looking to ulrik she was about to scold the jerk.
But given how long she's known him she could tell he had something important to tell her (or at least to him anyway) "You need to go, their wrapping it up, unless you want to be caught listing." Sighing deeply Mona knew he was still rather touchie about the whole Schoenheit incident. Which personally she knew what she was doing.... mostly.
And she did want to spy more, but than again Mona knew she should really check on the new cards, that need her attention. after all she was so close to the winning hand, just a few risk here and there would get her in a better postion than her father ever was in.
A thought that made her want to laugh in victory, but an early celebration, can lead to ones down fall, so she'll hold on it for now. "Dont take to long ulrik, or else I might leave you behind."
The male rolled his eyes and set her down, in which she return to her natural form and used that to help her down the side of the railing her tentacle gripping the bottom of it as she quickly made her way down to the bottom floor never letting herself fall at least not longer than a moment and once on the bottom she return to that a human and begin heading to the mirror chamber since she needed to speak to one of her new client there.
But while walking the halls she had time to make a phone call, so pulling out her cell, mona quickly went to her contact and hit Clemens's number. The phone would ring fully twice and mid thrid ring it was answered.
"Yes~ mistress~" Mona could hear the shit eatting grin on his face, and she found herself huffing.
"Shut it you!" She snapped slightly at him, for fuck sake, you think he would drop that nickname from her cringe younger years. Past her really should have thought better of being asked to be referred to as mistress, but she was young and dumb, and those two would not let her forget her cringe self, maybe she should just draw up an nda clause.
A later thought, for now business. "Though back on topic, I need you to call my father's favorite peices, and I need them here with in the week." After all Mona needed to make sure that her signature spell worked, and while she was sure it did she needed to be sure, and she had to have Clemens do it because it would be less supisses if blood relatives call and the eldest leech would leave the room to answer the call.
"I might need to also pull shroud to do her side of our bargen, but Schoenheit will most likely be involved so don't let your guard down. Though we might use it, so lead him to the lounge when you can." Mona kept walking and waited for the male to respond.
"But of course, and when should we expect you?" She could hear Clemens humming in thought. Mona figured his mind was already thinking about all the ways this can go.
"Not sure, depends on how long it takes to get our possible new client to agree to the deal, but if you need me ill be at our secret place."
"Oh?!" Clemens was clearly surprised.
Mona rose a brow wondering why he was surprised. After all she didn't want any chance that this deal would fall though. And to do so she needed to make sure no one would know where they are going, as well as somewhere that cameras could be used against her.
Thus their secret spot, plus given the place it might be more fitting for her, to help move things along. Just the thought made her chuckle. "None the less, do keep an eye on things here and don't let me down"
And with that she hung up and put her phone back in her skirt pocket before quickly moving to the mirror chamber. After all that is the first location she had asked for the man to wait for her there, the moment he heard news of the return of the three missing housewardens.
Honestly how she manged to have so many things just fall i to her lap was a blessing of sorts, a blessing she was going to take and not let go.
The trip to the chamber seemed to take forever but once she did get there she open the door and it seemed the man did in fact end up here. And Mona gave her best customer services smile. "Greetings your majesty, I am truly glad you came, so should we get going? After all we have much to discuss."
Watching the fae turn to her, the man towering over her, and the way his glowing eyes looked at her made a chill go up her spine. Something about that adult made her want to flee and hid in her octopot. But she couldn't, not if she wanted this deal to go though.
So despite the alarm bells that told her to run, mona straighten her back and motion to the mirror. "I also have this potion free of chrage" pulling out a small vial, mona held it out to the male.
"After all we got a lot of swimming to do and it would be best if you can breath under the water. Oh and don't worry it's perfectly safe since I would never make a poor potion, after all I would never hear the end of it." Mona laughed hoping for to lighten the mood by a little joke. She just hoped this deal would only end up well after all she was so close to the goal and she can't fail now.

Chapter seven
Meri was enjoying her dream. Where she was the main character of her favorite reverse heram game. She giggled as the men were helping her tend to her every whim. But most of all she was waiting for her favorite guy to come since he was the most handsome and also rather greedy when it came to her time.
And he indulge in most of her needs so long as in the end she remain at his side. He would even send his familar to keep an eye on her when he couldn't watch her himself. There were so many times he would save her and their would be so many steam scenes that it made her giggle at the mere thought of them. Humming she heard someone mention he was coming and she got super excited as the doors begin to open
Sadly her dreams were rudly intrupted and she soon found herself awake, drozy and rather annoyed. Taking a few moments to realize what is going on she stared at the vice warden for savanaclaw. A small squeak left her and she went to grab something to throw at the elder teen.
After all she was not a people person despite her online persona. and if she had a plant she might have thrown it at her, but than again isn't that cruel to the plant? Quickly dismissing the thought as she grab the pillow and tossed at the elder who seem to easily catch it.
The elder seemd to sigh before speaking. "Look, I am rather sorry to have spooked you, but I am waking you up to ask how long can it take for you to erase everyone's memories?"
For a moment meri looked to the other confused, before it clicked. "Fifteen minutes... but, don't we need to have one of everybody for it to work?" Meri slightly shifted the blanket hoping to hide under it. But she did recall rotem mentioning why the calculation she was working on didn't seem to fully work because she was in fact missing more than she thought.
"We got it covered, just figured it be best if we get you guys out, before anything else happens." The elder glanced to where rotem was.
Which had meri wonder if the male told the other vice that he overbloted. Something she really hoped she didn't have to deal with but she did sort of want to get home, after all her babies needed her and of course prince must be worried. Oh than her fans must also be worried as well, sure she pre recorded episodes but she normally did a live stream on the weekends so they surly must have noticed her missing.
So meri nodded and moved to get her stuff since she needed to start everything since everything would be in sleep mode. Not that it would take long to get it started, but still.
Sighing she glanced back up to see the two vice wardens getting brig and chaim up, and knowing she can't be drag around she moved to get up off the bed, glad she had a tablet to use since she couldn't use her laptop (not well anyway) while walking.
A few taps and here and there and she had access to what she wanted and needed. Anothwr yawn left her. She really wanted to go back to sleep. But she had a feeling if she did she would get yelled at, and she rather not be yelled at.
Taking a moment while she had it she open up the messaging app on her tablet and went to prince's name. Of corse there hasn't been a new message since they came here but sometimes re reading old messages made her feel a little less lonely.
Not to say she didn't find her friends less than its just, their is a different vibe hanging out with them and talking to her boyfriend. Sighing she looked up to see everyone was ready so with a mix of dread and excitement meri begin following them out the door.
All the while she can feel how heavy her own body felt, but than again she did pour a lot of magic into growing mutable trees to full maturity in a span of a few seconds and commanded their roots plung from the ground and fully entrap a person, which wasn't an easy task.
Though maybe her mom and grandma c I understand have done it easier... ok maybe her grandma but than again the woman was a little crazy that even as a plant lover herself her grandma was a little psycho when it came to plants. Just thinking about it made her shiver slightly.
Pushing her crazy plant grandma aside, she did have her own babies to take care of and while she was sure the robotic kicked in with her absence and they are being watered and getting their in taken sun light, she did worry about one of them that kept being dumb and trying to climb onto the sunlight, and she had to physically move the light and plant so it wouldn't burn itself. And the idoit kept trying to smother the light with its leaves and when she moved it the further from.the light it seemed to be moping.
Just thinking of the dummy made meri smile, if it a bit Sadly, for it has been much to long away from home. Because while this place was like home, it was not since it was missing the very things that made home, home.
Meri had been so lost in her own mind she didn't realize she was walking down the stairs till she almost trip and reached out for the railing to steady herself and keep from falling face first into the ground, possibly down the rest of the stairs to the turn point.
It also seemed most of them didn't notice... well expected for rotem who stared at her for a moment, and meri wonder if she gave him, a bit of a trauma flash back."I'm fine!"
At this the others looked at her and she suddenly felt self conscious as her brain tried to think of something to say, but it seems rotem was quick to cover for her or at least draw the attention to him. Which honestly meri was so greatful for. Honestly it made her think about about getting someone who can act as her butler, since that would be epic.
But than again wouldn't that mean dealing with people? So maybe not. Her circle was small for a reason, and it's why she also loved pin and cey the robotic programs dead as she asked and didn't judge her for all her mess ups. Taking a moment to pay more attention as she walked, meri pulled her sleeve up.
The watch live device was recording data, and she would have to upload this data to the main system once home but at least they would be getting good information about blot cumalation though she would have to also get the ones from chaim and Brigitte beforw they left and that reminded her maybe she should have made that extra one when she was first making the first three since the data would have been amazing.
But could have, would have, she couldn't dwell on the past, nope, she needs to focus on the future and the things she has to do, after all the past has nothing to deal with her, what does is the now and the things ahead of her. Like the newest animes and grow a tree so large so big that she can reach to the heavens and knock those jerks that keep punishing her family for the sins of the past.
After all she was the heroine of her own story, and she will show all of twisted wonderland that Meri Shroud is someone to be praised for. Just thinking on it made her smile. And sure her dreams were childish but her father and mother said it was a good dream (even if her father was a tad pessimistic about it)
None the less she had much work to do and maybe this blot information could be used to get the plant to grow since she was also trying to test to see if plants can help purified blot and possibly help them grow, but that was still something she was testing with her mother's help.
Meri hummed wondering if her mom was still working on it since she was Mia. Though rotem did say her parents were putting a lot of effort to get her home so maybe not? That thought made her frowned and felt a bit guilty now.
But maybe they won't be mad at her if she apologized? But it's not like she did anything wrong. If anything it was mona's fault for giving them a fucked up grimrale.
Though speaking of the Octo-maid turning the corner to the last hall that leads to the second pair of stairs. Sure she had been zoning out but surly she wasn't that zone out that some how the other housewarden just appeared from no where. But what took her back the most was the marking across her face. A mark so large it covered half of her face.
Glancing to the male beside her and than to who at first meri had thought was mona's men, but they weren't like those two. The twins that were behind mona sent chills down her spin. As if something evil lerked behind those eyes and smiles.
And not ingoring the alarms that had started ringing in her hear meri did what she could and hid behind brigtte as she begin digging into her bag. And she was so glad that she wasn't the only one who sence somthing off since the four spoty extrovert seemed to quickly go into a postion that meri knew they were ready for a fight.
Though from her slightly hidden spot she could hear a laughter and peeked to see the housewarden walked towards them as her lacky didn't even turn as he was watching the evil twins.
"Their is no need to be afraid, though I must admit you seem to have catch at a poor time, though it can't fully be helped since you are rather late, that I had to go and deal with things for you." Looking behind her she turned back to the twins behind her.
"You can leave, and I hope you enjoy the fun you will have." The evil twins seemed to linger and it seemed Mona got her main lucky to get rid of them which somehow took a while and meri found herself glad she didn't start the count down yet cause they would have missed it had she done so.
Meri open her mouth to speak and than closed it, she wanted to ask but how does one even begin to ask? Like really what the heck happened? Like this was all to nuts for her to fully understand what the hell was going on.
But it seemed that Mona herself decided to speak. "We need to hurry, the sharks are smelling blood and were just injured fish. And I'm not talking about the one I control." Mona quickly turned but it seems the savanaclaw vice wasn't going to let it drop. As meri followed (still hiding behind brigtte though)
"What did you do?!" The tone was accusatory as the all followed.
The woman leading clicked her tounge. "Nothing. ... well besides helping you all out, if not for my intervening you would have delt with my father's men. And unlike mine, they arent on a tight leash."
Hearing that meri frowned, that in no way sounded good. Like the twins were already a bit insane, but if their tames compared to the ones they just meet? A cold chill went down her spin. And maybe it wasn't a good idea to think of.
Honestly what was up with this year where everyone was super insane? It was quite ridiculous, and you think they would have realized it, but they had done their best to avoid anyone who knew of their parents on a slightly more personal level as well as each other's parents.
Students, teachers anyone, which might sound easy. Hadnt been from time to time. But they had manged, at least till rotem decided to come running in like a mini boss and screw shit up.
But nothing can be done about that. Sighing she pulled pin and asked him to go check on thing ahead though the little guy shifted about in her hand and indicated his low battery. Which was still bother some and she rather not send cey since he wasn't built for stealth. Not to say he didn't try but the little guy stuggled.
Honest the little one was sort of cute in a way, but the fact still stands does she still risk sending the little guy? She already lost a drone from before and she already drain the power of the function one to use on charging cey who is her top priority given he was currently hosting an experiment inside his round belly. So if she sent him out she could lose the data she's been collecting and that wasn't something she really wanted. Any risk must be done with the data in mind.
Sighing she decided to just follow everyone and hoped they don't meet anyone on the way, since that seemed to be the only way to go, but she was than reminded how she hated stairs while following everyone up.
Mona explain that we drew her father's attention, and how her father always being one to look for.a way to get a heads up sent the twins to investigate for him. And had she not step in they would have to most likely try to fight them off.
And maybe if meri was the type the shade of being weak would have offended her, but she wasn't the brut type, and was just someone who rather relax and chill, the most enagentic thing she does is riding her bike, and while a sport, she is also sitting so not to much engery is used unless she is turning the bike and to keep it steady.
Though that also bought up her bike, she hasn't been able to give it maintenance since she's been here, and she could only hope it didn't lock. Fuck its going to.suck if it did.
Though the fact that she was suddenly thinking of her bike must mean that it was slowly staying to register that they were going home, no more having to.scan things and try to test theories of ways home no more using spells to hide her appearance, no more sharing a bed with anyone and feeling like a third wheel. No more feeling lonely in the middle of the night.
Just thinking of everything felt as if a weight that had been on her this whole time suddenly felt so much lighter, bearable like the tension she had in the middle of a race and she was on the last round so close to the finish line, and about to win. But than again she shouldn't let her guard down since one can screw up at the finish line.
Thus why she went and grab brigtte's shit clinging to it like a child, which she won't admit to though, chaim seemed to notice and jerk gave her snacks like she was a child! .... she did begin eatting them because they were the limited edition snacks that they stop making since the company went bankrupt when she was like five.
Honestly these snacks are so good and super amazing, she had to talk to her dad to see if they could remake them.... or talk to Mona to see if she could do so, and since she would be getting money from it maybe she could at least get them free? She'll think about it later.
The rest of the trip seemed tame compared to everything and blah blah blah expansion everyone but me (fucken sucks) brigtte, savanaclaw vice warden (what was her name again?), and mona (though her lacky seemed to not enjoy that fact) would go the portal first while the four if us didn't till the program was in its last moment and begin to erase peoples memories and they would jump in.
Honestly it was all bull shit. But than again she was the only one who knew what she was doing and was already typing away as she listen to everyone just talk about crap she didn't care. Normies are just so not worth listing to, which is why she wasn't caring at the moment and brig wasn't a big talker, and that made her such a good friend.
Though it's not like she is saying not talking was a good thing. What she means is that it depends on the how the talking is, after all chaim isa but of a talker, and he was one of her friends, he just wasn't annoying about it and didn't force her to do stuff unless she wanted to, but he would bring her stuff from outing same with brig who also bring her stuff. Which honestly she greatly appreciated.
And hey sometimes she had to see it out in the wild herself so she would go out and it was always fun (and they would bring a flying carpet so she wouldn't have to walk to much which is always a bones.
Putting all that aside she finished up the last bit she had to do and hit the send button allowing the command to go though, her uncle most likely got the alert and but he will have other problems to.keep him occupied till the last count down and than her program will self delete and it'll be like the last fourty eight hours didn't happen and all was normal with the world.
Sighing. Meri looked around again before.back at her computer it wouldn't be long she just hoped time went by fast other wise this was all going to really suck. But here's hoping.

Chapter four
Brigitte jumped and rolled to the side avoiding some roots that came from under ground and seemed to wrap the vice warden in its clutches.
The extra Duhbree was also something that she didn't want to get in her eyes. Honestly if she had more time to think about it she might have been more shocked, but since she was in the middle of something it would be thought of later.
Glancing to chaim than back to rotom than back to her friend the both shared a nod. And she reached out to summon her staff again having swapped it for the batane normal members of her dorm used. She did prefer it since it was easier to us when fighting since it was more sowrd like.
But the staff would be of use again as she and chaim seemed to do another much larger blast of water magic. In which she than ran closer to the captured male. And while she didn't have the same power as her dad she could still control a bit of lighting and jumping onto the roots.
"Forgive me" she really hoped he could as she grab his face before using her magic to send lighting though him. And hearing him yelling made a knot form in her stomach, but she knew this had to be done.
He was screaming but she needed to hold it till it seemed everything was done. That didn't make it easier though, if only she had her dad's unique magic this would a quicker process rather than what she had to train to use. After what felt like much to long it seemed a black mist seemed to appear and Brigitte stopped.
Rotem seemed yo be slumped and she quickly checked to see if he had a pulse it was faint but there and she was so greatful to not have killed him. Again her stomch twisted at the thought. But she didn't so she shouldn't think to much on it.
Since he wasn't going anywhere she begin looking for the black crystal that appears soon after an over blot though they didn't have the box to put it in, she deel with the negative effects till she can give it to meri.
Hoping down from the roots since she did have to somewhat jump onto them to reach rotem's head. And looking to chaim who seemed to already looking for it.
"Did you find it?" Brigitte found herself looking at the roots again reminded about asking meri about this. Maybe she could cut them? Or the other could lossen the grip so they could get the elder out of the roots?
"Not yet! But it has to be around here since this was the general area where the blot creature was." Glancing back at her friend she hoped it would just appear.
As she moved to get on her knees the plants seemed to tremble and it seemed she wasn't the only one who felt it and the sounds of a familiar being before Irfan came flying though the trees.
It seemed they headmage has made an appearance, rather late of you ask her, but she wouldn't push and just went to grab rotem as the roots begin to let him go, and chaim spotted the stone before moving to help her as they carried the male to the trees that seemed to be in the middle of desolving. And they would see meri on the ground seeming sort of out of it.
"I've got him." She would struggle with rotem's hight but with her fae blood she should be able to handle the male. But someone would need to help meri and chaim should be able to handle her.
"You sure?" He seemed worried for but she didn't want to leave a friend behind.
"Yeah, please help meri." After a moment of shuffling she found herself holding rotem and chaim went for meri. Greatful for again for fae blood that made her stronger than a normal girl she matched forward. And while she really should be paying attention to what the headmage was saying, because it was bound to be important she honestly was to busy in her own thoughts to really care.
But she did pick up a few things he said like the trees disappearing was his doing and not meri's. And that their was going to be a meeting between them and the housewardens. Which honestly she wasn't looking forward because she sort of yelled at her uncle for laughing at her when she told him her dreams, and while she realized after it wasn't in a mean way, she still feels slightly ashamed at blowing up.
And sure she had apologize and he forgave her, brigtte could still feel the embarrassment of how stupid she must have looked, like she really still wants to hide under a blanket and never come out. But than again he wouldn't know... though she did so the urge to hide wouldn't go away and its not like he would look any different since unlike her pure faes don't change much in what? Twenty - thirty ish years?
A drop in the hat for long living creatures such as pure blooded fae, but for humans and mix blood such as herself not so much. Years hit by faster and harder than most. Even looking at her own family she could see the stark difference.
She just hoped she could live long enough to make her family proud of her. But perhaps that should be something she should put a pin in. After all the first thing first would be to get home in the first place.
And hopefully once home she could talk to her family about these thoughts that were bought to the surface the moment she and her friends fell into the past. Like this time makes everyone thing dark thoughts infecting one minds. But the best thing to do about that is to talk to people you love and see someone whose job it is to hear you out.
Actually everyone should given how it seemed to affect all of them, perhaps she will bring it up later? But then again maybe she should be paying attention since she seemed to have gotten in lost in her own thoughts.
Blinking back to reality she shook her head trying to figure out what was being talking about. Only to jump as she feels a small nudge and looks at rotem who was looking at her. "Oh!"
Brigitte was about to say more only was cut off by the male who spoke up.
"Their talking about getting us all medical attention before hosting a house warden meeting, though I must admit I am glad chaim manged to convince the headmage not to make it a house and vice warden meeting." The male looked away ashamed of himself.
Brigitte sigh softly. "I see.... and how are you feeling? I... I'm sorry I had to electrocut you."
"Its fine though you should get your ankle wrap since I know you'll pertented it didn't happen." Brigitte frowned. After all he was right. But still she didn't want to be called out.
"Only if you promise to provide some answers on how you overbloted since you are always so careful with yourself and chaim, I doubt you would willing allow yourself to screw up like that."
Brigitte found herself waiting for his response as she realized they were in fact heading to the nurses office. And the head mage seemed to continue with what ever rant he was going on about. Honestly he did enjoy the sound of his voice didn't he?
"Fine, but it would be best to wait till I'm rested."
"I'll hold you to it." Brigitte smiled glad to hear that. She could hear and feelt rotem give a weak chuckle.
"I'm not surprised... about that." And for a moment he went quiet and his weight increased and qoruter fae felt a joilt go up her spine at the sudden weight that seemed to aggravate her ankle.
Honestly she should rest it, but not yet, first she'll put rotem down on a bed and than mention it to the others so they can help her convince rotem to keep his own words. And than and only then will she sit down to tend to herself. After all she refused to let her friends suffer if she can help it, and a bit of pain never really hurt anyone... well sort of.

Chapter six
Rotem got up his alarm having gone off and he looked around to turn it off. Though after a moment he frowned since when did his bag get here? But a bit more looking to turn it off he found not his phone but something else.
His muddy brain confused as he looked at it and looked up to see how dark it has gotten. After a moment it clicked and he suddenly felt like he had a bucket drop on him.
Shooting out of bed he darted to the door of the nurses office. He need to get back to the room with the portal ans quickly. If he didn't report back they would assume that they died and close it causing them to be stuck here in the past.
Running he quickly try to recall the lay out if the school. Given he had been in the nurses office the quickest way should be down three flights of stairs across a the long hall way than back up three, honestly he cursed the person who decided make halls not fully connected, because unless he wanted to blast a hole in the wall, he had to do this stupid up and down.
Though their was a way to make it shorter as he attempted to summon his sowrd and yet the normally easy magic didn't seem so easy. Almost as if their was a sort of blockage in his magic flow. But he couldn't let that stop him. As he ran for the stairs.
He stuck to the walls as he ran down them his hand going to.hover over the railing as he continued to try and summon his magic making it down to flights of stars before stopping. If he took a moment he might be able to speed this along. After all taking a small moment to take it slow can speed up the process later.
Thus taking deep breaths he closed his eyes and forced inwards. Trying to reach for the magic he knew he had. Deep breaths he did his best to look with in himself. Looking for that familair feeling under the haze of the blockage that seemed to hide his magic from him. Though once he felt the familar feel he reached out and pulled at that feeling wiggling and tugging till he knew he had it and open his eyes.
With a familiar yet almost long forgotten movement he summon a sowrd into his hands. It had long since forever since he stop making the motions, now so use to summoning it from thin air and than grabing it as it flew about. When he was younger her would always pull the blade out like taking it from his side as if taking it out of its shets.
To think it would help him after he overbloted. But than again it makes sense given the face he almost lost all.of his magic and soul, but he would push that thought to the side for now.
Placing the blade on the ground he attempted to make it float, which took a moment before he had it floating getting on it he was again reminded of when be first started figring out this spell of his something he had invented and worked hard on so that he could always find the path to justice and cut away the evil of this world.
And with a a deep breath he made the sowrd move. Racing the rest of the way, going much faster than he could run. This speed had taken years of his training to get and he felt a bit of wobble from his magic that took a moment to fix but he needed the speed.
Rotem's training, every thing he work for was to help. And while he has yet to get justice for his mother he could keep his promise to the girl his child self fell so deeply for and be the older sibling that chaim deserves.
And he can do that by keeping the boy safe, after all no mater what family should always help each other up and never pull them down. Right? Once he manged to get the the second stairs way he than begin going straight up moving past the stairs and down the hallway again hoping he would make it in time.
The turn was sharp and he actively did fall off the sword, but he rolled with it before grabing the blade that also had seemed to fallen, before darting off he could see the door and the idoit sleeping beside it and with a fluid motion he thew the sword at the door just next to the man and while it didn't do what he wanted, due to his arm still being sore it did end up hitting the man which seemed to wake the man with a start.
"Open the door!" Rotem watched as the man at least moved to open said door even if he looked disoriented. Something he would deal with later. And ran though it again noting the other idoit sleeping but again a later moment as he made his way to where the large glyph was st and yelled as loud as he could.
"Were alive! Don't shut down the pathway!" Rotem had grab hold of one of the tables and slammed it off to the side a make shift barrier someone must have done after he left in charge but at the moment it was in the way, though he did hear someone jump at the sound so it at least woke up some of the idoits who were meant to keep watch.
He waited his stomach turning, besides the sound if wind which came from the portal it was quiet, and he soon begin to fear he didn't make it only to sigh in realif when a familiar voice spoke up.
"Its good to hear from you. And it is much better than having to deal with certain other's..." rotem noted Henry's pause most likely he was judging the others he got stuck with for doing something.
"none the less does it mean you found the missing housewardens since you used 'we'? Or are you referring to you and your men?" Rotem could hear the slightly hopeful tone in his voice since he wasn't a stupid man, and maybe over the last two years he sort of saw chaim's friends as younger siblings like he normally saw chaim, so had begin to pick up on how his fellow thrid year had seemed to be soft for his fellow housewardens meri.
One would think he was just being nice as one would for someone younger than them that needed to be shown the way from someone who knew more. But given how many times rotem had seen the male go to many of the races, and even staring at her when he thought no one was looking he had a feeling the elder had more of a deep emotional relationship with his fellow housewarden. Though bit one sided. Give meri's own reactions to him.
"I did find them, though they are currently in the nurses office like I was at, for it seems that were in the year of blot." He stopped since he knew the others reactions would be something they needed to digest since as students of NRC. They knew very much about the year of blot.
What rotem hadn't expected was to be hit with yelling form Brigitte's dad. And felt pity for the others in the room with him. But at least he wasn't there so he was sure it wasn't as loud as it could have been.
"Mister zigvolt, if you would calm down I can explain, but Brigitte is alright. Just tried since it seems thats this time is trying to reject us, thus slowing us down and zapping our stamta faster than it normally would." He wasn't going to mention the magic but it seemed his fellow vice warden had other plans.
"That would be the least of their problems, and given the fact this portal needs magic to keep it open other wise it'll close, I'm betting that it is also zapping magic and possibly since it is the year of blot causing other issues as well."
Rotem could imagen the beast women humming as seemed to be pondering every possibility this could lead to, her tail slightly waving behind her. all the while her ears twitched in thought. He also could see her ocean blue eyes narrowed as she glared down at the ground eyes only flickering upwards when she would most likely thought of things that she had a hunch on, but wanted confirmation on.
Though if he recalled should she be on second shift? After all Brigitte's father was there it meant that the first shift was in charge and the second shift should be resting. Though that was quickly answered as well.
"You saying there is a possibility of overblot?" Hearing the house warden of savanaclaw even of not there in person made a bit of envy fill him.
"Not just saying, Rotem is a punctual man, and I trust his ability to get things done with in reason, from the two years we have been vice warden together I've got to known him well enough to know his way of doing things and had their been no issue this wouldn't be the first time we'll be hearing from him, but it is."
Coughing a rather fake one, to grab there attention a part of him wanted to lie and make something up, but it would only cause problems if he did not to.mention he needed to most likely get help with his magic which felt wrong tainted by the overblot.
"I did run into trouble and it would be best to talk to the headmage as well as a few professionals once we return, but we might have to put off leaving right away fo-" Rotem was cut off by more yelling from Brigitte's dad. Honestly did that man not have a volume control?
"Mister zigvolt, please calm down, we will be leaving but at the moment everyone is resting and it seems. I also need to deal with the help i originally bought since they seem to have fallen asleep." Just thinking about his men falling asleep annoyed him. But that was a later issue. At least till after discussing with the others on the other side of the portal.
A portal that would be their only shot back home, again the thought of being stuck here twisted his stomach. "I also think it would be best to have housewarden meri use her connections to erase everyone's memories before we leave.
No one said anything form a long moment before, a moment that unsettled him to be honest since he suddenly felt like a small child about to be scolded by his parents. And while not by his parents he did hear a scolding housewarden of pomefiore. Which honestly they were the same age, why did he have to get scolded? But than it was sort of deserved.
Not that he was going to fully take it laying down, he was at least going to defend himself. "Henry." He drop the title as a way to show that they were on the same standing ground. "You can say what ever it is you wish to say when I return, but right now I'm the one in charge of this mission, and while their has been problems I will handle it, and while I can't just snap my fingers and make people forget I can use what have to do so, and it happens meri still is a shroud, with connections that allow her certain privileges."
Rotem waited for anyone else to say anything, what he hadn't expected was to.feel the ground shake under his feet and the portal to glow and out came a familiar figure and despite her landing on her feet she seemed to wobble.
Not want to stand around rotem ran over before the figure fell to the ground, rotem pulled her to him as to steady her. Since the portal trip was rather disorienting "Are you ok?"
He let her pull away as she nodded. "I feel like I need to sit down.... though thank you for keeping me stable." Rotem pushed away the urge to want be beside her to touch her as eyes that had a shine and sparkle that made him long for them.
His first love had eyes as red as rubies and his second as blue as sapphires. But he knew he couldn't have her, after all imani had someone else, she was in love with. and as much as he wish to be beside her, he was not one to get in the way of her happiness.
So he would just enjoy the time they spent together till they left school, and hopefully all would be good. Pushing away any other thoughts rub the back of his neck. "I'm guessing you have a plain?"
A chuckle left the beastwoman as she scan the room for a a moment. "You should know me better than that by now."
Rotem smiled softly. "But of course." Hopefully he doesn't slow her down, after all the lioness was not want to slow down for others, especially when she had a goal in mind, and he wasn't going to let her down.

Chapter five
Chaim was currently being bandage up he was the only one awake, and he did have the less amount of injuries. So it was fair.
Looking back to the other three. Rotem was going to have to deal problems for over blot, meri is going to need to deal with magic depletion, and Brigitte was just tried from over working. And he well he was tried but Brigitte had been keeping most of rotem's attention during the fight.
He soon found his eyes looking down at his hand. His glove had ripped to shreds sometime during the fight and given his emotion state he hated it. Honestly he wish he had kept them on and maybe they wouldn't have gotten destroyed? Sighing he found his leg bouncing. And took his coat off the near by table. His hands fiddling with it in case he lost control with out realizing it.
He was glad that the people rotem bought were quick to listen and went off to get rotem's bag where the other was bound to keep extra gloves for him. Which normally he found annoying since he hated to being baby-ed but at the moment it was fine.
Sighing and running a hand though his hair, he still found himself trying to digest everything they had all talked about.
Rotem even woke up for a bit to add his own input before passing out again. And meri spilled out some things she's been researching on the side, of trying to get them home. And both him and Brigitte noted their sluggish and heavy feeling.
All in all it was a lot. But what it all boils down to was that the world was trying to eject them from it. Thus the increase of blot cumalation, and feeling like their weight and speed has been made to suffer, and any and all negative emotions had been turn up to a hundred.
Sighing he heard the nurse tell him that he was done and wish him good night. In which he responded back and reached for his shirt swapping playing with the coat with trying to clothed himself.
Having used a spell to fix and clean it earlier so it didn't look like he just finished rolling out of a ditch. Chiam was at least partly greatful that at least the cuts he got were rather shallow.... well shallow enough not to need stitches anyway. But that still meant he needed to be careful, since it would suck for them to get infected.
His hands working on auto polit while lost in though buttoning up the shirt, putting on clothing was something everyone did, but in his unease state it was also a risky problem, not to say someone of his wealth couldn't afford clothes made of gold, just his signature spell isn't something he liked showing off to people. And only spoke about to people who he trusted. So he didn't like to use the excuse of it being his normal style, when it wasn't.
Sighing again he went and grab his jacket again thinking of putting it on or not when the doors slam open causing him to jump Irfan who had been sleeping in a makeshift cage by the door squawks having been woken up.
Turning to the door he threw the coat that he knew would have been turning gold under one of the beds before wipping over to see who would slam there way inside the nurse's room.
Though he was rather surprised to see his father in the door frame. After all they were going to see each other at the meeting once they've all recovered enough to have it and he really wanted the time to get ready to meet the younger versions of those they were use too. Mostly so they (or rather him and rotem) could remain calm.
Sadly his father was more... him than the him he knows now, or rather the man he will become. Was rambling about unnecessary things, but he listened as his father seemed excited to express his thanks to them for saving him and Mr viper which honestly he didn't care.
And maybe a small part of him sort of agreed with rotem, especially since during their talk rotem admit the reason behind his hatred for his uncle and Brigitte used her signature spell to allow them to see and honestly his gut twisted recalling and seeing the image from a much younger rotem perspective, watching his mother pushed off the side of the stars and falling onto wooden spikes.
Honestly who wouldn't be angry at such a thing? Even now he still feels anger for the men who had a hands killing his sister, and he to longs for justice for the lost of her. He was again reminded of his mother's words. As he looked and really looked at the person who smiled and spoke in a way that chaim could not ever recall his father speaking to him before.
But than again his father seemed to have no real time for him and he never truly had any time to spend with his father alone always would his half siblings join them even when he asked for his birthday one year to spend time alone with his father, rathwr their was a grand party and every time he had try to speak to his father people would be in the way for most of the night.
What had hurt the most is when he manged to speak to his father he didn't seem to recall his name, saying at least ten different names that wasn't his own before chaim weakly reminded the male who he was. And while the time it hadnt really clicked, but his father was drunk. Meaning that at the end of the day his fathers true feeling about him were nothing.
Closing his eyes trying to push the emotions that seemed to be mixing in him though. This place really did seem to make one think about the darkness in ones heart, that normally he buried deep with in. The ones he left behind in all his escapes from the mansion, to be free from the pain, to help those who need help, to actually see families who have little, working and doing what they can for others, a world so much more different than his own.
Though lost in thought and ingoing his father he spoke chaim found himself picking up a set of lines and whipped his eyes open and his expression darken the fists tightened.
"I think, it would be best you left, and take everything you bought with you." His words came at snippy but he cared not. His father looked at him confused before expressing said confusion. And honestly rotem found himself annoyed. But too a deep calming breath.
"To put it simply, while you care deeply for just your retainer. I care for all my people and I will stand up to those who will do baseless slander. While rotem wasn't fully right for his actions he will be taking responsibility for them. And give his reason it was understandable. But that might be more than you will ever care to understand. None the less I think it would be wise we did not see each other till the housewarden meeting."
Summoning his staff and grabbing it tightly he could feel his magic changing the staff to its golden color. And already he knew he would have to replace some parts again but it's fine its not like it would be the first time. But that wasn't important right now as he willed his magic to blast them out though it seemed mr viper was quick to protect his father.
Not like it would hurt since it was just a breeze to blow them back, none the less it annoyed him. He than tap the staff on the ground. "Leave. Now." Standing tall he glared down at the both males, while not that much shorter than himself were still smaller as he looked down at the both of them. Glaring darkly as if looking at those he found beanth him.
A look he picked up from his mother when she was dealing with the servant and the concubine she thought weren't her time. Ans normally he would hate to mimic such a look, at the moment it seemed quite the fitting way to get out those who dare disrespect one of his people. And it seemed it did its job as mister viper ushered his father out of the nurses office.
Not one to trust those who already show disrespect he used a bit of.magic to open Irfan's cage the bird quickly flew out and onto of its cage waiting for the order it new it would get.
"Follow them." A simple command but one that was easy to understand. And one that didn't need to speak twice as his familar took off out the door to follow the past versions of his father and mister viper.
Though the moment he did so chaim let out another sigh and walked over to the door closing it with his foot willing the staff away and plopped himself back on the chair pinching the bridge of his nose.
He needed to relax taking a moment to look at his hands he could still feel the feeling of his magic working ready to be used on anything he touched bare handed. A blessing that it didn't effect him. But also a pain because it sometimes took him a bit longer to realize it was out of his control due to it.
Running said hand though his hair it stay perfectly the same beside the split moment it would shimmer before not changing. As if the contact with the spell under his skin was trying figure out how to react before not actively working.
Another sigh, and chaim decided he should maybe start mediation, he learned from a few street performers on the best way to do so, and at the moment it should help him realx if only a little after all he would need a bit before Irfan return and hopefully the men that came with rotem would be here soon. So with that in mind he begin getting ready to clear his mind and relax.
While he did this chaim was unaware of what his familar would expose to his father and rotem's uncle. That it would be a cruel flash of what is to come to them and what shaped chaim and rotem to who they were.
