Another late entry to the windmillshed! (I’m awful at this aren’t I?) But! I have a legit reason in being ridiculously late for this entry! I’m off to Germany for Gamescom and helping out Grimm Bros with their booth so I’ve been running around trying to prep for that! I’m probably also speaking for almostdailymichael​ since he’s in the process of big things too. 

In a way I’ve done the opposite to frayed-symphony by redrawing a digital work into traditional. Haven’t managed to colour the scarf but hopefully I’ve improved somewhat. I tried to replicate the thick outlines and shading style but mmeafhklasfjk. Anyhoo! Crit is always welcome! I think Yu’s neck is still a bit weird in the redraw but I hope there’s been some kind of improvement.

So yeh! What does this mean!? The Windmill Shed is on a mini hiatus until our lives have stabilised basically XD. Don’t worry though! We’ve already talked through our next theme! Be on the look out for it and thanks for the support o/!

And while I’m on the late-submission-to-the- windmillshed wagon…!

The theme was ‘copy or re-interpret a piece of work by one of your favourite artists’. Well then. Mr. Scruff is definitely one of my fave artist both in a music and graphic sense. So I’ve drawn the current members of the windmill shed as potato people.

I do say, there’s not enough tea and bass in the world. -tips top hat and sips tea-

Another super late yet slightly different contribution to the windmillshed! Things are a bit hectic down my end - work, performance rehearsals, building works happening outside my window, the funky weather. Lots of fun! The old theme was ‘Creepy’ which was a theme I picked.

For some reason this version didn’t include a lot of detail I spent a while working on (¬ ¬;;) but oh well. I may work on this theme more.

Practicing drawing in another artist's style - kaze-hime. Wish I had more time to try and imitate her colouring as well but I'm just too busy.

Tbh it's not super diff from my own style. Always looked up to her and she was a huge inspiration for me about 10 years back.

This weeks theme: Copy or re-interpret a piece of work by one of your favourite artists.

Giving the theme slightly early this week due to us all being away over the weekend and thus wont have a chance to write it and will probably end up forgetting. It also gives us all a chance to think about it. Just as a side note I have changed the design a bit. The previous design was only temporary until I found a better template anyway ('cause I spent hours designing it originally and had to finally call it quits). The new layout is quite good as the comments are move visible (it shows underneath each post how many, if any, comments it has received). I stole the design from http://snnns.tumblr.com/ tumblr which is rather good. I have also added an 'about us' page, which currently only has links to our individual tumblr pages. I'm wanting to expand this section so that we each give a description about ourselves.

Submission for the theme creepy on the windmill shed tumblr. I wish I had more time to work on this idea as I really enjoyed drawing this. I did draw another one, however it didn’t turn out anywhere near as good as this one did. Once I get time I shall expand on this concept.

Pokemon girls! My favorite Pokemon, Dragonite. For once me tagging this as Pokemon is accurate enough that it's correct, but not close enough to actually be a Pokemon.

RIGHT. Since Mike cheated on this week's theme of the Windmill shed, here's my fantart of his game. MAKE OF IT WHAT YOU WILL.

My other idea was to do some yaoi with the bunny and frog character because internet and fandom stereotypes but I've got a con and a panel session to do prepare for in a few hours so I couldn't be bothered to do anything even more complicated. ENJOY MIKE! ;P
