I have so many favourites, but ill give a couple of origin stories lmao. MCR came from both searching my (actual) name up online and then getting angry at someone and hearing I'm Not Okay (I Promise). Iron Maiden and Frank Turner came from my dad, Elliott Smith came from hearing Between the Bars and being so entranced that I had to discover the rest of his music, and Heatmiser came from Elliott Smith!
