This is something I've always been curious about, especially with seeing all the different interpretations other people have when it comes to their Musa art or redesign. I'm curious to hear what you all think!

Since the result from my latest poll was a yes towards making character sheets for my Winx Club redesign/rewrites, does anyone have any suggestions for what basic information I should include in them(and/or if I should add mini bios)? And for a visual, do you guys think I should make character-moodboards, or draw little portraits for them(to also kind of show off my redesign ideas)?

Suggestions/opinions about either one can be sent as a reply to this post or as an ask to the blog!

I say for my "redesigns" as I don't know yet/or think I will do a full-on "rewrite" for this series. Though as that is, I do have some rewrite/rework ideas for this series, so these could still be a thing I do, especially to better set up some of the ideas I didn't previously expand too much on!

Finally for the last of The Trix's kids, we have Selina/Jay's kids! Theirs are the most recently sketched, as I did them early last week. I honestly had the most fun drawing these two, I think they both came out super cute! Not much has changed besides little details to fit my current style, but I decided to give Noah some piercings(just for fun) and give Gwen a more 'soft grunge' kind of casual fashion sense.

- Noah: 16 years old, son and oldest child of Selina and Jay. Citizen of Gardenia, Earth, and Wizard of Reptiles. Tallish height, lanky yet toned build, short and straight light olive-blonde hair parted to the side, gray eyes, fair skin, freckles across the nose, eyeliner, and ear piercings(single lobes + left cartilage/helix). Though Selina did give up her evil ways for a simpler life in Gardenia, she did not give up being a witch and continued to practice all of what she learned in both the Magical Dimension and Earth. After getting together with Jay and settling down with him, she made sure to teach her children all she knew and show them different sides to all forms of magic. Quite a precocious and intelligent young man, Noah took to her teachings greatly and is always curious to learn more. Rather typical studying, his curiosity manifests more in the forms of exploration and adventure, which is why he was so excited to find his magical core and get the chance to attend Wolfsbane Prep in the Magical Dimension. A sarcastic, cheeky, and witty young man, he is someone who acts like an unserious know-it-all with a love for playful competition, but he is a genuine friendly person who just wants to have a good time with others. Although he's not particularly interested in being evil or focusing solely on dark magic, he joined Nicholas "Neo Trix" group mainly for the thrill of adventure and going up against different magi groups in battle.

- Gwen: 13 years old, daughter and youngest child of Selina and Jay. Citizen of Gardenia, Earth, and Witch of Insects. Short height, soft and round build, slightly pas chin-length and slightly wavy light brown hair, light brown eyes, pale skin, and freckles across the nose and joints. All her life so far Gwen has seemed to have been plagued by bad luck. She always tends to find herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, and combined with her natural connection with insects, many of her peers tend to avoid her. What doesn't help is that she is naturally pretty shy, meek, and insecure, further adding to her being a loner. She is simultaneously someone who wants to prove herself as worthy of attention and one who wants to blend in to avoid further trouble, with her being quiet and observant to navigate these goals. She is very close to her older brother, finding him to be one of the only people who understands her, and appreciates his gestures to cheer her up such as his bad jokes. As she recently discovered her magic core, she is both excited and anxious to start her witch training, as she hopes to get a fresh start at Cloud Tower in a couple of years. Though she had limited experience in the Magical Dimension before, she had the recent fortune of getting to attend a witch training camp, where she met and gained a big crush on Lara.

Similar to the Icy/Darko kids, this drawing was originally started a year ago, but I never got around to drawing Gale's hair or their outfits till recently. But, these two are Stormy's kids! As you may or may not remember, their father is not a canon character, but rather an OC. I never designed him before though, but he wouldn't have much prominence in their lives as he and Stormy separated after Rain's birth. Not too much has changed about these guys other than slightly more details in my current style, though I wanted to change Gale's hair. I was stuck for so long on what I wanted to do with it, but I finally settled on him keeping the same bangs while putting the rest of his hair up.

- Gale: 15 years old, son and oldest child of Stormy. Citizen of Whisperia, and Wizard of Thunder. Tallish height, athletic figure leaning to slightly muscular, very curly, dark brown hair with medium brown bangs and often put up, dark teal eyes, light brown skin, and freckles primarily on the face. After forging her own path from her sisters, Stormy in time met a wizard with the same kind of brash energy as her, but with enough differences that charmed her and had her coming back to him more often than she cared to admit in the beginning. It took a long time, but eventually they were able to form an official relationship together, partially influenced from the arrival of their son. They never got married however, and after several years and the arrival of their daughter, they decided to separate with how distant they had become with each other. Gale was always much closer to his mother as a child, as his father was mostly uninvolved in his life before completely leaving. He greatly admires Stormy's powers and tales from her evil witch days, gladly accepting Nicholas' offer to become a part of his "Neo Trix" group he created. A hot-headed and easily angered young man, making battles with him quite unpredictable with the turn-out. While he may come off as very abrasive at times, he is also someone who desires positive relationships, and can be very loyal to those who gain his trust. With his magic core being of thunder, he has a naturally loud and booming tone of voice, though he has rare moments of going completely speechless when flustered enough.

- Rain: 8 years old, daughter and youngest child of Stormy. Citizen of Whisperia, with no signs of possible magic at the moment. Short height, average build, long and super curly orchid-purple hair often put in pigtails or twin-braids, light green eyes, light brown skin, and freckles all-over her body. As her parents separated soon after her birth, and her father left the family, naturally she only bonded with her mother and older brother. She has met her father only a few times, though feels a resentment towards him as he is in her and her brother's life very little and only sees them a couple of times a year. A rather grumpy and almost cold little girl, who does not have many friends her age as she gets into fights and arguments easily. Not that she minds a whole lot, as she would rather prefer playing with her dolls alone. Although not particularly evil, she does have a skill in manipulation as she can get people to do things for her easily, with them not realizing she tricked them until after the fact. She has not shown any signs of possible magic yet, though she is torn between wanting to be a witch like her mom, or a fairy like her paternal grandma.

I've had this sitting in my drafts for little over a year now 😭 But, I wanted to wait until I finished all of The Trix's kids' revamps, and I finally got around to it recently!

These two are Icy and Darko's kids, Nicholas and Juniper! It was an interesting challenge trying to translate Nick's hair into my current style, but I think I did pretty alright! For June, I wanted to explore her gothic fashion taste a little here, with her outfit being based on one I found before(but don't remember if I saved).

- Nicholas "Nick": 17 years old, son and oldest child of Icy and Darko. Citizen of Whisperia, and Wizard of Blizzards. Tallish height, average yet toned build, straight silver hair that falls slightly past the ears and usually pushed back, dark blue eyes, pale skin, and a mole on left cheek. While The Trix all eventually split up and broke away from their former villainous ways, a part of Icy still wanted to keep her villainous reputation alive. After reconnecting with Darko and eventually settling down with him, she took interest in his family's mafia organization to join him in running it, finding a new villainous "calling" with it as she eventually took more of the reigns. As the oldest child, Nicholas was raised to follow in their footsteps, with him taking after his mother the most. Aside from her looks, he has inherited her cunningness and leadership abilities, and became inspired from her youth to create and lead the "Neo Trix". A cold and ruthless young man for the most part, who is also very intelligent and a smooth-talker, knowing his way with both words and people. Although he has big goals of leading an infamous villain group like his mother before him, he is not all that mean or particularly malicious, as he simply makes no time to acknowledge those he thinks can't serve him in some way.

- Juniper "June": 14 years old, daughter and youngest child of Icy and Darko. Citizen of Whisperia, and Fairy of Glaciers. Short height, slim and petite build, long and straight black hair, icy blue eyes, fair skin, mole on right cheek, dark makeup, and ears pierced. As the only daughter, Icy had great dreams for Juniper to become a powerful witch just like herself one day, so it came to her biggest shock and dismay when her recently discovered magic core revealed her to be a fairy. Believing her daughter to be nothing more than a disappointment, she has started subtly mentally abusing her outside of wanting nothing to do with her anymore. June tries to put on a brave face and act independent from her mother's control, but deep down she is very emotional and has developed a mild depression, her already bad insecurities becoming worse. On her own, she is a generally cold, distrusting, and stubborn girl, having a hard time admitting her true feelings or opening up to others. She is more of a 'lone wolf' type, as she would spend time alone then allow herself to get close to people who could hurt her. Although a part of her still deeply wishes she could have Icy's approval, she has started wanting to forge her own path in life, starting with training to attend a fairy academy like Alfea in the upcoming years.

I know it's been several months since the last time I worked on or mentioned this, but I'll finally be getting back to the main universe revamps soon!!! 😭 I just haven't been all that focused on Winx Club lately(not to mention I had very little creative time for all of the fall too), but I finally got all of the kids of The Trix sketched! I still need to write their bios, but hopefully those will be out soon!

I'll probably still go ahead with writing the bios first/sketching later for the rest of the characters, but we'll see!

If any of you remember this poll I made back in August, I posed the question of opening Winx Club-related commissions, and the majority of the results leaned towards a yes/maybe! I was pretty busy during the fall and had little drawing time to open them till now, but my schedule has finally opened up to allow time for art, so they are finally open! :D

My prices + a few art examples are below! :) I take PayPal USD only at the moment and slots are limited to 1 commission per person at a time, but you are more than welcome to let me know of any other commissions you want if you have multiple ideas! Musa x Darcy?

Yess, I'd love to answer for those babes!

shops for groceries: I feel Darcy probably would, as she generally does a lot of shopping/hunting for potion and witchcraft supplies, so would probably do the same with normal groceries. Musa also seems like more of the type that would stock-pile on junk food and easy recipes, especially if she is spending an all-nighter working on music.

kills the spiders: Musa most often, as Darcy is more used to spiders and would probably leave them alone.

comes home drunk at 3am: Musa, especially if she is drinking at an after-party for one of her own gigs or other concerts she goes to.

makes breakfast: Again, I want to say perhaps Darcy? At least in terms of more big and fulfilling breakfasts.

remembers to feed the fish: I don't think they would have fish, but if they have different pets it could be either one, perhaps Darcy as she had/has familiars.

decorates the apartment: Both, as Musa would add a lot of music and punk aesthetics into her decorating skills, and Darcy would add more of her own mystic and witchy flair to their place.

initiates duets: Always Musa as she's a singer and the Fairy of Music, but Darcy would gladly join in with her.

falls asleep first: Both seem like the type that would stay up pretty late, but would probably go to bed around the same time or whenever the other suggests it.

shops for groceries: I can see Layla having more control over the grocery ordering, just so she has healthy foods stocked up in the palace.

kills the spiders: I would say maybe Nabu, who would either physically or use magic to remove any spiders they come across.

comes home drunk at 3am: I'm not too sure on this one, but I kind of feel right now that either they would both be out getting drunk together, or would do so at home.

makes breakfast: I feel like either Nabu or they would collab on making breakfast.

remembers to feed the fish: Layla, as I can see the Androsian palace having their own giant aquarium, so she would be most used to making sure the fish are fed.

decorates the apartment: I feel both would decorate the Androsian palace together, perhaps Nabu takes a little more of the lead but Layla does put a lot of her input into the decorating.

initiates duets: Nabu, though Layla joins in quickly and turns the duet into a dance together as well.

falls asleep first: I would say probably Layla, as she would get more tired at the end of the day and goes to bed first.

Stella x Brandon

Sure!

shops for groceries: Stella wouldn't as she's royalty, but I can see her supervising which groceries the Solarian palace receives as she would make sure they get only the best and healthiest ones. Though I can also see Brandon helping in the process, as he grew up cooking a lot with his family.

kills the spiders: Brandon absolutely, as Stella would try to get as far away from the spider as possible.

comes home drunk at 3am: I could honestly see both of them being the type to do that, as I can see them being that one couple that always gets tipsy and has a funny vibe when drunk.

makes breakfast: Possibly Brandon, as again I can see him haven grown up cooking a lot with and for his family. Plus, it would give him a chance to treat her to breakfast in bed~

remembers to feed the fish: Neither, because they don't have fish and probably wouldn't have the time or patience for them compared to other pets.

decorates the apartment: Stella, as she has such an aesthetic vision for every occasion and holiday. Brandon tries to help, but he's a lot more modest and plain when it comes to decorating, so he leaves the design decisions to Stella and helps her set up.

initiates duets: Honestly, I can also see both initiating duets lol

falls asleep first: I would say probably Stella, as she values her beauty sleep.

Bloom x Sky

I don't ship Bloom and Sky personally, but I do work a little bit with them in my AU, so I'll answer these the best I can.

shops for groceries: Neither, since they have royal staff for that. Though Sky would probably make sure they have healthy groceries stocked up.

kills the spiders: I feel both would be disasters and cause a big mess trying to kill a spider. Sky with his swords, and Bloom with her dragon flame magic.

comes home drunk at 3am: I feel Bloom would be the most likely, only in the sense she would probably be the one who gets drunk more often at royal events and is more of a lives in the moment kind of person, compared to Sky who would try harder to keep up a proper reputation and appearance.

makes breakfast: Again, neither because they would have royal staff for that. I would say both would be disasters at making complex recipes though, as Sky never had any or much cooking experience as the crowned prince, and Bloom would probably accidentally set things on fire a lot.

remembers to feed the fish: I don't see them having fish, but they both would remember to feed their respective pets.

decorates the apartment: Bloom most definitely, as she is an artist and I see her getting back into art when she's an older adult.

initiates duets: I don't see them as the singing types most of the time, but probably Bloom as she was in a band with the rest of the Winx Club for a time, and she is a fan of musical-fantasy stories.

falls asleep first: I think both would probably stay up pretty late with their busy schedules and lives saving the Magic Dimension, but I would say probably Sky would go to bed first, as Bloom would make sure absolutely everything is okay before allowing herself to rest.

☀️ Aurora, (AU) daughter of Stella and Timmy, Witch of Sunbeams ☀️

Last but certainly not least for the main AU kids' fashion boards, we have the one for Aurora~! :D Her style was another one that was kind of difficult to figure out, mainly in that I wasn't sure whether to make her style more simple and academia-like, or a little fancier since her mom is Stella. I think I came up with a good balance between the two for her though, and I hope you enjoy!

. For Aurora, she has straight and dirty blonde hair that reaches just past her armpits, which she usually wears down or in simple styles, like braids or ponytails. She doesn't mind wearing makeup but usually only goes for full looks for royal events, with her everyday look mainly consisting of mascara, lip-gloss, and natural color eyeshadow if she chooses to wear it, but does go a little fancier with her nails. She has a couple of moles scattered across her body like her mom, but gets freckles only lightly during the summertime. For a physical detail I wanted to highlight, it would be that she has a need for glasses, with her main pair being white.

. For her color scheme, she sticks mainly with warm tones and neutrals, with yellows/golds and oranges being her favorite. Her fashion style leans more into an academic and studious style, but with a little more of 'stylish' flair and she likes to layer. Turtleneck sweaters, sweaters in general, chinos and dress pants, short dresses to layer over her shirts, fancy jumpsuits or rompers when going for a more 'cute' and fun look, and overalls. Usually wears solid colors, but doesn't mind plaid and some celestial motifs, and she does own a few fun-patterned dress shirts.

. For accessories, she does own many given she's Stella's daughter and a princess, but she usually wears them lightly on a daily basis. She does have her ears pierced, wearing mainly either diamond studs or gold mini hoops, but does have a few dangly crystal pairs she sometimes wears. Has a couple of gold bracelets and chain belts to cinch in some of her outfits, and owns a pretty fancy gold smartwatch that she wears almost all of the time. The main accessory I chose to give her here is some layered gold necklaces, all with a celestial motif to show pride in her Solarian heritage.

🌊 Coral, (AU) daughter of Layla and Nex, Witch of Tidal Waves 🌊

Second-to-last for the AU kids' fashion boards, we have Coral's~! Her style was pretty easy to come up with, but it was just finding the perfect references that was a little more difficult. I hope you enjoy!

. For Coral, she has very curly and frizzy dark blue hair that is between chin and shoulder-length, either worn as is or thrown up in a ponytail whenever she is working out. She doesn't normally wear makeup as she doesn't want to sweat it off or get is ruined, but mainly wears some waterproof eyeliner, mascara, and tinted chapstick. For a physical detail I wanted to highlight, it would be that she has several ear piercings, which include double lobes, her right cartilage/helix, and her left tragus.

. For her color scheme, it mainly consists of black, gray, and some tiny pops of white, but also a lot of darker blues, bright greens, and bright gold to match her eyes. Her style is a mixture between athletic/sporty, athleisure, streetwear, all with some punk-inspired elements. A lot of tank-tops, sports bras, athletic shorts, cropped or sleeveless hoodies, and sneakers, either in more athletic or street-styles. A lot of mesh elements, and wears mostly solid colors, with patterns done lightly as accents.

. For accessories, she doesn't own that many as she doesn't want them to get in the way when she is exercising or out and about, but she does have a couple of pieces worn for royal events. On a daily basis, she mainly just wears fingerless gloves, athletic wrapping, and a fitbit-style watch, with her earrings usually worn as small hoops or studs to not get in the way. The main accessory I chose to give her here is some longer fingerless gloves, as she wears them most often.

🌳 Fawn, (AU) daughter of Flora and Brandon, Fairy of Roots 🌳

I just have this one and two more left to write, and then these will all be done! But here's the next of the AU kids' fashion boards, this one being for Fawn! Hers was also pretty difficult to put together, similar to Ernest in that I didn't exactly know what her fashion sense would be like. I think I was able to figure out something decent for her though, and I hope you enjoy!

. For Fawn, she long hair that is pretty full and thick, being a natural medium brown color with some lighter brown highlights done, and her usually wearing it down as is or sometimes tied up in a messy but chic style. She enjoys wearing makeup, focusing mainly on her eyes and wears more natural or earth-tone shades, but sometimes she'll add in some pops of color like gold or pink. For a physical detail I wanted to highlight, it would be that her most prominent or noticeable mole is on her right cheek.

. For her color scheme, she wears mainly earth-tones with green being her favorite, so various shades of greens, browns, light oranges and golds, and has some pieces in black or white to bring some balance. Her fashion sense is a little bit of a mixture of styles, leaning more into the romantic, bohemian, and summery or breezy kind of styles. A lot of short and sweet dresses, flowy skirts, embroidered shorts, cute tank tops, wrap tops with flowing or fun sleeves, and sandals. Enjoys a lot of lace in her outfit and loves patterned clothes, usually going for natural motifs and some abstract ones. She also has a hoodie "borrowed" from Ernest, that she mainly wears around the house or when it gets chilly.

. For accessories, she enjoys wearing them and owns a lot of them, and has also handmade a lot of them too. Coming from Linphea, she is almost always wearing some sort of flower accessory in her hair, mainly a simple flower tucked behind her ear or flower crowns, but sometimes weaves flowers into braids or updos. Along those lines, most of her other accessories contain floral motifs, mostly focused on leaves, and are usually all gold or colorful. A lot of long necklaces, dangly or hoop earrings, some anklets, and bracelets in different styles such as bangles, beaded, and leather tie. The main accessory I chose to give her here is some dangly flower hoop earrings, as she usually wears mini hoops but I wanted to give her a cuter pair here.
