Okay i kinda have alot of questions and thoughts but first off number one :What are the decepticons doing?I feel like if an entire city like new york was cyberformed megatron would probably be already sending his army/soundwave to investigate.Unless they were the cause of it *cough * shockwave *cough*. Im thinking some infighting happened and now there entire base is a mess.

Second:Now about the autobots where is optimus prime?He also would probably be at newyork right about now.Im guessing if he isnt in trouble right about now he would probably feel horrible about what happened in newyork.I feel even worse for sparkplug since his son although i think is alive will now probably die before him.

Third:It must be hilarious to raoul that hes taller than tracks right now.Tracks is probably wondering how this small organic whos height is barely past his peds is now an inch taller than him.

Lastly What is happening to the war after this?Though it might go back to the way it was theirs still all these metal monsters going around who are probably hungry for energon?(Are they all hostile,do they need to eat other machines or only energon)Plus the fact they could attack human settlements which would be a problem for the autobots.Also the fact of humans can become cybertronians.So that means their race isn't doomed.(The autoboots wouldn't dare but i think megatron would if he was getting desperate for new soldiers.)Even if they had nothing to do with their war.I wanna ask more but this is really long.Thank you for reading this :D I love your au

I love to answer some of these, but asks like this are almost impossible to answer. My answers are always longer than the ask itself so the response would be crazy long, and a lot of these are unrelated. How about minicons?I was at first thinking people who have computers or some small similar device like a tablet would be able to become one.But if not can humans just not become minicons?Or their has to be really specific conditions?

Yes, minicons are very much still a thing. They are just small by cybertronian standards, so a motorcycle or a cybertronian computer could be a mini con, but mini cons are about the size of humans, usually a little bit bigger, so a human phone or a human computer could not become a minicon.

Some mermay Tracks art yippe (looks a lot better than my 2024 version, I think)

Tracks gets himself tangled in fishing wires and gets saved by some human punk named Raoul. Tracks is free but can't go home right away due to his injuries most merfolk living at extremely deep depths, and the water pressure change could possibly make his injuries worse merfolk surface vary rarely and have a history of being captured by humans so track also has to try and stay unnoticed in the bay of one the most populated cities in the world. While Raoul is tangled up in his own mess, now trying to keep this mer hidden and dealing with the Geddis brothers, having to get money to pay them back before they fill his head with lead or drop him in a river with concrete on his feet. So ya neither of them are in a great situation right now, but they kinda got each other and they're trying their best.

Mermaid au, but instead of a tropical paradise, it's polluted 1980s New York water and mobsters trying to kill the human.

in your cyberforming AU, can a successful spark conversion happen with small personal electronics like a phone or computer

Expanding on the lore in this post for those who have not read it

Sparks are about the size of a volleyball, so a spark chamber is a little bigger than that. Viable frame material needs to be not just bigger than that, but big enough to hold something of that size, and have enough material to make a frame around it. Viable alt mode material doesn't need to be a car or vehicle, just a mechanical or electronic device big enough, so a big roof air conditioner unit, a large fridge, a washing machine, or an industrial floor cleaner could all work as viable frame material in case of a cyberforming

but a cell phone, computer, or other small devices would not work. Its usally a pretty 50/50 slit if they end up metal staute parauly fused to their device or a tiny failed spark conversion creature.

In some rare cases, while an alt mode is trying to form with insufficient material, it can pull in similar devices if close enough and available. Most of the time, sparks with clustered frames spark conversion fails, but it is possible for it to work, though the final frame won't have an alt mode nor be well built compared to a frame made out of one thing.

Cybertonians like Blaster, SoundWave, Megatron, and Reflector have sparks with an outliers that allow them to compress their sparks and extra mass. Most cybertonians can't compress their mass to this extent, and even if someone who got cyberformed had the potential for this type of outlier, they still would need to have their spark stabilized in a proper-sized spark chamber before taking on a compressed form.

uhm. Yeah I kinda geeked out with the idea of this au, Def gonna actually put effort into redrawing this thing later. For now his name is Ray (short for ramone) and he was in suburbs of NY w/ his family b4 everything went boom. (Gonna give him the worst trauma story ever)

What are some more horror elements for your au? Does Raoul (forgive me if it spelt it wrong) have any friends/family to worry about? How about the goverment? Radio towers and phones?

YESSSSS I LOVE THEM! I love to hear more about him in future.

Ya everyone is definitely getting so much trauma from this even (expect for maybe Astoria but she is insane so like whatever) but raoul he's genuinely one the characters who deal with it "better" he's not in contact or on good terms with his family, but he dose have some human friends he is definitely worried about, but raoul also not properly dealing with his emtions either.

As for communication, anything in the affected area wave based communication are disrupted by whatever is causing the cyberforming and the cyberforming cuased deformation of most phone lines so it's extremely hard to get a message outside of the effected areas if their even is anywere unaffected because the character definitely don't know that at first.

Sure go for it dude! I love to see what you come up with!!!! Also, if you have any extra lore questions, just drop me an ask, some I might be slow to respond to because I wanna make art examples to go along with the ask. I am not very possessive of my fan content, like if someone wants to use any my concepts or my cybertronian design for human character in their own au stories, whether it expanding on my ideas or their own thing, I'm also 100% cool with that too, I just like being credited but I wont throw a fit if I'm not. I'm fine with people messing around with my ideas and designs as much as I mess with canon, that's how you get more fun ideas!

Are you planning on adding any non-G1 g1 humans in your Cyberform AU? I love to see you do a cybertronian version of Miko in your style.

Sorry, no, the lore I'm making for the cyberformed au is not a 1-to-1 with G1, so I could add other characters if I wanted to, But I still feel like only using G1 one works better since Cyberformed is less continuity soup and more just G1, plus sparks, a more grounded/serious tone, and tons of my own lore not based on any other continuity.

Just think of cyberformed newyork is kinda its own continuity because of all the new lore I added or things I changed to fit better with the lore I was building, but it is also still kinda G1 au since lot of the au is vary heavily based on g1 first two seasons closely, it's both its own thing and G1. (movie seasons 3 and 4 are kinda ignored, other than lore I might nab cyberformed takes place after the events of g1 season 2 in 1990 not its event don't build to the movies nor are implied to if the cyberforming never happened)

The basic sorta plot setup ↓↓↓

Tracks had always been curious about the surface. He heard interesting things about it and saw the strange artifacts that floated down. He was always warned about going up there, it wasn't uncommon for a mer to visit the surface to never be seen again. he intended to just take a peek at what the surface has to offer and not get too close to land, but after seeing the strange light on the shore, he swam to get a closer look he never seen anything quite like it before, while he getting closer he accidentally gets himself tied up in fishing wire and beaches himself under a bridge. Raoul is a punk, a petty crook, a graffiti artist, and currently in debt to the Geddis Brothers, doing jobs for them to hopefully pay it back. He jumps a fence to do graffiti under a bridge, finding a weird fish man tied up and injured, and ends up cutting him free, helping him the best he can. Tracks is stuck in the stinky New York Bay until his wounds fully heal since most mers live in very deep parts of the ocean and the changing water pressure could make his Injuries worse, so he can't go home for the time being, his only company being when Raoul visits. The plot sort of follows Raoul, and Tracks keeps getting closer while at the same time getting into deeper and deeper trouble. Raoul gets more entangled in organized crime while Tracks unknowingly finds himself the target of a certain research group looking to capture and study him.

I have a few ideas about how this story ends, but it really depends on how I develop it. yeah, I will probably never write this fic since I'm busy focusing on other stuff, but if you like to use anything here to make a fic, go for it. I have a lot more ideas for this au, but it would be a mess of scattered notes if I tried to explain it, but you guys can send me an ask if ya want to know more.

The nice thing about New York is it actually does touch the ocean and a bay, I don't need to relocate Raoul for the AU to work, but no beautiful tropical Scenery like most mermaid aus, only stinky, polluted New York trash water.
