How would you guys feel if future pages took on a simillar style to Pinepaw and the forgotten world? It would help me balance uni work and getting the story out! But would it still be interesting to follow the story without the visuals? I’ll probably still shade the images but less backgrounds and drawn panels. 🌕🌸

Wishclan is coming back !

So what happened was, I moved for uni recently and in the process my laptop broke. I've since then gotten it replaced but I lost my clangen files. I wasn't sure if I should abandon the project or not but I'ce decided to complete it! It won't 100% follow the games canon anymore, it will be a little different but still a complete story!

Heres a small wip of the next page / chapter!

I was wondering, are the little sticky-outy things by moonpaw’s ear supposed to be feathers, or something else? Because if they are feathers, then it might be a good idea to move them away from behind the ear, because it’s a little bit insensitive to Indigenous Americans… If it’s an honest mistake then it’s not a big deal and I’d recommend just looking into the cultural significance of worn feathers in native cultures a bit (I had a really good post saved about it but I don’t have the link atm, but if you would like it I could totally go find it again) but I just figured it was worth bringing up, because it’s something that happens pretty often in the warriors fandom and a lot of folks do it by accident because they just didn’t know.

If they’re extra tufts of fur or flower petals or something then it should be fine, but it might be worth it to maybe make it a little more visually clear that they’re not feathers? Or even just clarify that they’re not somewhere in text to avoid future confusion or misinterpretation.

Sorry if I come off as rude sending this, it’s just something I see kinda often and thought I might as well do my part in informing people, because I know a lot of people don’t actually mean any harm but are unaware of the cultural meanings of these kinds of things.

Asides from that, I hope you’re having a nice day! (And your art style is very pretty, especially the way you do lighting!)

It’s tufts of fur, like the ones in her ear and on her back! I’m aware of why characters shouldn’t be designed with feathers behind their ears so I avoid feathers in my designs all together!

As for changing her design I’m not really sure yet

1st entry of my tarot card/fanart series of other clan-gen projects!

@ashpaw-is-alone is such a good one, it was the first time I saw the concept of staring of the game with one character and I love it. The story so far and the way the characters are presented is amazing, I'm such a big fan of a scrungly guy just goin thru it. Except for Ashpaw Weedtail is probably my favorite of the characters introduced so far! I can't wait to learn more about what went down in the past with this clan and where the story goes!

I listen to a lot of Kiltro while drawing as well as "A human's touch" by TWRP · McKenna Rae.

I choose the Temperance card for Weedtail because I felt like it just fit her energy and because shes in Starclan really goin thru it. (I went after this website since I'm still new to Tarotcards and their meanings https://biddytarot.com/tarot-card-meanings/major-arcana/temperance/ )

I've played until what I consider to be the end of the story, I have a few things in mind for the next comics but there will probably be a few shorter ones while I take a little break! I don't want to spoil anything but the playthrough did surprise me haha

I want to say thank you all so much for following and liking the pages I’ve postes so far. There is one more page left and then after that I’ll start doing shorter updates to get to know the characters and go back to the comic format when something major happens in the game.
