Feeling like a fake fan because I want to duct tape lando’s mouth for apologising so much. It was a crash. It happens. Everyone makes mistakes. Its a part of racing. Until 67 lap he was brilliant.
But I understand lando wouldn’t be lando if he wasn’t so earnest and responsible. Its all different sides of the same coin stuff.

he makes me want to cry. the way he buries his head into his mothers shoulders. the way he reverts to a little boy around her. she is his safe place.

One thing about people who are in close touch with there emotions is that their instincts run high.
In his vlog before Abu Dhabi 2024, Lando menitons that despite him not being super confident most of the time, he is confident about the finale race.
THat was his insticts telling him everything is going to be alright...
Same thing happened yesterday, after FP2 he mentioned that he is quite confident that he can achieve it. THat he has put work in...
And today he was flawless...
For all the media yaping about him not knowing how to control his emotions, they make it seem like being emotionally sensitive is a bad thing....
It is his strength though. I don't know why the people want him to be like Oscar or Max for the matter. He can't be. He is special on his own. Why would he want to copy Oscar or Max when he can be his own perfect self....
Lando Norris, the man you are!!!!

Wish to be seen
I wish my silence was seen for what it was. My true self leashed by shyness.
My discomfort in outing my weirdness to the world.
I wish my quietness appeared to be my way of copying with my too loud thoughts. ..
.
.
It took me too long to realize that I appeared arrogant to outsiders who thought I thought too highly of myself to talk to them..
I could have been less lonely if only I let them in.
They could have been less judgemental if only they took time to notice me for a stretch.
Now here we are. Two people who could have known each other. Seen each other.
Separated by our beliefs of knowing too much. Our inability of letting the uncomfortable conversation start.
I wish I could have known you. I wish you could have known me..

Fingers crossed for a 2019 rookies' podium in 2025
I cannot contain the excitement just imagining the three of them at the top...
Recreating their f2 victory photo....doesn't matter the position....
Alex Albon deserves a podium after so many years. And what better than sharing it with his old pals...

What an overtake!!!!
Also honorary mentions to Lando's two overtakes too. Clean, quick and smart.....
Feeling bad for George,,, so far back
What a drive from Alex Albon too....
And Ferrari finally making the tifosi happy...
All in all a decent race for most😎

After today's race, one thing is clear to me. With how everyone is yapping about Lando's frustration clear as day on his face, after tough and bad races. People focus so much on him because everyone compares him to Oscar. Who has, for the want of a better word, a stuck face. For understanding if Oscar is upset, one needs to study his body language and really listen to the words he is saying.
If we compare Lando to anyone else, he wouldn't look so full of emotion. Because after yesterday's quali we could see how down Charles and Lewis were looking. Max and George too let people know what they are feeling but the face Oscar has got. One can't just tell looking at him.
That is why compared to Oscar, Lando, who is having a perfectly normal little breakdown, or even when he is super happy, it looks clear as day....
The benchmark is the default and everyone is blaming Lando...
Like I would love to see Oscar having to struggle with his car for a couple of races and seeing his teammate gelling perfectly well with his own car and then I would like to see his championship mentality. That would be a real comparison of who is mentally strong.
But as much as I understand Lando, I am sure when we reach such a situation, he is emotionally mature enough to have compassion for Oscar's plight. With how in Abi Dhabi 2024 he consistently repeated in interview how Oscar deserved to be on podium.
When he had bad starts to his races despite being on pole, he was super outspoken about how Oscar is better than him when it comes to starting the race from pole position. The open carefree admission he has, and then going as far as to be praising Oscar, it is what makes me follow him. Not solely because of his driving.
#Lando Norris#anti piastri#Not really#But just to be sure#Got an anon in inbox vommitting on me about their love for Piastri#Making me see the light.......Like I do not hate Oscar#I do not even dislike him#I am completely okay with him#He is just standing in the way of Lando's championship#That is all

Piastri claiming Italy to be one of his home races.
Fingers crossed that his precious home races goes just like the Australian GP 25. His original home race.
Also if memory serves, Piastri won in Miami from P4. Although Imola track makes overtaking difficult. But today's results looks a bit of a Mirage of Miami Gp. With Max in the first row and third position for a mercedes.
In the interview after his win in Miami, Piastri was claiming that he knew he just has to wait because he knew their car had the pace and making Lando look stupid by his wording as if pointing out how smart he is that he waited while Lando jumped in when he saw the gap. Stella also implied that Lando shouldn't have gone for the gap because their car had the pace.
Anyways Miami rant aside, Max really needs to fight Piastri tomorrow to give Lando the opportunity to drive off in the sunset...
Or better yet, the two dominant alpha strong mentality (allegedly), best at wheel to wheel drivers (supposedly for Piastri) take each other out and leave the race win for LN4....
All hope is not lost...
Let's not be so depressed

Nothing more to say....
rooting for lando.
The funny part is he wasn't the driver I was repping. But there's something about the way everyone tries to claw and pull down a person the moment they step up, it's so off putting to me.
If you move past your preconceived notions about him, if you actually see past the distorted headlines meant for sensationalization, you will see someone who's actually trying his best despite knowing things aren't going his way. There's something about his radio after a crash Or interviews after not managing a pole, and it's just upsetting.
Because Lando Norris, I hope you give yourself some grace buddy. All this "he doesn't have the champion mentality " is bs, you can feel frustrated about things not working your way. Sometimes we do everything we can and it doesn't work and that doesn't erase you.
Somedays we don't see the sun but it's there, it's always there, you will shine again Norris. This version of you, always trying, almost reaching, this is also okay. This is also a part of you and I think it makes your story beautiful.
So, I'm going to root for you.
#Lando Norris#Rooting for u#Irrespective of the position u find yourself#On Saturday#On Sunday#At the end of the year#Trying is more important#In a world which leeches at u for being emotional and feeling#I hope u know that even if it looks like everyone is blaming u Or laughing at ur losses#There are fans who have ur back#In victory as well as in defeat#That is what a true fan is#We are not as big in population as the tifosi but we are here for u#Take ur time#We will be here to cheer on u when u find ur way back#Till then#We will silently root for u

Open Question
To all the neurodivergent people out there.
I, a self digonosed neurodivergent person wants to ask,
Do you feel this disproportionate empathy for the underdogs too?
Does reading about a fictional character doomed by narrative makes you hurt for them to an extremely unhealthy amount...,?
Do you deal with situations where you would rather side with a wronged stranger than your own friend because after knowing all the details you learn the person you are supposed to side with, your friend, is in the wrong...,,despite knowing if you act your friendship would suffer...
Do you chose your favorite celebs based on their struggles which you can resonate with, rather than super strong love for the work they do in their respective fields...
Do you feel strange connection with fellow empathetic person. Making you feel like you found a person who won't make u feel bad for feeling too much?..
Do people who are careless in their dealings with you, not particularly because they are bad Or selfish, but because to them small things don't matter,,, do you also feel the urge to keep those people at a reasonable distance, out of your bubble.., ?

Thinking about how is Lando and Oscar had reversed races yesterday, all we'd be hearing about today is Oscar's overtake on George, how easy Lando's overtake in Max was because he locked up and how Oscar did a real overtake in the same amount of time, and how much more pace Oscar had than Lando to put 5 seconds on him.

Did Sky actually watch that race?
Max locked up into the first corner giving Lando all the space to have the corner. Going into the second corner they still had room, until Max’s car lost its rear ended and moved toward Lando, giving Lando a choice, stay and be pushed into the wall or go off the track. No real intention to it. Apparently that was Lando taking unnecessary risks.
Max defends brilliantly and Oscar has no way past. Max locks up, Oscar gets past. Apparently that was Oscar’s superior race craft.
Lando takes the same number of laps to get past Max, Sky do admit that by now Max had perfected where to brake going into turn 1. Lando gets past, there is some confusion as to what happened as both of them were off the track, gives the place back and then gets past again. Apparently this shows Lando’s poor race craft in comparison.
Lando takes the gap between him and his teammate down by 6 seconds, apparently this shows Oscar’s superiority.
Rachel then asked Lando “there has to be a way past Max because Oscar did it”. Lando corrects her and reminds her “so did I”.
Rachel then asks Max “was he just doing anything he could to defend his position”. Max responds “what do you expect me to do”.
Now Ted is out here saying that McLaren had “a perfect weekend” when he spent all yesterday laying into them for not sticking it on pole. And is now claiming that Andrea Stella told Oscar and Lando “not to do anything that could throw this away”. Please see above for what happened in turns 1 and 2.
Did anyone else see this race that Sky believe Max, Lando and to some extent Oscar had, as I don’t recognise it.
Sadly the only one talking any sense is Danika, but we never take her seriously, so what use is that.
