Did a ritual last night with friends and my girlfriend for the solstice. Burned old letters from Toby and Bella, some stuff from Nayib. But also Val. They’re not gonna message me and it’s time to move on. I put all their photos on a thumb drive so I don’t have to see them. I took everything from them off my walls. I cried. They were my first love and acknowledging that I’m moving from temporary no contact to oh I’m never going to see or speak to them again is hard. But I can do it and I have people to help me.
I feel lighter.
It will hurt but you will survive and continue to grow.
