Phobe had been further on edge since Halloween. She didn’t understand what happened to her or what happened to everyone else. When laying eyes on the male she wondered what he was doing here. Walking up to him she circled him trying to figure out if he was normal again. “What happened to you?” 

Elijah stopped and watched the girl walking around him. “Huh? Oh, the Halloween thing. I dunno, it’s like I suddenly really believed I was Danny Zuko.”

Marcus took a knee to ensure that the cigarette he had just spent more time than he’d like to admit inhaling, putting it out on the cement before tossing it into a trash bin, then rubbing his hands together. Fall was truly here, and in full force. He had hardly even noticed with how hectic things had been as of late. As he begins on a stride, shoving his hands into his pockets, he spots a familiar face, offering s kind smile. “Hey—you enjoying the scenery Aurora has to offer so far?”

“Yeah, it’s cool.” Elijah nodded his head. “Very quiet, but I guess that’s small towns for you. The lack of crime is astounding.”

“Okay then. It was just an offer. I’m okay if you don’t want to share.” She said taking a step away from him when she had her footing. “There is a lot of other things we enjoy together and I’m okay with that.” 

“Exactly.” Eli brushed his hand through her hair now with a smile. “Nice offer but... no thank you.”

When he started to look upset she let out a small sigh as she completely let him go. “That isn’t what I was saying at all. It is not something we had spoken or even had the opportunity of before.” 

Eli just set her down on her feet now and put his hands on his hips. “Yeah... but I don’t want to. I don’t want to share, that’s the thing.”

When he had changed his expression so soon Gummy couldn’t help letting out a small sigh. “Elijah that is not at all what this means.” She said only to sigh softly. “If you were not enough for me then I would have never married you.” 

“That’s what it seems like it’s about.” Elijah ran his hands through his hair. “I’m in to a lot of stuff, but sharing you isn’t on that list.”

“You will. I promise we will get here.” She said pressing one more kiss to his lips before taking a step back to look at him. Clearing her throat for a moment she went silent as she thought about how to word this. “Well, my love. My only true love. I was approached by a gentlemen during the Halloween party.” She started off keeping her legs wrapped around his waist. “He mentioned wanting to maybe have a little interaction. With both of us.” 

Elijah ran his hands down her thighs but paused when she worded it the way she had. “Intera-... a threesome? Really?” He just rolled his eyes at this. “So I’m finally not enough for you?”

Chuckling some when he had picked her up Gummy hummed softly at the thought. “Finally.” She said with a small hum. “Elijah. May I ask you something before this gets to far?” 

He let out a whine when she asked if she could ask him something. “But I wanna do you so bad.... fine, what is it?” Elijah pulled away enough to look at her.

Chuckling some she moved her hands  under his shirt. “Now we don’t have to worry about any of that. We are finally alone.”

Elijah growled softly then suddenly picked her up, placing kisses on her neck. “Yep, completely alone. We can finally be an actual married couple.”

Finding herself easing up slightly she smiled at him. “As much as I enjoyed living with your parents while you were away it was not the best situation to be in.” She said kissing him back. “I love you too.” 

Laughing a little, he pressed another kiss to her lips. “All those late night or early morning trysts so we wouldn’t wake them up.”

“I didn’t think we would be spending this much time apart.” She said as her eyes gazed up at him. Wrapping her arms around him she pressed a kiss to his cheek. 

“I know, I didn’t either. But you’re here now and we have a lot of time together.” He put his arms around her waist and smiled when she kissed his cheek, so he turned his head and kissed her on the lips instead. “I love you.”

“You work all the time. We moved for your work.” She pointed out finally stopping for a moment to look at him. “I want your attention. I have missed my husband and you seem to busy.” 

Elijah’s arms dropped by his sides, feeling a little guilty now. “Oh Gummy.... I wish you had told me in the first place. I’m sorry honey. I’m free all day, I promise.”

Looking up at him when he had actually gotten up Gummy went silent for a moment. “Your phone seems more important to you.” 

“Oh shut up, I was reading an email, a work email. What’s got your panties in a twist? Do you need me to remove them for you?” He licked his lips and put his hands on her hips.

“I have a lot on my mind not that you really seem to care at this point.” She said still not really looking at him as she started unpacking. 

letting out a sigh with a slight roll his eyes, he got off the sofa and went over to her. “I care, you know I care about what you care about.”

“I am already moody and your attitude does not help the situation.” She said looking over at him before grabbing one of the boxes and moving away from him. 

Elijah just put his phone down now. “So what’s put you in a mood? besides my attitude and the boxes.”

“Then why can’t I find anything?” She asked turning her head when he kept reading. “You can just keep doing what you are doing and I will start unpacking this.. mess.” Gummy said rolling her eyes at him as she moved to grab another box. 

“Once again, you threatened me when I asked to unpack this shit. So don’t go getting all moody on me.” Elijah shook his head.
