Seth hummed contentedly against the kiss, stealing one last taste of sexual energy from his favorite source. A rueful smile curved on one side of his mouth when he broke away, red eyes cooling while they flickered over the cambion's features. He didn't answer right away mainly because he didn't know how. Lot of shit changed between them even if the sex hadn't. Feelings were the thing and Seth had those too for Cairo who was far more consistent.
"It would," he ultimately agreed because he couldn't find a way to avoid that piece of truth. Seth still remembered the days that felt longer gone to him where they did have this daily. He gave a short laugh to move on, though he didn't move off of Shade yet, instead tracing absentminded patterns over his chest while he propped his chin in his other gloved hand. "How fucked up are you after that?"
Shade didn't last long, maybe it was the flying thing or just he fact they always had some really good sex between them. Either way it wasn't meant to last much as the high from the sex even though he'd take every bit he could get. His back was on the bed, an awkward feeling after floating, and soon he felt Seth's lips against his own. His hands gripped the witch's ass as they kissed kneading it in his own haze of satisfaction.
"It is now." He smiled against the lips he kissed one more time. "Be nice to have this every day wouldn't it?"

Seth's lips curved into a dazed grin and he exhaled a short breath of laughter in return. It took him a beat to fully process the question in his post-nut haze, but once it clicked his eyes widened. He sobered up real fucking fast. Immediately his hand fell off of Shade's back. "What, why?" he asked sharply, quickly. Shit. He wasn't wearing the gloves from Gwyn and Shade touched a lot of bare skin. He was still touching a lot of bare skin. Seth squirmed in an attempt to remedy that, cursing under his breath. "What are you feeling?"
Shade was only seconds, if that behind Seth. Of all the things they did or didn't do, sex was the one thing they were fucking great at. Somehow, their bodies always knew how to talk to each other just the right way and say all the right things. "Fuck." Shade finally side as every bit of him came out into the gancanagh leaving him dizzied and confused for a minute as he panted against his neck. For a minute he wondered if he was under some spell or maybe got too fucked up before sex. "What'd you do to me?" He half laughed.

Seth grit his teeth together against the remark he wanted to make and wasn't stupid enough to. Or that stupid anyway considering he was already in Raiden's suite for not the first time. He clenched his fist on his thigh, not looking at the older tribrid and sipping his drink while he deliberated. He figured that "no" wasn't an acceptable answer here with Raiden who took what he wanted anyway. Just depended on if Seth wanted this to be easy or difficult for himself. He really should know better about making deals with demons given how well the last one went. "What's being your pet fully entail?" he asked. "Aside from the obvious sex. I'm still a member of staff, not a slave in the Undercroft."
"You need protection?" Raiden asked with a smile. "Someone trying to hurt or...you already let that happen with Dempsey didn't you." He nodded at the other's current state. Going to hell was the worst thing that actually could happen to someone. "Guess I answered my question. So sounds like you need that kinda deal don't you? Course, you'd be my pet, but you'd like that just fine."

"Thank you so much," Seth snorted out in laughter at the strange compliment from his cousin. "You're right though, he's a lot more, uh... mature is a better word for it. More mature than Shade. Or anyone I've dated before so it's a weird change this time around having, like, actual conversations and not questioning the intent behind them when the actions don't match. It's scary but also a relief." He grinned wider. "Still think you should have a chat with him as part of your older cousin duties though."
"Well, he seems a bit more.. stable than Shade for starters," Bradley chuckled softly, idly toying with his hair. "I've not actually ever spoken to Cairo, but I've seen him around. He's hot," he said with a grin. "And you're, y'know, not exactly ugly. You're a Harper," the faerie teased, knowing that there weren't many unattractive people in the castle, but Seth and Cairo did look good together. "And you both have that good work ethic going for you. Well, you do, and I can only imagine Cairo does too given his position. Maybe I should chat to him, suss him out and make sure he really is good for you," Bradley joked, giving his cousin a soft laugh.

"My treat," Seth repeated without even looking at Cairo as he busied himself with the menu. He promised that at the beginning of the night and he intended to live up to it. He closed his menu a few seconds later and rested his elbows atop it on the table, folding his hands under his chin, smiling right back at the elder witch. "I think I'll get the pappardelle with short rib. "May I ask how you used to spend your birthdays?" he questioned. He sounded hesitant, never wanting to cross a boundary with Cairo if that topic led into one. "Was it much different than how you do here with De Luca and Gaudet?"
"Sure, let me know some time you're free. We can go to the stables and you can meet him." Cairo was sure Seth would want to ride him eventually. Curiosity would get the better of him and he was well aware of how much Seth liked animals.
There was really no reason for him to look at the menu because he knew what he was getting long before entering the place familiar enough with it. Still he picked it up to humor his companion. "I appreciate the willingness to treat me, though it really is the thought that counts." Because Cairo didn't need to be treated. He was treated enough by Raph. He hummed thoughtfully as he scanned over the offerings not about to put Seth through the courses he went through with Raph because it was never just one with him getting the full Italian dining experience. Lucien was no better. Meals could take up an entire evening. He was somewhat happy his family was still in disarray so they'd not had a formal family dinner yet. "Likely the pasta arrabbiata." He said setting his menu to the side and going back to his wine. "Do you need help deciding?" He smiled.

"You know I like confirmation," Seth hummed, mirroring the other's smile. He smoothed his hands over Cairo's chest, his eyes flickered over those features beautiful and intense like a marble statue up close and personal like he was taking in every detail of the artist's work. His gloved fingers brushed over the older's cheek as he ducked down, scarlet lips meeting Cairo's in a soft, teasing kiss. "How about moving elsewhere for a little bit?"
"I thought you already agreed to be mine." Cairo said with an easy smile as he let his eyes draw over the other's outfit again. "Unless there was some sort of confusion on your part." He set his unfinished drink down finding more interest in Seth than it and pulled the tribrid against him. "I think you pair perfectly with me."

Seth blinked, a little surprised by the questions but then again this was Cairo. Always productive and efficient with goals in mind to get what he wanted. "Uh, fantasy with some romance," he admitted. His shoulders lowered in relaxation and he rubbed at the side of his neck, not fully looking the older witch in the eye. "I mean, it was a silly dream in high school I never had a chance to get back to. So nothing more than the cheesy stories I started in my notebooks. I've written a few beginning scraps of newer pieces here and there over the last couple years but never finished anything." That creative insecurity kicked in hard like a real bitch. "I'm looking into picking up some college creative writing classes once I get my GED. I think that might help some before I start looking into trying to publish anything."
Cairo was quiet for a long moment before he responded to the comment. "It was." Because he had to grieve everyone he ever knew as dead and gone since they were. There was no going back and visiting; no seeing his children, grandchildren, exes, or his current wife. He went to sleep next to her and woke up alone in a different world. There was no playbook for that. He could only surmise he was actually built differently and made to overcome rather than crumble against overwhelming odds.
"What genre do you write?" There was no hint of laughter to him only genuine curiosity. "How actively have you pursued this desire to be an author? Have you looked into publishers for your specific genre, sent any works out, do you have anything finished?"

Seth pursed his lips together, gaze locked wholly on Cairo. "You sound like you're speaking from experience," he said just quietly enough for the two of them to hear. That wouldn't be surprising given all the elder witch went through in the last few years since his arrival. Nearly dying twice would do it just as well as actually dying. He swirled the liquid in his glass and brought it up to his lips. "What would you recommend as alternative ways to sleep?" he asked.
"Have you talked to anyone about it or are you hoping it just goes away with time? You aren't the first person to spend time in hell." He leaned in closer. "They aren't going to just go away on their own." It was whispered as if it was a secret said in confidence and maybe it was. "But you can try. Maybe you have something others don't. Who knows. Not everyone is the same." He slipped from his glass. "There's other ways to sleep if it becomes a problem. Magic isn't always the cure." He advised professionally because there was the eventuality of sleep disturbances affecting work, something he was very familiar with.

Seth didn't dare stop fucking Alasdair throughout it all, the hot waves of ecstasy and the nephilim's little pleas spurring him on. He couldn't tell if it lasted too long or too short time stopping until reality cleared away the haze of lust clouding his mind.
"Fuck," he took his turn in passing that word around between them both. He pulled himself out of Dair's tight little hole, spread those legs, and hinged over the spent out nephilim on his bed. Seth sought those soft lips in a gentle, languid kiss tasting the lingering sexual energy on the slave's mouth and tongue. "Was that everything you were hoping for tonight?" the gancanagh murmured pulling away just enough to meet the other's gaze through half-lidded eyes.
A little growl of protest left the nephilim's throat when his hand was batted away from his cock, which was almost impossibly hard, flushed and leaking against his stomach. He looked up at Seth with a pleading little look, but let the red tendrils curl around his wrists and secure his arms above his head -- although he wasn't sure he had much of a choice in the matter and he wasn't going to argue mid-sex. Seth's dick was incredible, and not to mention the guy looked un-fucking-believable in the lingerie. "Yes, mistress," Alasdair purred with a teasing little smirk as he looked up at Seth.
The nephilim groaned as the gancanagh pulled out, hating how empty he felt, but thankfully it was only temporary. Within seconds he was being pulled down the bed, practically folded in half and filled with Seth's dick yet again. "Fuck, you feel so fuckin' good.. so fuckin' deep," Dair panted as the other's cock fucked into him hard, fast and deep, his eyes heavy with lust and pleasure as he tried to focus on the beautiful tribrid above him. His own cock was leaking precum against his abs and chest, each thrust of Seth's length taking him closer to the brink of a powerful orgasm. Alasdair let out a litany of breathy expletives as he was fucked, pressing his head back against the bed as he felt Seth's cock throb and spill inside him, filling him with hot cum just like he wanted. The feeling of it triggered his own orgasm, spilling his load against his stomach, completely untouched as his hole milked Seth's length, wanting every drop the tribrid had. "Fuck, Seth.."

Seth nodded and gave Alasdair's order to the bartender along with two tequila shots and a vodka soda for himself. "You said something strong," he said, grinning back at the slave once they were alone again. "Life's been fine, not a lot exciting. How about you? You getting any closer to back out of the Undercroft again?"
While Alasdair did fully believe Seth, in that it likely could be a lot worse, he still felt like an idiot in what he was wearing. Perhaps if he just found some confidence and owned it, it would be less humiliating, but Dair knew he couldn't pull off dresses as good as Seth could... or anyone, really. He was most comfortable in jeans and a hoodie.
"Something strong," he muttered as they reached the bar, leaning against it and looking at the options he was presented with. "Maybe some JD.. yeah, JD please," the nephilim confirmed as the bartender approached. Once Seth had ordered his drink too, Dair offered him another smile. "So how's life been treating you since we last saw each other? Anything exciting happen?"

"You'd know best," Seth drawled, looking back at his ex with a raised brow. "What's your goal here?"
"Call it like I see it." He shrugged. "You want me to stay outta it. Fine. Do you. Your track record proves you make some real good choices in partners. Sure his tip fucking top." Shade fought not to roll his eyes as he drank his drink and looked over the part goers.

Seth Harper | Staff | 34 | Gancanagh/Witch (Sloth) | Top
“I prefer loneliness over fake company.”
Seth Harper never really had an easy life to start off with. He was the product of an accidental teen pregnancy. His mother Carly was barely through college and despite her parents’ urges to get the baby aborted, she decided to keep it. This caused quite the argument between Carly and her parents and it ended with her packing up a bag and moving out into a cheap apartment with Seth’s father. His dad stuck around for a little while although Seth barely remembers him. The main things he does remember was how effortlessly charming his father could be. He also had family in England that came to visit when he was much younger, which is how he knew about his cousin Bradley. He’d been too young at the time to realize that his father’s side of the family wasn’t exactly human like his mother’s. It wasn’t until his adult years that he figured out his dad was an elf playing a role.
His parents’ relationship had started going downhill for years after Seth had turned two. There was lots of fighting, lots of yelling and screaming, and it only grew worse and worse as the years went on. He’d hide in his room with headphones blasting music to avoid it; he never was a fan of conflict or shouting. The fights would get to the point where it seemed like one of them was going to leave, and it only took four years before his dad finally walked out the door. This event worsened his mother’s already growing alcoholism, and soon enough she was drunk more often than sober. Unfortunately, she was one of those angry drunks and Seth was the only one around to take her crap. It was the same thing every night, Seth would make dinner for the both of them since his mom could barely function, and they’d eat in silence before she went off, calling him an accident, how she should have listened to her parents and aborted him or sold him as a pet to some rich vampire, how he was the reason she was going nowhere in life, and so on. And Seth would sit there quietly and take it. He’d learned long ago that arguing would often get him slapped or shoved. Sometimes being quiet would get the same or worse treatment.
Of course, Seth had mastered the art of lying to convince his teachers and others that there was nothing going on at home. He put on a smile every day, and made sure to cover himself up as best as possible. Eventually, everyone stopped asking about it since Seth seemed happy, and his mom was capable of sobering up just a little for the sake of rare public appearances for her son’s benefit. However, Seth was miserable and grew to hate his mother. He wanted out, and when he was sixteen, he finally snapped. He and his mom got into an argument, which soon turned ugly real fast. She turned on him, began hitting him, and when he threw his hands up to defend himself, fire shot out of his palms at his mother. She was knocked back, yelling at him and calling him a freak just like his father, and that was when Seth ran. That was the day he found out he wasn’t human, that he’d inherited his father’s genetics. He had no idea where he was going when he left – he just needed to find his dad or someone who could help.
Turns out, he wasn’t the only witch living in the Chicago area and it didn’t take long for him to find one. Or rather, for one to find him. A few days later, he had been discovered by a young guy in his mid to late twenties named Crash. He’d claimed that he’d had a vision the other night of meeting Seth and after some talking they hit it off. He explained to him that Seth was a witch and had magic, just like those Harry Potter books he loved. Crash became like a big brother to Seth, and took him under his wing in the realms of how to truly survive in the world – stealing, drinking, and drugs. He also taught him how to control his powers and cast spells, with Seth showing a favoritism and natural inclination towards evocation. After a couple years of living together, Crash brought in his friend Iggy, who had quite the knack for concocting the most intoxicating potions.
The three of them hatched a plan to come up with some major income, and they ended up creating a new drug through spells and potions they called “Vertigo.” This drug ended up becoming real big in both the supernatural and human scene. It was creative in the way that it enhanced what the user wanted in a high; increased sexual pleasure, vivid hallucinations, and for the magic users in the world, a boost in their powers. It had been quite the successful business, but unfortunately, things came to an end after a few years. With great success in the supernatural world, it was only a matter of time before hunters caught onto their trail, and managed to track down their base of operations. The three witches were ambushed by a dozen hunters, and overpowered after a quick fight. When Seth woke up next, he found himself on a cot in a cell, powers sealed away from the collar around his neck, and he had a pretty good idea of where he’d be spending the rest of his life. He was now part of Krovs Castle’s large collection of slaves.
Seth was a slave in Krovs for about two years. He spent his first year in the Undercroft avoiding as many of the masters as he could until the former German councilman Heinrich took an interest. Heinrich saw his value and potential and claimed him for that with none of the usual expectations in a place like Krovs. Seth viewed him as the father he never really had since Heinrich protected and looked out for him. His experience in Krovs Castle wasn’t anything he expected either, what with finding himself in the middle of a battle against an army of faeries invading the castle. His stance as neutral quickly changed as he found himself on the vampires’ side, knowing that their species wouldn’t go down easily and staying on the winning team would guarantee his security.
After that invasion incident, Seth wound up possessed by a succubus demon for a little over a year. Heinrich negated his powers so that Lilith couldn’t use them to harm others. He could feel himself getting weaker and weaker the longer she stayed inside him, feeding off his life force to strengthen herself. Every time she took control, he blacked out for hours, sometimes days, and would come back with either zero or little memory of what she’d done. He hated it. He hated feeling helpless and powerless and wished he had the power to get rid of her. Fortunately, the demon was exorcized – or so they thought – and Heinrich gifted Seth his freedom and magic again.
His powers, Seth realized, had been significantly augmented after Lilith’s stay  and he felt the chaotic energy immediately. He had zero control, especially when experiencing heightened emotions like stress, anger, and anxiety. Heinrich assisted him in getting a job at the castle as a magic consultant in hopes that it might help him regain control and figure out what happened to his magic. At first, it wasn’t helping much but he assumed it would take time. He went on with his life as best as he could, working, claiming his old friend Shade from Chicago to get him out of the Undercroft, and getting high or drunk to cope.
What he never realized was that the exorcism never worked on removing Lilith – it sealed her away inside of himself. Her continued possession had been affecting his magic the whole time. It wasn’t until Raiden Proulx killed his friend and lover Shade right before his eyes that he figured it out. Again, he hated feeling helpless and powerless as he watched Raiden slit his claim’s throat while he did nothing but watch him die. He didn’t think Shade deserved to go like that when he had so much life left. All he wanted was to fix that, bring Shade back, and he got what he wanted. He heard Lilith’s familiar whisper in the back of his head, telling him what to do to free her, and he followed it with the last of his energy. She finally left him and brought Shade back from the dead as a cambion in exchange for Seth’s soul three years from then. He was still in shock that it actually worked when Shade was walking and talking before him in the doctor’s office afterwards like nothing ever happened. He probably should have been horrified that he’d just sold his soul to a demon to bring his best friend back to life, but it was well worth it.
Of course that didn’t mean he’d just sit back and accept his fate to die in three years. After a couple years of procrastination Seth finally went to work in trying to save his mortal soul with Rhys and Shade’s help. The solution to ending his contract? Killing Lilith, which wasn’t as simple as expected. Still, they managed to succeed in the attempt and Seth was saved in the fall of 2023… or so everyone thought. It wasn’t long after security settled in that he began experiencing the nightmares and seeing visions of hellhounds haunting him at every corner. These symptoms worsened as did his anxiety and it seemed that even killing Lilith couldn’t stop his hellbound fate. He was killed in Krovs Town on January 22, 2024 by hellhounds mauling him and sent to hell for the rest of his afterlife. His soul burned into demonization although he didn’t gain the horns and leathery wings he expected. Instead he gained a more fae-like form with pointed ears and fangs and fiery wings. Flames and sunlight seemed to dance underneath his skin and behind his fiery red eyes. His death appeared to have awakened his faerie lineage and turned him into a tribrid of demon, faerie, and witch.
What felt like a decade in hell was only about a month on earth before he returned above like nothing ever happened. Except that he was definitely different now with new strengths and skills from the hybrid he’d become. Still, perhaps he could go right back on with his life in Krovs and find some sense of normalcy again.

"Think you're confusing me with yourself there," Seth quipped back at Shade without a second of hesitation. He narrowed his eyes at his ex. "You're quick to call him a "douche canoe" when he's been nothing but kind, generous, honest, caring, and mature with me. Again, dude, why do you care when it's not your fucking business?"
"Cause he's a douche canoe and you're too stupid to see it." He grumbled into his drink eyeing a waiter that was passing by. "But that shouldn't be surprising. You have a type, anyone that gives you attention."
