Lina shrugged one shoulder, tilting her head to the side. "Well that I wouldn't know. I only met one other vampire. And they were just...normal eyes I guess." She straightened out keeping her eyes on him. She didn't trust him one bit. "And I'm not your sweetheart."

“No,” Stefan tilted his head to the right slightly, “Or perhaps there is-” He appeared next to the girl at an inhuman speed, eyes red with curiosity and hunger as he ran his tongue over his fangs.

"Adalina," she said nodding a greeting. She shrugged one shoulder looking around slightly. It was something she asked herself often. "Needed a job and this place was hiring." Lina turned back to the girl, smiling slightly. "I've dealt with plenty of scumbags in my life, so this is nothing."

Natalie smiled weakly, nodding her head a bit, “I’ll take it.” She agreed politely as she took another drink from her glass. At the girls’ advice, Natalie’s eyes surreptitiously searched the area, looking at the various inhabitants of the bar. None of them looked like bright, upstanding citizens. In fact, they all looked rather frightening. “Thanks for the tip.” She replied with a smile when she finally looked back up at the bartender looking back at her. “I’m Natalie, by the way. So…how does a girl like you end up in a place like this?” She asked curiously.

Lina walked to the other side of the counter and turned to him. She eyed him up slightly, thinking of what exactly to make him. A thought popped into her head and she silently turned from him. She made the drink quietly, ignoring the calls of other customers, leaving them to the other bartenders. Once she was finished, she turned and handed him the glass with a smile on her face. "One Adios Mother Fucker. Hopefully it's strong enough."

Christopher followed politely, glancing around at all of the patrons and the interior of the bar itself. The place was nice, nothing too commendable, but would definitely be worth visiting again. Plus, it was always nice to go to a tavern that wasn’t his. “Alright, give me your best drink. I’m literally up for anything. Strong, preferably.” Chris didn’t get drunk easily, and he knew even their strongest drink wouldn’t put a dent in his system. He eyed the young woman, there was something peculiar about her, but he wasn’t sure what that peculiarity was, quite yet.

She nodded as the girl talked, shrugging one shoulder. "I'm more of a whiskey girl myself." Lina finished the drink quickly and took a sip. She smiled softly as she offered the glass to the other. "Try it. It's good."
Shannen smiled warmly at the girl before her. “I’ve seen it being made but never had it.” She admits with a slight pout. “And it’s no worries— I’m use to it from working here.” She reassures her before putting a few dashes of tabasco sauce in the glass, adding the vodka and tomato juice afterwards. “I usually stick with straight vodka when it comes to alcohol.”

"I knew I liked you," she laughed. "Well, I can't explain that one. But question, did you win against any of them?" she asked raising an eyebrow.

"Speaking from experience, they will always see you as someone who needs protecting," she shrugged. "Well, that's how my brothers were. I was always their little sister."

"They care about you," she smiled. "They just want you to be safe. At least, that's what it seems like to me." Lina leaned back in the chair, gesturing to them with their hand. "They seem like that."

"Well, that's good to know," she smiled. Lina felt better. It was the first time she - sort of - sensed the starting of a small friendship. Something that rarely happens. Adalina pushed the thought from her mind and laughed quietly at his last comment. "Well, just stick with the bright side of it," she grinned. She turned to face him, holding up her arms in a strong man stance. "Look how sexy these guns are."

“Sounds good to me.” He considered it for a moment and then nodded. “I’ll keep note of that. But I wouldn’t worry too much. I don’t get too strict on my humor and other’s as well.” He shrugged casually. Honestly, as long as the humor was actually humorous, he was fine with it. Serious humor however, not really his thing. “God, it’s such work. I mean, great exercise, don’t get me wrong. But it’s a real strain on the arms.”

"I can understand that," Lina said nodding. She looked over at the group again. Instead she saw her brothers. The thought brought a small smile to her lips. "You're lucky," she said turning back to Lena.

Adalina brought a small smile to her lips as the girl answered. "Can't help you there," she said shrugging one shoulder. She moved the other hand from her hip to the counter as well. "But, what I can offer is for the drinks to keep on comin'," she smiled. "And I can offer advice." Lina eyed the girl up and down quickly. "Don't make eye contact with anyone here. You seem like a nice girl, and the scumbags here take eye contact for invitation."

If Natalie could be completely honest, she didn’t know how she had ended up in this part of town. She did that a lot, though. She’d take walks with no destination in particular, and she’d end up in a completely random place. Thankfully, she had a better sense of direction than her roommate, so she was able to find her way back home without getting completely lost. Once her drink was made, she gave the bartender a small, thankful smile. She would’ve chugged the entire drink, if the burn from the alcohol wouldn’t have stopped her. She winced a bit, setting the glass back on the bar as the liquid burned her throat. “Yeah, for it to be about…10 degrees cooler outside.” She said with a bit of a chuckle, shaking her head.
