These are mostly first-hand accounts from UK antifascists:No Retreat: The Secret War Between Britain’s Anti-Fascists and the Far Right by Dave Hann, Steve Titzey

Beating the Fascists: The Untold Story of Anti-Fascist Action by Sean Birchall

Bash the Fash: Anti-Fascist Recollections 1984-93 by K. Bullstreet

Some books about older antifascist struggles:Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell

The Ghetto Fights by Marek Edelman

Also, I have Militant Anti-Fascism: A Hundred Years of Resistance, which looks more like an international overview, but I haven’t read it yet.

There were also some good articles online about antifa recently but I can’t find them now :/ Any followers care to add any links?

a proper introduction

well hi. my name is tommy, but im not entirely sure if i like it. im 16 years old and i live in indonesia. i indentify as an nb male and i go by they/he, but i used to identify as a trans male just until recently. 

im in 11th grade and i go to a pretty small school where there are pretty much no other lgbtq+ people. i am out to two of my close friends, though, but we don’t talk a lot outside of ranting and occasional convos. besides that, i’m completely closeted but i have been presenting the way i want to for over a year. people still misgender me, though, but it’s not their fault. besides that, i like to paint, draw, make clothes, read, and occasionally make videos as well. 

i made this blog just to vent about my problems or just rant about random shit that i dont want to burden my two friends with. my blog won’t completely be vents though, i might post art and random mlm yearning here and there. i hope to make some friends here!

so hey, i’ve never been one to use tumblr, but i figure its a good place for me to rant and to find people like me. its pretty late and i been stressing out lately and just been really down.

i wish i didnt live in this country where im not allowed to be myself and where people are free to invalidate me with no consequence. i wish i didnt go to this school where literally 99% of the school population are cishet and would never understand my struggles. i wish i had friends who i could go to without feeling like too much of a burden.

theres no way for me to ever be happy here. its a cage. its playing tricks on my brain. i just want to live a normal life as a normal teenager and do all the things i wanted to do since i was young. 

sucks so much to be a queer person in this place cus i just cant seem to find people like me and its fuckign painful to have to live my life feeling so isolated. i dont go to parties. i dont go to prom. i dont go outside and i dont even have people to talk to. if only the cards played out the way i wanted to.

i just wished i had friends who understood me
