just how EMBARRASSING — takumi hated asking for directions. especially when he'd already been to a place before ! like where he was going in this very moment, the library. on several occasions the second prince would hole himself away after classes were finished to study on fodlan's war strategies and fighting techniques. ugh, garreg mach was just so damn huge ! anyone still settling in would get lost ...

takumi looked around for anyone he could ask for assistance from who wouldn't kill him from the seer embarrassment. no colleague or acquaintance would do ... nor any of his students ... ah, right in the corner of his eye ! that stranger ( @eosasami ) over there ! they were a knight of seiros, right ? no one better to ask than one of them. with a deep sigh, and gritted teeth takumi begun to walk towards them. stopping right before them, ' excuse me ... ' takumi attempted to get their attention, ' could you tell me where the library is ? '

feelings of uneasiness weren't rare for the second prince; often strangers ( those takumi deemed as UNTRUSTWORTHY & SUSPICIOUS ) evoked such emotions. but this man ... it almost seemed as if he sent it into overdrive. more tame nightmares become more vivid, and gruesome like during wartime. feelings of despair, anger, and resentment bubbled in the depths of his chest once again. not this again ... not again , not again, NOT AGAIN . anankos ( @anankelotus ) was dead ... right ? they killed him back in valla ! which saved both hoshido and nohr from their ultimate demise. so there was just no way ! no damn way that dragon somehow managed to stay alive after all that. ha — maybe it was just takumi's mind playing tricks again; making the worse case scenario imaginable... still, it wouldn't hurt to get a definitive answer. and so another journey begins.

DO NOT ENGAGE ! gut feelings were meant to be trusted, so why was he ignoring it ? turn back before it's too late — screw it ! each stride forward became longer than the last. quickly landing him a spot right before the blue haired man. ' just who are you ? ' greetings and formalities were reserved for those who weren't deemed a potential threat.

At first he doesn't believe it. A trick of his imagination, or a cruel prank by some mean-spirited student.

Stranger things have happened and while it wouldn't send him reeling the way it would have before his arrival at this monastery, Leo nonetheless finds himself at the archery range.

It's surreal, seeing Takumi there, as if Leo didn't witness the archer breath his last. (There are explanations. Branches of fate, butterfly effects rippling through the universe until they converge here, this seemingly fixed point in time and space.)

"Prince Takumi," Leo says evenly, hands as ever clasped behind his back. "Following me here, I see."

BULLS EYE ! takumis once again hit the center of the target. today's practice was rather peaceful, and quiet. or it had been until a familiar voice called out to him. just what was he doing here ? not like takumi kept tabs on him or anything of course ! they weren't all that close during the war, and most certainly not after ( from what he remembered they were still on friendly terms. perhaps his memory was failing him. ). the second prince was just ... surprised to see him here with all the work both nohr and hoshido still had left to do.

slowly the yumi was lowered, and takumi turned to properly face an "old" aqquaintance. ' prince leo, ' following him here ?! ugh, how EGOTISTICAL. his brows creased, and a once neutral expression turned into one of annoyance. ' ... i have my own reasons for being here, you know ! geez. '

' sister, ' takumi greeted, a warm smile accompanying his words. just when was the last time he last saw sakura ? it had to have been months at this point. to say he missed her was a complete UNDERSTATEMENT.

' great surprisingly ! it's been ... weird without oboro and hinata around, but everything seems to be . the change of scenery's been real nice. ' takumi admitted. this monastery was huge, though it still paled in comparison to castle shirasagi of course. there really was no place like HOME. ' i haven't gotten any letters from you in a while. how have you been ? how've your studies been ? ' he questioned in hopes to continue catching up. ' it'll take some time before i'm really comfortable, but i do like it here so far. there's plenty to do, and i can practice as much as i want on my own. the one downside to this place has been ... having to socialize with everyone. ' takumi sighed , gritting his teeth. ' ugh, it's not like i don't like them ! i'm just not good at helping large groups of people all at once. '

my name is star , and i go by any pronouns . it's lovely to be here and meet all of you !

enough about me though, i'll talk a little about takumi and where i'm pulling him from exactly. i've decided on the ending of revelation ( since i'm a big baby when it comes to the other endings lol ) , right after the war. which means he won't be aware of either conquest or birthright endings. ( he's not aware of his own death in conquest nor does he think xander or elise have passed . ) he thinks that both countries now are at peace after the defeat of anankos.

i will be taking information from the original sub that the localization left out ( drama cd's, his fanbook, ect ). he may differ just a tiny bit from the english version but will still be the insecure boy we all know and love.
