as mentioned, Franny is half wanting you to be imperfect, in fact she seeks out someone who is, someone disorganized, insecure, and lonely, socially-inept

She throws herself into “helping” and “fixing” you, going out of her way to teach your her methods of success, her own habits which lead to her victories and her general fruitful life

It is in fact a distraction to prevent herself from thinking of her father and his betrayal toa  system she holds dearly, it is so obvious that that’s what it is that you allow her to “help” you, how could you not? Franziska is still a young woman with an obviously horrible home life, your heart aches for her a bit and it leads to you letting her muddle up your life if it means she can cope with her father’s situation. 

Because you allowed it, Franny sees your submission as acceptance of her as a staple in your life, and now, oh boy, she aint leaving you… no matter what. 

Not only will she try and fix you, she will try and mold you to be her ideal partner, someone that she can sink all her time into so she never has to think about Manfred again

This also means that you will never technically be “good enough” for Franziska, there will always be something to improve upon and something to remedy, if you were perfect, she would get bored and leave you. No dear reader, to keep her interest is to REBEL against her, to eventually get fed up with her antics and try and be your own person again

But by then its already too late, you accepted her help once, and now you’ll never get rid of her
