The Skiff
Made by Pierre-Auguste Renoir
I love the way he painted this picture. The water is painted so beautifully and the boat also. I love the ladies in the boat, I like the way the they are painted. The house in the back of the painting is also very beautiful because of the color combo and the whole yard.

Provence landscape -1918-
Made by Moïse Kisling
I really like this painting of Kisling because of the colour combination and how it is made in general. I like that the way that Kisling tried to make it look as real as possible. I love the sky because the colours that are used looks like the earths colour. The trees are made really beautifully. I love greenery so because of that I like this painting so much

Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre and Passage Cottin -1910-
Made by Maurice Utrillo
This painting of Maurice Utrillo is made beautifully in my opinion. I like the colour combination in this painting. This whole picture is so bright and than Maurice Utrillo has put some darker shaded in it too make it more outstanding. He has much effort in this painting in my opinion because every footstep is shown in this painting. Each part of the street is put in in this painting.

Suburban Landscape with Red Houses -1917-
Made by Chaim Soutine during the time of Expressionism
I do not like the painting of Chaim Soutine because in most of his artwork everything is put so close together. In this artwork it should look like a landscape with a red house and that’s what you see but everything is so close to each other and that the reason why I do not like this painting and some of his other paintings. There is one thing that I like about the painting and that is the colour combination.

Woman in Yellow Jacket -1909-
Made by Amedeo Modigliani during the time of Expressionism
I like this painting of Modigliani because of the woman. She is standing in a very sassy pose that I really like. That’s not the only thing Modigliani has used yellow in this painting and that is one of my favourite colours and that’s why this painting attracted me so much.I like the way how Modigliani used the colour combination in this painting. Modigliani has used dark shades and then the yellow jacket. The yellow jacket that makes the painting so outstanding. The yellow jacket is the lead of the painting that is obvious but the expression of the woman is also a point to look at.It would have been a boring painting if Modigliani used dark colours

1.
Do you know what a chameleon can do to hide hide from his enemies?
They change every time from colour so they can hide from the enemies.
2A and 2B
Can you give two more examples in nature, in plants or animals, where colour plays an important role? Explain how and why.
The Peacock Flounder changes from colour to defend himself.
The Cyanea Octopus changes from colour to protect himself too form other animals.
3.
Name the similarities? Why would the Native American Indian wear all these feathers?
I think that would wear such things to defend their self and if there comes a animal he attacks them.So they look like animal.
4.
Can you give an example when people use red?Explain the function of red in your way
A tradition in Spain is that they use a red clothing to irritate the bulls so they can win from them.

Analysing:
They used dark colours in this painting:black and red. But they also used light colours. What the symbol of the picture is that that they pray for a baby (i think). The meaning of this picture in my eyes is that they had there first kid and the kid brings pleasure to them and the family.

Jeroen Bosch
Hieronymus Bosch was a European painter of the late Middle Ages. His two most famous works are "The Garden of Earthly Delights" and "The Temptation of St. Anthony.”
Born in 's-Hertogenbosch, Brabant (now in the Netherlands), around 1450, Hieronymus Bosch was a northern European painter of the late Middle Ages. Bosch painted several large-scale triptychs, including "The Garden of Earthly Delights" (c. 1510-15). Throughout his career, he used his art to portray the sins and follies of humankind and to show the consequences of these actions. He died in 's-Hertogenbosch in 1516.
Bosch came from an artistic family—his father, uncles and his brother were all painters by trade. It is believed that he was trained by a relative growing up. Around 1480 or 1481, he married Alety Goyaerts den Meervenne. His wife came from a wealthy family, and he enjoyed a comfortable life.

Vincent van Gogh
I think that in this picture colours are mixed because you see many different colours. Brown is not a primary colour so it is mixed. You don’t only see secondary colours but you also see primary colours, like blue and a lillte bit of red. The combination of this portret is really nice and the artist who did this knows a lot abot colour. I see two or three pure colours like : blue, red and a little bit of yellow.

Art is everywhere. Art isn’t just paintings, sculptures or architecture, it’s creativity, you need to know what you are doing you just think and make it on paper or whatever and you have made art, but the people who now so much about Art think and think and then write it in their head and make it i don’t really love painting but how people make everthing and come up with such things ‘ HEADS OFF’ it is really fantastic and beautiful. The picture is just a picture about a girl who is playing a instrument and look how beautifully the painter painted this
