Live for the Moment 🐣🐝🤗 🐾 There is a lot to discover in the Black Moor, even if you are a little late - like us, 😋 who sometimes like to lose track of the clock. More or less by chance we arrived just in time ⌛ for the golden hour 🌄 and enjoyed the light of the setting evening sun. 🐾 When the mayflies rise from the water and the grasses 🌱 and slowly form denser and denser swarms, Aron 🐺 of course has to take a closer look at this spectacle and run wildly among the swarms that gather around and retreat from him at the same time. 🤗 🐾 Honestly, at this stage we almost wanted to be back at the parking lot, because a night 🌌 out in the moor... Lone Wanderer 🪐 🐾 This week we made the most of the last warm days 🏖 before it gets too cold for extended hiking tours and picnics. And the sun sets too early for long hiking tours in the mountains and forest.🌌 Even if Aron doesn't like to admit that he actually likes it 😝 - like on this picture he prefers to walk as slow as possible behind us.🙄 Because there is always a lot and new things to discover.✨ 🐾 Especially right now, when nature changes so much week after week 🍁, that a place that was so shady and hidden due to the dense canopy of leaves in one, shines brightly in a completely different light in the next.😮 In the hunt for beautiful images, this is both a challenge and a charm 😶 because on the one hand, there is a beautiful spectacle of colors 🍂 in nature, but on the other hand, it is quickly ephemeral and there is only a short time window 🏃💨 to capture this, in which everything must work out.📸 🐾 And well, admittedly: I've also often missed that, because then I did not necessarily, especially when the winds blew cold, had the desire to go back the next day again.😴 But then... it was often too late. The Gladar 📡 🐾 In between, you also have to stop for a break while hiking through the wilderness.🏃😴 We prefer to look for quite secluded clearings 🌲🏞🌳off the paths, where you can sit undisturbed for a while and rest. This is the best place to enjoy the apparent silence of the forest.🤫 Apparent, because the longer you stay there (quietly), the more the forest around you comes back to life.🦗😮 🐾 Aron also notices this, because after getting his treat and lying down in the grass for a few minutes, he also realizes that it's not so quiet around us.🤔 Then he slowly makes his way through the high grass and listens to the sounds around us.👂 Fortunately he is not as brave as it looks on this picture, so we don't always have to be attentive and react directly as soon as he raises his "radar".📡 🐾 And often enough it happened that a deer 🦌 ran around us, or better: the glade, and Aron just turned around slowly, stunned 😮, on his "lookout"... Out of the Dark 🌌 🐾 In autumn 🍂🍁 we go into the woods 🌳🌲🌳 to look for and collect mushrooms. 🍄 If we find any. And even if Aron 🐺 looks like an important support in this autumnal picture, rushing to our aid from the shadows... the moment is deceptive. 😋 What Aron 🐺 likes to do most is to follow the tracks of other animals 🐗🐿🐇 in the forest - or, if he finds a tasty mushroom, to stomp on it and to be really happy, because he did everything right. 😶 Because that's what the hoomans also do! Golden Breaks 🌄 🐾 Some of you who have been following us for a while might notice something special about this picture. 📸 Because you can see Aron 🐺 only on very few pictures with his collar or on a leash - not because he rarely wears one, but we often take his collar off. 😁 Not only because it looks nicer on pictures for me, but also when Aron is at home or we are out hiking through the wilderness undisturbed and not expecting any big surprises. 🤗 🐾 We are no friends of collars and try to let Aron 🐺 wear it only when we think it is necessary. Fortunes 🍀 and Misfortunes 🍄 🐾 Today I wanted to post a completely different picture than the one you can see above. The problem: Whenever you are too sure of something, 😎 you become negligent 😳 and then unfortunately make avoidable mistakes. In my case, I took half of the pictures with the wrong settings 😒 and then, when I evaluated them at home, they were straight for the bin 🗑 - unfortunately. Maybe I will take one or another for a story, but for the feed they unfortunately not good enough. 😶 🐾 So there's more to see from our trip to the castle park, where we were completely undisturbed, by the way. Although it was a beautiful, sunny 🌞 day. Maybe this literal calm before the storm was the problem, because Aron is much more sensitive than we are. And rain and storm we had that night... What you can maybe see between the pictures, because Aron is to be seen on almost no picture without his big, hanging out tongue, 👅 although he had not so much to do that day. 🐾 But that's not quite true. I've already told you that we live in a very rural area, and on the way to the castle 🏰 we encountered... a free-roaming herd of cows, probably because a fence broke down somewhere. Because cows and highways don't go well together, Aron 🐺 was allowed to "join in" and we first had to drive 🚘 them from off the road to the pastures next to it and call the farmers - who themselves couldn't really understand how they came to this spontaneous "luck". No Fear Here 🤗 🐾 Aron is for me primarily a big cuddly ball of fur 🐺🏐🤗 who often attracts more attention by his clumsiness 😝 than by anything else. At least to me. Others see him sometimes as a "wolf" 🐺 or are even afraid of him, because he is anything but small.🐜🏔 This can lead to such absurd situations that Aron is perceived as a threat 😱 even when other dogs visibly want to get at him... 😬 Well, you just don't get along with everyone...🙄 🐾 Even when taking pictures 🎨 I usually only see the excited ball of fur in front of me, which can rarely sit still 🚓 and is often just fooling around.😲 Very rarely, however, the "impressive" moments occur, in which Aron's origin, or to be more precise: that of the breed, becomes clearer.😒 Even if it rarely happens with Aron when he sees or sniffs an animal 🐙 but mostly more by chance. A Walk in the Park 🌳 🐾 Today a less elaborate picture, 📸 from the category snapshot instead of "effort". But... I still like it incredibly well, because I love 😍 Aron's 🐺 attitude on this picture so much. Rare Places Revisited 🕵🐺 🐾 Today we went back to Gehaus 🏘 where some of our favorite spots are.😊 Both to have a relaxing 😎 and varied dogwalk if we do not want to hike for hours 😲 through the mountains, but also for some of our favorite locations when it comes to taking pictures.📸 Because... it' s like a little Disneyland 🏰 there in terms of possibilities!❤ 🐾 Either the castle 🏰 the castle park 🌳 the crypt 💀 the creek 🏞 the duck pond 🦆🚿 - or some old, gnarled tree 🌲👻 which certainly knows many stories to tell, if he could talk. Hold Still 🙃 🐾 Fidgety Aron 🐺 doesn't have much of a thing for being a model 💃 and posing. And to be honest, I'm not a big fan of such pictures 📷either.
