And Lexa looks at Clarke's seat UNTIL THE LAST MOMENT as she goes to get her sword.. (I never realized she was staring in that seat before,, damn)

She will soon be in a death combat but her mind is in Clarke.. her eyes on that empty seat.. the only person there she wants to see is Clarke.. because she wants to see Clarke backing her.. because she wants to see Clarke trusting her.. because she wants to see just Clarke, the woman she loves.. and her eyes on that empty seat until the last moment (I want to hug her badly) (anyway)

And finally Clarke is coming.. she almost breaks crowd and comes out.. as if she felt that Lexa wanted to see her and waited for her, she comes hurriedly to Lexa..

Look how surprised Lexa was.. because she had no hope.. she may die soon but she doesn't care, time stopped for Lexa.. Because at that moment there's nothing between them but love...

Lexa: I'm glad you came.. (now I know you care about me)

Clarke: Me too.... ( I was care about you even while I wanted to kill you)

How to make a character's death sadder

 Don’t have them die of old age after a long, fulfilling life. Many people don’t even think of this as sad (note that this can still work if you have enough of the other factors).

 Leave one of their major goals unfinished. The more enthusiastic they are about completing the goal, the sadder.

 Give them strong relationships with other characters.

 Make them fight against whatever is causing their death. Their ultimate loss is sadder if they struggle.

 Kill them in the middle of their character arc.

 Don’t describe their funeral in detail. Maybe it’s just me, but I find that long descriptions of funerals kill the sadness.
