what i say when i'm trying to get people to play ffxiv: there's such an incredible amount of content that there's something for everyone. you get an intricate jrpg plot with fantastic characters and worldbuilding that also makes YOUR character feel like an actual person somehow despite the limitations that come with customisable pcs. there's 21 different combat classes which you can all do on one character so there's always something new to learn and improve upon, but if you want to specialise that's totally cool too! there's raiding obviously but if you're not into that there's all sorts of side things like crafting, fishing (yes this is its own category), housing, island sanctuary, pvp, and so much more i can't even list. the music goes so hard. people are generally super friendly to newcomers and yes it's a meme but there's a super generous trial up to level 70 with no restrictions on playti—

My sole problem with Wuk Lamat

I generally love Dawntrail. The story was pretty good and an enjoyable time. I love the interesting things its done to set the story up in the future. The combat and dungeon design has been top notch. Viper is incredibly fun (R.I.P Noxious Gnash) and overall its just a great expansion. But there is one problem that I feel needs to seriously be addressed.

Why the fuck are Wuk Lamat's bright, beady, beautiful eyes Wuk exclusive? All the Hrothgal options we have, the eyes give confident, cocksure, hot dommy mommy, etc. I would love to give Hrothgals a chance, but I don't want to be the cool, sexy Hrothgal. I want my eyes to be wide and naive too. I want to be fervently optimistic. I want my eyes to tell the world "I still believe in Santa Claus at 29 years old". I want Erenville to think "This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them" when he meets me.

I want to be a Herbo Cat Woman too. And I am jealous of Wuk Lamat.

FFXIV: Can you imagine the Ascians' reactions to Midgardsormr landing on this planet? They didn't know about life on other stars. If they missed his actual landing they'd be gallivanting around, jumping to the other shards, teehee we'll get that dastardly Venat, and then they come back and find
