The way that like 90+ percent of the true crime cases featured on shows like Dateline and forensic files involve a man murdering a woman, most often his wife or girlfriend (or a woman he had sexual contact with like a prostitute) and we’re just supposed to accept the fact that we live in a world where men kill the women they love sometimes, and no this obviously isn’t about misogyny these are isolated crimes of passion, and shouldn’t you be grateful that your husband only screams at you or hits you instead of killing you?

i think that talking point comes from the fact that there were jews living in mandatory palestine, which is true, as jews have always lived in and are indigenous the land. however, with the founding of the jewish state they stopped identifying as palestinian and started identifying as israeli. so tldr palestinian jews are israelis.

wistfully remembering how people (pretended they) cared about antisemitism when it was primarily coming from the right. like there are pre-2023 posts with tens of thousands of notes about antisemitism. now any mention of the existence of antisemitism (when its worse than it ever was) doesn’t breach containment outside of jewish circles. its almost funny how quickly people stopped caring when it was inconvenient.

not that anon should be given the time of day but in case anyone was wondering, this was referencing a joke post i made months ago which referenced the 1972 hit song “stuck in the middle with you” by stealers wheel.

and i would bet money the reason anon decided to investigate my blog for something problematique is that op reblogged my post about how people ignore antisemitism when it’s inconvenient for them. which anon is doing by trying to use my joke post to ignore the post op reblogged.
