Have we ever thought the fortnight video was Harry and taylor writing to each other (post is harry)

I was watching fortnight mv and noticed something😭

In the typewriter scene posty is wearing a ring in his ring finger. Then the next scene the style silhouette scene posty without tattoo is not wearing any ring. Then the next scene where they are torturing her/trying to fix her, posty is wearing a ring in the same finger Harry wears the haylor ring. But no ring in ring finger. Then in the telephone scene he's again wearing a ring in his ring finger and Taylor is wearing the haylor ring.

I shared my theory about this song and mv with you before and this new clue makes me believe in it more. The wife she talks about is Olivia. The ring in the beginning indicates Harry being with Olivia (not literally engaged but engaged as in together). They were talking when he was still with Olivia and she was surviving with Joe. The tattooless posty is Joe I believe, this scene I thought was her dreaming of a life with harry but this may also be her revisiting the life she had with Joe and talking about it with harry. Like how they were happy and then they wer not, how they had a happy-in-love expression on their face then it turned into sad expressions, how she reached her hand out but it cut to the next scene before he could take it. This is perfect summary of her relationship with Joe but the style silhouette tells me that harry was always in the back of her mind OR it might be in the beginning of Toe when Harry's memory was still fresh in her mind.

So they were both typing meaning they were either talking about eachother or writing songs about, i think it's both. Because they talked and then they wrote songs about what they talked about. Harry has plenty songs about her being lonely in HH. Makes sense that the pink and blue colours led them to those tattooless posty scene meaning revision of Toe relationship.

Next the torture scene where posty wears a haylor ring maybe? This scene to me was Harry dragging her out of the mess in May, he wasn't seeing anyone at that time. So there's no ring in ring finger. So the ring he wears in his index finger might be seen as a haylor ring.

The next scene where she's wearing that black victorian type dress throwing papers and all, to me it's after he left her again in (after saving her from torture, reference to down bad). Then when he calls he again has a ring in ring finger, he's involved with someone else again. So it could mean it's after TR came into the picture. Taylor is wearing the haylor ring so I'd assume it was when she still was looking forward to him returning.

Wow thanks for this ask anon, I spent a bit of time gathering shots of the rings then looking at Harry's. And yes there are three combinations of Post:

Tattoos with rings on his wedding and right index fingers, in the typewriter and phone booth, also where Taylor has Haylor ring

No tattoos or rings in the road scenes

Tattoo scientist has a ring on their right index and you don't see his wedding ring... so it could be the same Post as 1.

Post has two rings in the typewriter scene, his right ring (wedding finger) and left index. Also a ring on his right ring in the phonebooth where Taylor wears the Haylor Ring.

Right index for the scientist - but the wedding finger is hidden

No rings in the Style head and tattoo less scenes

Harry wore the Haylor Ring on either index finger intermittently 2014-2019. The last time we saw it was 2019 Gucci Campaign where it was on his right index finger. (this ran the week before Ed's wedding)

It's not the only ring that may be about Taylor though. He wore the Peace Ring on his left middle finger from (when he and Taylor had a break in LA coincidentally on April 21 - 24) 2013 - 2020. It was on the left middle finger for 6 years, but it switched to the right middle finger in 2020 and only appears occasionally since, but that included his MSG residency when he and Taylor were both in NY and at TIFF.

I re-read my post on it Peace Ring and noticed the dates Harry wore it again after he stopped includes the anniversary of Ed's wedding. (yesterday's ask about it) At the time I thought maybe it was something earlier... but that's when he was 25.. so hmm I might do a post on that ring's reappearance.

Down bad is the continuation of a conversation, and perhaps situationship from around the time of the writing/recording of Harry's House and Midnights.

The fortnight MV is clearly about TS and HS writing songs about each other. The pink and blue fumes from the typewriters, the style MV cave formation by the letters....TS thinking she is going mad playing this game. Think post is a stand in for Harry with his tattoos. It's crazy that she was so blatant about it with the style reference! But it's awesome too

I agree the upside down asylum looks like Harry’s house:

I’m a fairly new Haylor fan and I’ve been reading timelines. Wow is all I can say this contrast longing for each other while in relationships with other people boogles my mind. Calvin, Kendall , Camille ? , Joe , Travis and Taylor R . I hope they get it right one day 🙏🏻

There's something about haylor meeting at Ed's wedding reception in September, then Harry announcing Fine Line release date in November, then performing at the jingle bell ball on 8th December and then Taylor performing there the next day and telling Fletcher that she loves the lyrics of Undrunk!!!

I missed the Undrunk lyric mention, gee I can see why Taylor would have liked that song it is like her! How fitting for that time.

The 2019 timeline really interests me for the reasons you indicate. Also now that TTPD has referenced when he was 25 which was that year.

From Taylor and Joe at the Spaniards Inn... (like WHY?) The Me! video in all it's Haylor glory, Harry's Swan Gucci Campaign and Boyfriends, Adore You and Lights Up were written. They had each other on their minds.

Then Ed's wedding, it's presumed that Joe was there. Niall followed him the next day.. but Joe didn't follow Niall back for 2 more weeks which I think is weird. (There's a blind that Taylors team controlled that account)

After the wedding gets hazy. Harry was MIA for 2 weeks. Joe went to Toronto to do press for something at TIFF. Taylor went to Paris to film City of Lover and included Style as #13 and Delicate she kept pointing at the Joe-less sound booth.

When Joe was seen with Taylor again (a month later) a huge, silly deal was made about them *gasp* holding hands. Then Joe was away on her birthday again. At the Z100 Jingle Bell Ball in NY (she said she liked Undrunk) and birthday. Joe was filming in London. Harry was LA for the Fine Line ONO on her birthday then missing again. So Joe wasn't at her birthday, Harry was missing in the US for it. Taylor showed up at the Cats premiere with a swollen lip (Maybe lip filler gone bad?) and goes weird talking about her holiday plans.

Taylor spent New Years in the Maldives with Joe "and friends", there's press about weeks later. Harry was in the Caribbean when he first wore the "but daddy I love him" shirt dancing with no shoes. Taylor dressed as a Ariel the New Years before.... I have so many questions about that year and the next

Harry got the 17Black tattoo around 14 August 2012. The Tattoo Artist, Kevin Paul, has spoken about it three times. The video below (Credit to this TikTok) is the most detailed, that it was after he lost a lot of money gambling in Australia. Which did happen, they were in Australia April 2012 (2 months after turning 18 - Australia's legal gambling age). It was the same trip as the NZ girl kiss.... so a time. Niall said:

The song happiness has the line "I guess it's the price I pay for seven years in heaven" (2012-2019?) - I know some don't believe it's HS but if you reread the lyrics it could work, especially with some more context if 2019 did mean something. It sounds like leaving it all behind , expired. She hasn't always been honest about who songs have been about so if she said anything I don't just take her word.

Harry was 25 in 2019 for Peter. Do you think that's when TS considered it done? I still think it's never truly over.

I think Taylor goes back and forth on how she feels. When she mad she like “I’m done with him” but then she calms down and starts wondering what if again.

I think the Ashton Martin mention in imgonnagetyouback is a clear reference to Harry, other than the bad driving skill of course. She doesn't wanna get back with ratty...her words not mine. And I don't see him as a fast/sports car enthusiast. Joe was seen with bike but he too is not a sportscar enthusiast. But Harry Edward Styles is. Also think Taylor read the whole biography of James Dean and found that Harry is exactly like that so now she's not gonna stop comparing them in any way. James Dean liked sports cars fast cars, Harry like them too. James Dean gf's mother didn't like him at all that's why she had to leave him and choose another man. We can say the same about Harry and Scott. Taylor says Harry would be the one interrupting her wedding. Wait i have some confusions. First, when is that photo of Harry sitting on kendalls lap from? He was wearing the same shirt while writing kiwi, there's a video? And if kiwi mentions the 28th feb vanity fair party then was it written in march? I thought kiwi was written in Feb. Lastly, when did harry wear that blue shirt for the first time that calvin copied? Was it 28/29th April? That's why he wore that on the anniversary of that date? Or did he just wear that because calvin used it and he knew about haylor's 29th April meeting? And did Harry not post anything in colour on insta on 29th if they met or even in march?

When is that photo of Harry sitting on kendalls lap from?

1 January 2016 give or take a day, it’s part of yachtgate and a leak from Harry’s mums phone….. that only leaked photos with Kendal….

He was wearing the same shirt while writing kiwi, there's a video?

The shirts are different the kiwi shirt is solid red the other one is a st Laurent shirt with a pattern. Calvin copied the red and blue st Laurent shirts.

And if kiwi mentions the 28th feb vanity fair party then was it written in march? I thought kiwi was written in Feb

Kiwi was recorded between Feb and May 2016, we don’t know when. He said sweet creature was the first written and that was a few weeks after his birthday - he was pictured in a studio 19 Feb so after then and before he cut his hair.

I don’t think it refers to the vanity fair party… my post about it is here, it does mention the Grammys from 2015, Taylor saying “going home to the cats” but the line is ‘cactus’/prick.

Lastly, when did harry wear that blue shirt for the first time that calvin copied?

Who knows when he first wore it, but he was wearing it the day after his birthday, 2 February. so it’s interesting that Calvin choose this shirt…. Harry wasn’t seen on his birthday, he celebrated in London and La in the week before then was MIA, as was Taylor. It was the day of the 22 tweet though.

Was it 28/29th April? That's why he wore that on the anniversary of that date? Or did he just wear that because calvin used it and he knew about haylor's 29th April meeting?

We don’t know, my speculation is that Harry saw Taylor on his birthday and that’s why Calvin chose that shirt. Calvin also used the red shirt in the photo with Kendall and outfits of Taylor’s. Harry went back to England the week Taylor and Calvin went to the beach and looked miserable.

Then he and Taylor went back to LA on the same day. I think they spent more time together than just that one day.

And did Harry not post anything in colour on insta on 29th if they met or even in march?

Harry didn’t post anything for 6 weeks over 29 April, or for 20 days over his birthday. He first posted colour again february 24, then one more (last) B&W photo was 23 March 2016, where he’s wearing the Haylor ring. He was MIA that day, seen last in London he and Taylor both reappeared in LA 2 days later and he stopped posting in B&W for good. He didn’t post again till May. I wonder if he stopped posting B&W for work, or because of April 29.
