I drew this pose and then I wanted to see how much mileage I could get out of it, making as small changes as possible. Initially, the idea was just using the scarf in three ways, but then I did two bonus ones with no scarf and now there’s five. Let me know your favorite!

I honestly think it's wonderful that people can acknowledge that Harry Potter meant a lot of them, reject what its writer became, and use their love for the property to create something better than it. There have been a lot of great graphic novels recently that scream "Hate-inspired by Harry Potter to create a kinder, more diverse magical school".

And Top 5 formative books?

Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan, which got me into mythology, and also fanfiction, and also my high school internet friend group and ultimately the college that I went to, so also probably my current job

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke, which got me interested in bookbinding, though I wouldn't go anywhere with that for years

Vellum by Hal Duncan, which helped get me into Sumerian mythology specifically, and also abstract tattoos for some reason. Though I'm not entirely confident I could tell you what actually happens in this book.

Okay this list is a lie if Harry Potter isn't on it. Let's be honest. I was in grade school in the 00s.
