With the drop of TADC EP.5, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of the aus and back into the fandom. So to tide you over, I present some Purge AU doodles and pieces!

From left to right.

Row 1:

Left: after every purge, Rags finds the closet member of The Circus for her celebratory post-Purge hug. Jax was this year's "unlucky" victim.

Right: I haven't fully settled on designs for Loo and Gummigoo yet...mostly because I'm working on how they tie in but here's the initial ideas. I may shy away from the full costume for Loo, but Gummi is still gonna go Dundee on us.

After everything, Poppy and Branch are quite the photogenic couple. Branch still doesn't handle large events well, but with Poppy at his side, he'll be okay.

I finally decided on a voice claim for Nerdy and it just made sense to draw her and her best friend before they got lost and after reuniting.

What better way to give Nerdy's parents some spotlight than to have them meet Ablaze for the first time?

Odette - she honestly thought her daughter had a crush on Floyd back in the Troll Tree

Major - he has some unspoken beef with "bad boy" popstars, no hatred towards JD and the rest of Brozone though

Lynyrd - he thinks his little songbird could do better with a musician than a "factory-made" performer

The Dark Circus AU by @sardonic-sonnet meets the world of horror video games. I used their descriptions to make the concepts. Their own concept art alone gave me Little Nightmares with a hint of Dark Woods Circus (heh) by Marchigarita-P.

Concept 1: The RingMaster's Welcome

Do you dare take a chance and enter the Ring Master's game? Will you make it out alive? Or will you just become another act under his control?

Artist Note: JD is inspired by The Lady from Little Nightmares. Not much is known other than, he has control over everything.

Concept 2: The Fool's game - Hide and Seek

Hold your breath. Hold your tongue. Stay out of sight. If The Fool so much as catches a hint of where you are, it's game over.

Artist Note: Clay's game mechanics are inspired by The Janitor from Little Nightmares. He depends on sound cues and has very limited vision.

You get two for now because I still don't know what images are forming for the rest of the group just yet, BUT THEY WILL BE DONE.

Finding out someone you see as a sister and someone you consider a brother are dating was not on Branch's bingo card.

Now he's contemplating whether or not to murder Ablaze or figure out how it all started.

With the reunion of Branch's family and old friends, one may think that they'd talk up their boy to his Royal Girlfriend. But no...not Nerdy and Floyd.

They'll get to Viva and Brandy later, but entertaining Poppy is all too appealing.
