Hiya, Maxvid community! This is the owner of the Maxvid-Week blog and this year’s Maxvid Week host! I’m just here to send out an explanation and a warning!

For one, thank you everyone for a fun and smooth Maxvid Week! I had super fun hosting it and I hope you all had fun drawing and writing for this week, and if I never got the chance to reblog your post, I apologize.

Secondly, Maxvid-Week and all my other blogs linked to my account (As well as other Maxvid blogs like Kitteh’s) has been terminated. It wasn’t because of mass reporting from antis or anything of the sort. It was simply because Tumblr has been nuking ANY account that has a blog marked as NSFW. 

We don’t have exact proof WHY this is happening, but it is most likely because of the Tumblr app being removed from the IOS store. For the past few months, Porn Bots have been everywhere on this site, and this was most likely the best solution Staff could think of doing to deal with this. (A very bad one, I’d admit). We also have reason to believe it could be because of fandom drama. Again, we’re not sure of the exact reason.

That being said, I am giving a warning to ANY and ALL Maxvid shippers and blogs, BACK UP EVERYTHING! MAKE A BACKUP! DELETE ANY NSFW CONTENT ON YOUR BLOGS IF YOU MUST! Tumblr will most likely be terminating your account if you’re posting NSFW content!

I am also tagging other ships so this message gets to as many people as possible! Please be careful out there!
