You know on those days that you need to show your affection and make the first moves yourself,,,he likes loving you, but sometimes he just needs to be shown that he can be loved too

I’m not going to lie, I struggled a bit with this category, because I feel it’s easier for Chan to say things rather than show it

He’s just not sure whether him making tea for you says “i love you” or “sup bro” and wants to make sure he gets the right message across 

Because of this, your relationship took a while to form because both of you cannot take a hint and were so convinced you didn’t like each other

Always buys little trinkets that remind him of you or your relationship

HE WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE CUTE SHY SMILE WHEN HE GIVES YOU SOMETHING TOO as if you’ll ever tell him that you dislike something he got for you 

He would also love if you gave him gifts too like, “hey joshy I got this little container that can help you keep your beads organized” and he’s melt into a puddle of goo onto your living room floor

We all know this man is a cuddle-bug on the inside, so of course that means that Jihoon has his needy time aka he must be the little spoon: no ifs, ands, or buts

I think Jihoon would appreciate a good back hug from you if you’re taller than him, and if you’re shorter, he loves when you rest your head on him :( 

I don’t think Jihoon is one for PDA, obviously (poor Hoshi) so there would be barely any proof to an outsider that y’all are actually dating to begin with 

Likes to keep hand-holding to a minimum, especially when in the studio, but he doesn’t mind when you sit with him and put your legs over his lap

When he comes home late, he makes sure that the apartment is tidy and clean before showering and going to bed because he knows it stresses you out seeing a messy place as soon as you wake up 

Cannot make food for the life of him please do not allow him in the kitchen unless he has a very specific task (he has zoned out while humming new melodies too often and burnt food is not a pleasant smell for your apartment) 

Always makes sure that you’re phone, watch and computer/tablet are plugged in at the end of the night, because you need them to be just as prepared for the next day as you

He would totally get sad if you do all the cleaning by yourself because he says that you work too hard making the messes, you don’t need to be cleaning them too 

You say the same thing to him when the boys make a mess in the living room when they are drinking and you offer to help clean up 

If you have periods, when you are getting close to it starting, he makes sure that your products are always stocked up so you don’t have to worry about getting anything 

Gift Giving 

Two words: Spotify playlists 

Jihoon would be over the moon with both making them for you and also receiving them from you 

I feel like Jihoon is also the type to just randomly show up with something and hold it out to you and just say “this make me think of you so I got it” 

Is super embarrassed when he does so but you love it so he’ll get over it when he sees how happy you are 

Is definitely not one for huge and expensive gifts like jewelry, cars and all of that stuff, but loves getting little trinkets and stuffed animals for you because let's be real: who doesn’t like a really cute and soft plushie?

I personally don’t think Hao would be big on cuddling, especially when sleeping…mans needs his personal space, but he would totally just chill on the couch with his arm around you 

When you tell him that you don’t want to be touched or anything he might pout a bit, but overall he would accept your wishes and not want to make you uncomfortable 

He would also be super concerned if something like that happened, but he would do his best to fix any issue 

Acts of Service

Hao would do simple things, like push the cart when you are shopping or do some cleaning when you are at work. He won’t even say anything about doing them either, he just does it and gets all giddy inside when you notice that he did something for you

If you have a pet together, he would always volunteer to to take them outside or to spend family time together 

Just imagine Hao laying on his stomach on the floor playing with a kitten or a puppy it would be so cute (and of course who could resist taking a picture of it either)

Enjoys doing tasks like dishes and laundry, always willingly agrees to do them

When you are getting ready to go somewhere, he will always grab your belongings like keys, wallet, purse, phone, ID, anything like that, so you don’t forget it (because you would otherwise) 

Always makes sure that if you need help with something and he can’t be there to help you that someone would be there. He doesn’t care if the rest of the performance unit wants to help, if you need more than just him the other three will be there 

Gift Giving 

I feel like Minghao is also not that big on gift giving…like of course he would for things like your birthday or any gift-giving holidays that you celebrate, but I just feel like he shows his love in other ways 

Obviously, he’ll do stuff like get your favorite drink or snack from the store or pick up your favorite dinner on the way home, but I don’t think he’d spend hundreds on jewelry or anything 

Though. He would totally revamp your whole closet for you LOL I can picture it perfectly, he sees you looking through clothes you never wear and you find a super ugly sweater and he’s like, “How many of these damn things do you have?” 

So he would drag you to his favorite store and y’all would pick out some cute outfits 

And he would obviously get a couple of them that match <3

Cheol is the booktok boyfriend, jeans made 100% out of boyfriend material 

Quality Time 

Seungcheol loves when you get chaotic. He’s used to dealing with twelve idiots (loving) every day, and adding another one to the list is no biggie! He loves to spend time with you, especially when you go out with your friends. 

If you go to a club or even just to hang out at the park with your closest friends, Cheol will be perfectly content sitting quietly next to you, his arm over your shoulder, or his head resting on yours

He likes to see you happy, and if that means tagging along to all the events you go to, then so be it! 

He would definitely want you to hang out with his best friends too, and you have quickly learned in your relationship, that even though Cheol is usually calm and collected, he becomes the most…energetic person when he is with his friends

This is the first of The Kissing Booth drabbles.

It wasn’t supposed to rain. Seungkwan had checked the weather the night before, and it wasn’t supposed to rain. It must have been some stupid type of cosmic karma for it to be that way. So now, here he was, sitting on a bench in the park in the pouring rain with no umbrella.

Maybe he deserved it. He did break someone’s heart today. It wasn’t like he meant to. However, he had feelings for someone else and didn’t want to lead the girl on. It was probably only right that he sat there, water soaking into his frame and droplets dripping down his forehead from his drenched hair.

Sighing, Seungkwan looked up at the offending sky. His honey-brown eyes reflected the same clouds as the weather and as the ones that invaded his thoughts.

“I’m really sorry, but I can’t do this anymore,” Seungkwan said.

“It seems you have finally come to terms with your feelings. Your feelings for them,” the girl said, tears starting to fall down her face.

“I really am sorry…” Seungkwan murmured, staring down at his feet and becoming more interested in the grass surrounding him.

“Just do me a favor. Please be honest with yourself. Tell them,” she said, leaving Seungkwan alone in the middle of the park.

He wasn’t sure how much time had passed since he shot you a frantic text. Suddenly the rain was no longer drenching him, and he looked in front of him. A familiar blue umbrella was held out over his head, blocking the drops. You had arrived, his best friend and forever savior.

You sat down next to him on the bench, not caring if your jeans got wet. Not when it came to Seungkwan. You pulled the umbrella over so it shielded the both of you from the cold droplets. “Kwannie, are you okay?” you asked.

The love and concern in your eyes did something to him, and he was no longer in control of his actions. Seungkwan leaned forward and pressed his lips against yours. Your lips were warm and soft, more than he could have imagined.

You didn’t respond immediately, frozen, and now panic set in. He shouldn’t have done that. You only thought of him as your bestest friend, and now he probably ruined that too. He was ruining everything today.

And then, finally, you smiled, and he swore the sun had come out. “I thought you’d never…” you whispered, and you completely dropped the umbrella to pull him towards you by the collar of his shirt. You pressed your lips against his once more, the water from his soaked hair leaving drops on your cheeks.

Not that it mattered anyway. The rain that should have been cold was soaking you now too. But all you could feel was Seungkwan’s warmth. Seungkwan pulled back in awe and rested his forehead against yours. Smiles adorned your faces as best friends became lovers.

Then the rain stopped, and the sun really did come out, leaving the two of you giggling like fools on the park bench as the sun dried you off.
