A second batch of these experimental sketches. Similarly to the previous ones these were drawn on a grey canvas with very irritatingly bright red. My head always hurts after drawing these but I find the juxtaposition of extreme saturation and desaturation interesting to mess with.

First batch of some experimentation with high contrast colors (and generally trying to focus on the overall feeling of a composition instead of nitpicking small details).

These were drawn on a grey canvas with a very strong shade of red (in terms of RGB value 255,0,0)

Just a friendly reminder that I tag pieces with strong, irritating colors with "#eye strain" should you want to blacklist the tag.

This alien race appeared in one of my nightmares recently. They were some sort of leech creatures abducting humans to feed on blood.

I did not find any suction marks on my body the morning after so it might be safe to assume I was dreaming.

Kind of a sibling piece to my last post with the wonky hands. Both are based around necromancy as it is practiced among Lycans (though they prefer to call it the process of reanimation to separate themselves from reckless mages).
