romanticise your body
your trans body
your disabled body
your fat body
everything about yourself that you've been told to hate
love yourself in spite of it
the way you exist is amazing

I’ve been trying to remind myself that I’m not useless when I’m sick. I’m not unlovable when I’m sick. I’m not worthless. I’m just a person that happens to be sick. My life is not doomed because of it. I won’t be left all alone because of it. And maybe you need this reminder too.

Jim Mahfood's (aka Food One) drawings of Jay and Bob are so awsome, I always digged the guy's artstyle.
(SILENT BAWB HAS A RUN DMC SHIRT ON BRO!!! I swear I saw Jay wearing a Public enemy shirt in some of his works, never found it again😭)

I feel like, around Clerks 2, Jay and Silent Bob were attending some little, informal church on Sundays and all the old ladies there absolutely adored Jay. Like, he reminded them of sons they lost to marriage, or jobs abroad, or past mistakes, even death. So, whenever he walked in, rattling around in that coat that seemed to swallow him, they came flocking like pigeons to a bag of breadcrumbs. Shoving mugs of coffee into his hands before the service even started, putting frail arms around him to warm him up, tucking his hair behind his ears and cooing, delightedly at his silver earrings. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but it got to a point where Bob could tell Jay liked the attention. He would see him purposely muss his hair up and pull his clothes around, before going in. Bob was surprised as well, that the old dears seemed to understand perfectly well, that just because Jay’s comments were elicit, did not mean there was always malice behind them. They knew the difference, and would answer his questions sincerely, admonishing him for his language with no more than a playful swat on the hand. They were equally warm towards Bob, though not quite so maternal. They knew he looked after Jay in some way, and that earned him their utmost respect.
Also, you cannot convince me that Jay, and possibly Bob did not let slip their feelings towards one another to a couple of the ladies, in their own separate moments of frightening clarity, that they would later bury. And that those ladies came together and swore they would support those dear boys, no matter what.
