hi guys thank you for all the oc doodle requests. :] I had fun with them, but i think i will slow them down for now. I'll maybe get a few more done over the weekend, but nothing too grand. My askbox is still open for small requests (doesn't have to be ocs -> you can request other stuff, like ships or just . whatever), but from now on I won't guarantee fast and/or frequent responses and I will possibly skip over a few (it's nothing personal !!
My classes are starting again on monday and this year will be an especially tough year for me academically, so I will have different priorities.
Thank you for understanding <3

this will go over the plot and little things about Emissary :]
heres my slop:
Emissary is the reincarnation of Artificer's slugpup that drowned to leeches.
Their story takes place a bit before Artificer's campaign, and begins at them climbing up the wall of an iterator(currently unnamed, design and personality is a work in progress) in search of purpose.
This iterator gives them the title of "Emissary," as she is now temporary messenger for the iterator. It gives them The Mark II (Mark of Communication 2, allows for communication to Scavengers and Iterators) and a citizen ID drone to access Metropolis.
It gives Emissary a data pearl, and the goal of traveling up Five Pebbles' can, going to Metropolis to meet the Chieftain Scavenger, and delivering the data pearl to the Chieftain Scavenger.
After delivering the data pearl, Emissary ends up living with the Scavengers in Metropolis, now having no purpose now that their mission is done. She finds new purpose in helping the Scavengers.
---
Other stuff I guess now that slop is done!
Personality: She is very kind to Scavengers. She tries to be helpful, bringing food and pearls and crafting spears for them. She is very hostile when it comes to anything seen as an enemy to Scavengers, attacking threats on sight rather than fleeing(she particularly hates Vultures).
Relationships with others: She really only interacts with Scavengers. She has a really good reputation among them, due to her ability to craft Electric Spears and Pearls which she trades to Scavengers often, as well as defending them against enemies. I imagine that she would be frightened of iterators.
Abilities: She can explosive jump, can craft Electric spears and Pearls, and can breathe underwater for an extended period of time(Way longer than a regular slugcat should). She is a bit faster than the average slugcat as well.
10 pm yap session is over

I love your art so much!!! If you're still doing doodles I'll throw my little guys in.
The first one is The Forager. He was traded to Scavengers as a pup and was raised by them. He's non-verbal due to their communication methods and really loves shiny things. He has better aim with spears due to being trained by scavengers and has increased reputation with them already. His story quest is to try and befriend different species for The Chieftan to better open up trading opportunities.
The second one is The Mimic and is sort of like a chameleon, having the same sort of function white lizards do and blending in. He's very muscular and has a strong grip with his curled tail. He ends up meeting an Iterator named Recording Endless Novelties and they ask it to find specimens for them to study. It's hard of hearing and mainly uses sign language to communicate with it's iterator and others.
i like chameleons . silliest of guys

I just saw you also do iterators (sorry for the roblox thing, thats the original thing i gave as a ref to the one who drew the chibi version of them, you are free to decide how their outfit would be since i dont think the jacket and pants fits that well)
hi i tried to mess around with the outfit a little i hope you like it . you're free to use this and tweak things up further if you want to. no credit needed for the design, just this specific image in case you post it anywhere - just some notes i thought i could add relating to it: -> i tried to play around with the storm part of the name by adding it into the looks -> i swapped out the ripped looking end of the scarf for one meant to look like a rain cloud -> continuing with the rain theme, i gave them light blue pearls attached to this grey chest piece to look like rain drops -> i wasn't sure what to do with the red part of the outfit, so i kept it simple and easy to edit for any future ideas

Frogcat is just a really fat messager who’s mom is dead and the evil version of them is trying to kill them
circuit was an abandoned project by an iterator due to personal problems and now they walk around like a freak
Mirage’s wife and kids died in a tragic shaded cidadel incident and now she sees visions of them n stuff
I don’t think this lore matters but they are friends

Strelitzia's Bestiary
-> link to my main rw ocs
this is an example of some of the hybrids BSF has created
more info below cut
-> Mimic Lizards
• Hidden beneath the ground of Overrun Allotment (the region, in which BSF's can is found), these lizards lie in wait. They dig massive burrows and tunnel systems, in which a whole lounge of these lizards reside. They let their monster kelp-like antennae and pole plant-like tails stick out of the dirt, hoping to snag any potential prey passing by. These appendages are prehensile, letting them grab onto whatever is near, after which the lizards quickly lunge out of the ground to attack. • They are separated into two sub-species; Red and Green (based on the kelp antennae). These two do not mix when it comes to packs and instead are aggressive towards each other. Even in the case of attacking a prey item, these lizards will instead focus their aggression towards each other if they spot one another. • They do not have the telepathy ability like their purely yellow lizard counterpart and instead communicate by thumping their kelp-like antennae against the dirt in specific ways and beats.
-> Lantern Scavengers
• Found within the darker parts of OA. Lantern Scavengers move around in groups, much like normal Scavengers. However, compared to them, the Lantern Scavengers are much more easily scared, thanks to their Lantern Mice attributes. They are smaller than a Scavenger, but larger than a Lantern Mouse. • More likely to attack in case they are startled. They do not give any warning shots and instead immediately throw a spear at whatever they perceive as a threat before running away. In case there is no place to run, they will aggro completely. On the other hand, they are easier to befriend and will either accompany those they trust to provide a light source or simply offer one of their unique lantern spears as substitute. • The more a Lantern Scavenger glows, the higher is their reputation within their own ranks. Highest ranking Lantern Scavengers carry the largest lantern spear as a staff. If a Lantern Scavenger with minimal glow exists within a tribe, they'll be the first one to be casted out as a sacrificial lamb in case of great danger.
-> Dropwings
• Quick and agile, these Dropping Vultures prefer to ambush their prey instead of giving chase. Taking after the normal Dropwig, they set up item traps and fly high above it out of sight. If a suitable prey grabs said item, they will stoop and attack, crashing into the ground right onto their kill. If they miss, they will be stunned for a moment before attempting to leap for their prey about once or twice before flying off again. • Solitary and territorial. Will chase off other Dropwings from their hunting grounds. Much like normal Vultures, they will also attack their maskless kin to the death. May cannibalize on maskless Dropping Vultures if they win the fight. • Smaller than normal Vultures.
-> Miros Spiders
• Also found within the darker sub-regions. Miros Spiders are very fast runners and won't hesitate to pounce at anything that moves. Their approach is very predictable, thanks to the loud snapping of their jaws, the sound of their scrambling feet and the rustling sound of their quills. It's easy to tell when they're about to lunge, as they stop their running, crouch and emit a hiss-like sound from their mechanical limbs in a lengthy windup before finally springing forward. Their lunge windup is longer than that of a Wolf Spider. • They are able to climb like a Wolf Spider and are more attentive to their surroundings than the typical Miros Bird. Instead of aimlessly running back and forth, they have specific paths and trails they follow in mind. The rooms they're found most commonly in are marked, courtesy of the Lantern Scavengers. • Very sensitive to flashbangs, even more so that the typical Miros Bird, but they won't be killed like the Wolf Spider. They won't be stunned, but will exit the area entirely and only return after a certain amount of time has passed. • Absolute bastards.

ok . ocs .
we got three main ones
here you can see some extra ones -> strelitzia's hybrids
More info about them below cut
-> The Myrmidon
"A strange slugcat and blind follower, the Myrmidon, is tasked with yet another gruelling challenge."
• Purposed organism made by Blossoming Strelitzia Fields. Canonically named "Buddy." It's original purpose was to keep BSF company and do mundane tasks and fetch quests upon the iterator's request. • A rather peculiar mix of slugcat, lizard and centipede. While it's mind is more so that of a slugcat, it has the ability to climb and scale walls easily thanks to it's lizard traits. It's body is covered in plates and spines. It has sharp teeth. Myrmidon also has three limbs resembling centipede legs. These don't exactly work like typical legs and are more similar to prolegs, aiding Myrmidon with stability rather than any real mobility. • Has a tendency to bite. • Avoids sporepuffs like the plague. Having one thrown at it will stun and daze it, but not kill it. • Doesn't like water -> struggles with swimming and is more prone to flailing around instead. • After the accident(tm), it is sent out by BSF to take care of it all.
-> Blossoming Strelitzia Fields
A good-intentioned, but stubborn and painfully naive iterator, who does more harm than he at first realises.
• "BSF" or "Strelitzia" for short. • Finds the Big Problem to be stupid -> he doesn't quite understand the want for ascension. He is very optimistic and prefers to look for a reason to enjoy existence rathen than try to escape it. • It leads to him toying around with the local flora and fauna of a region eventually known as "Overrun Allotment" (OA). He takes the already existing creatures and mixes n mashes them as he sees fit, creating weird if not downright monstrous beings. This leads to Myrmidon's creation among other things. While this is an act of curiosity without any sort of malicious thought behind it, Strelitzia didn't consider the consequences it all may have. • Upon receiving backlash from his fellow iterators (and LFOC especially), he stubbornly turns off his communications, thinking they're all just misunderstanding or far too biased in their opinion on the Big Problem. He thinks that they're judging him and his decisions far too harshly. • At one point, the gates to OA break down and his beasts are set loose into the surrounding regions. The untampered ecosystem can hardly combat the sudden swarm of invasive species and so, despite his own worry and fear, he sends out Myrmidon on it's biggest task yet; find a way to fix the gates and either herd back or kill all escapees. • Before disaster struck (and after it's been dealt with) he's tried his hand at plenty of things -> he's tried gardening, though that didn't exactly go over well with the lack of natural light within his chamber. He also likes to draw onto the walls of his chamber using fruit brought to him by the Myrmidon.
-> Lost Flock of Crows
Hard-headed, argumentative, cold, if not sometimes downright mean iterator.
• "LFOC" or "Crows" for short. • Strelitzia's "neighbor" and ex-friend. • The two used to get along at one point, but he's quickly grown irritated with BSF after the latter decided to meddle with the ecosystem. It led to him finding BSF childish and insufferable, specifically after he's tried to talk some sense into the other iterator. He is the most vocal when it comes to the criticism of BSF's actions, going as far as contacting other iterators and asking for their opinions of Strelitzia's experiments, compiling them and forwarding them to the guy himself. • Is something of a bully with the way he enjoys gossiping and talking about everything and anything going down with his little friend group. Very talkative, even if his conversation topics aren't always all nice and fun. • He is visited by Myrmidon during the beastie's quest and is indifferent towards it. He finds it repulsive due to it's nature and who it belongs to, but he isn't hostile towards it. In fact, he warms up to it eventually.

yayyyy yayyyy yipppeeeee yayyyy
YOU JUST KNOW I GOTTA SEND THIS IN
The Myrmidon is the purposed organism and friend of a reckless iterator named Blossoming Strelitzia Fields. They'd do mundane tasks (like bringing fruit and trinkets to BSF's chamber upon request) and hang around the iterator, mainly keeping them company as BSF hopes to explore the beauty of existence rather than try to solve the Big Problem.
BSF had a habit of toying around with the flora and fauna within a certain region eventually known as Overrun Allotment. Plants grew rampant and the creatures living within were bordering on monstrous. This was frowned upon by the other iterators BSF would interact with before he cut contact with them due to their criticism.
Disaster struck and the gates to OA broke down, accidentally setting the hybrids loose into the surrounding world. Unsure of what else to do, BSF sets his buddy out on a daunting task — herd back or kill anything that has escaped.
Emissary is really only violent towards other enemy creatures, like vultures, lizards, etc. so I think Emissary would def be . not friendly with them, promptly defending themself, at least until they realize that its (sort of) a slugcat and not violent towards Emi, then they would be more trusting and not immediately attempt 2 attack on sight
