writing tips? or like what do you do if your post doesn't show up on tags? anyways, love you!

Um, tips, okur.

Depends on what you're writing.

Songs. I like to get a title and a topic and work my way from there.

Smut, it's a lot easier to write about something and someone you're into.

Fluff, random daydreams you've come up with.

Angst, based off of shitty things you've experienced or your nightmares that seem realistic.

Writing tips in general.

Learn to know about punctuation and what you do wrong.

I, for example, use too many commas. Like, way too many. It hasn't changed.

Two, don't use too many adjectives, it gets fucking annoying. You don't need to describe every noun that is mentioned, especially not with more than one adjective.

Three, find out the way you prefer to write. Headcanons, blurbs, series, etc.

Four, find inspiration.

You can do this through songs, pictures, etc. Having a journal that you write your dreams, both ones that you have when sleeping and random ones you have during the day, is a really good idea, I have based a lot of my works on different accounts on daydreams I've had.

Five, proofread.

Six, write what you want. Refuse to write things as well, if you're not comfortable.

Seven, be careful when writing about things that could be offensive or triggering. Such as racism, sexuality and gender identity (do your research or you might accidentally say something rude), self harm, sexual assault, abuse, etc.

And for the final thing about your works not coming up in tags, I'd just advise trying to repost it but I'm not really sure.

Sidenote: if you're writing on mobile, don't use Tumblr drafts because you will try and upload your post and it will delete your work. I advise writing your work on another app and then, copying it onto Tumblr, even when you're on a laptop.

you had been watching a movie with Chenle but he soon fell asleep, his head on your shoulder as his hand clasped yours.
