i guess this has been a long time coming, but i figured i’d make an official post about it. i’d like to announce that i’m officially leaving the rotumblr community.

there are quite a few reasons i’ve come to this decision. but i’m not trying to bore everyone to tears, so i’ll keep it short. i’ve been involved in this community for a long while. well over a year, and as time went on writing on here became less and less fun. i kept going for a long while even after i was sick of it, but to make a long story short, i’m tired. i’m not obligated to continue existing in this space. i’m an adult, i have many things to worry about, and my interests have expanded beyond pokemon. i simply don’t have it in me to continue.

that said, i will always cherish the memories i made here. met a lot of great people, made a lot of friends, had a lot of fun. but it’s time to move on with my life. thanks for everything, rotumblr community. and goodnight.

[ sinnoh above, where had they come from. if not for her exhaustion, kali likely would’ve jumped out of her skin at wyrm’s sudden appearance. they just…showed up. ]

[ she managed a tiny smile. they’d forgotten they’d invited her over, hadn’t they? well, no matter. kali didn’t really care one way or the other, as long as she got to enjoy their company in peace. it was always so calm here in the tangle, no interviews, no cameras, no nosy reporters digging into her personal affairs. nothing but tranquility and the company of a close friend. her best friend, in fact.

she hadn’t the energy to carry on the conversation herself. to say the past few days had been exhausting would be the understatement of the century. silently, she hopes and prays to whatever deities reside in the heavens, that they never find out about her meltdown.

what would they think of her if they did…? no, she couldn’t afford to lose them. ]

[ i definitely didn’t fall asleep and forget to send this no sireeeee. ]

[ it’s dark out. the only resource to break up the pitch black of the tangle was the tiny mushrooms illuminating the path. the path she wouldn’t dare stray away from.

though in all honesty, being ripped to shreds by wild pokemon didn’t sound all to bad at this point. at least she would have…peace. she stops for just a moment.

what was she doing here?

quite frankly, she wasn’t in the mood to leave her home. she’d much rather rot away locked inside the house, but at the same time. she simply needed to see them. she couldn’t quite explain why either. she just…had to.

and that’s why she finds herself out in the tangle this late at night. ]

[The lamp was bright, blindingly bright at this point. Illuminating a vacant sewing machine, fabric waiting to be turned into something, anything. Wyrm paced the floor, a horrible creative block frustrating it to no end, not to mention how uncomfortable it is to grow wings back. Eurgh. They just need to take a step onto the balcony, get some fresh air, ground themselves, servey the forest, 5 things you can see 4 you can feel so on so on...]

[A mushroom, another mushroom, that one isn't a mushroom that's a shiinotic- Kali, a mannequin it should probably bring back inside, nothing interesting.]

[Kali???? Forget everything else it's Kali! It had entirely forgotten about inviting her, mind purely focused on the need to create. They bounded down the stairs, almost entirely forgetting shoes, alright, wyrm, control yourself, you are a calm collected individual and this isn't weird or gay or strange at all and you are normal, yes? OK. Cool.]

[It wasn't too long, maybe 5 minutes or so before Wyrm emerged from the underbrush and onto the path, a smile all too wide gracing their face]

"Kali! My friend what are you do-" [their smiled faltered slightly] "..no no those are not the right words I invited you I know very well what you're doing here- wonderful of you to take me up on my offer! Hello!"
