Fic idea: AU in which Ciel somehow inexplicably keeps Alois’ soul in his body and they solve mysteries together while trying to figure out how to give Alois a new body. They take turns piloting the meat suit and realise that they’re really good at this because the other fills in gaps in their own knowledge and skill sets.

Aeons ago, I arrived to this world looking for good bread. Unfortunately, humans that could make them didn't exist yet so I picked a spot on this mass of dirt in the beautiful darkness and made a wish. Soon enough, people appeared, making the best bread on the world: la baguette.
