Title: A Parisian Encounter
Summary: You and Paige meet at Paris fashion week
The streets of Paris buzzed with an energy that felt almost electric as you stepped out of your hotel, your heart racing with anticipation. The air was crisp and laced with the scent of freshly baked croissants, wafting from nearby patisseries, inviting you into the romantic embrace of the city. Today was a landmark event—your debut at Paris Fashion Week. The thought of mingling with the elite of fashion, cinema, music, etc. sent shivers down your spine, a blend of excitement and nerves dancing in your stomach like butterflies.
Dressed in a sleek black dress that hugged your silhouette just right, you felt an air of sophistication. As you approached the venue, a magnificent structure that blended contemporary artistry with classic Parisian architecture, you couldn’t help but marvel at the grandeur surrounding you. The cacophony of cameras clicking, voices murmuring in various languages, and the occasional burst of laughter set the perfect backdrop for your first day.
Taking your seat in the front row, you glanced around, soaking in the illustrious atmosphere. The dimming lights signaled the beginning of the show, and as the first model stepped onto the runway, you were entranced. But amidst the waves of fabric and the rhythm of heels clicking against the floor, a familiar figure caught your eye.
Paige Bueckers, the basketball prodigy and rising star, slipped into the seat beside you. Draped in an oversized, yet impeccably tailored purple blazer, she exuded confidence and charm. The air around her seemed to hum with excitement, and you felt a rush of warmth at her presence.
“Wow, you look amazing! What brings you here?” Paige asked, her eyes sparkling with genuine curiosity as she leaned in.
“I’m here for the fashion…obviously,” you replied, a playful smile dancing on your lips. “It’s my first time at Fashion Week, so I’m just soaking it all in.”
Paige nodded, clearly excited. “You picked the right place! It’s a whirlwind, but I love every minute of it. Speaking of love, how about dinner after this? I’d love to hear more about your projects.”
Caught off guard by a wave of different thoughts, you hesitated. The glimmer in her eyes was infectious, but you felt a sudden wave of shyness. “Oh, I really should focus on networking and getting to know people,” you said lightly, hoping to keep the mood bright.
“Fair enough,” she replied, her smile unwavering, though a flicker of disappointment passed through her gaze. “Maybe next time?”
The show continued, but you could feel the tension lingering between you, the unspoken possibilities hanging in the air like a tantalizing perfume.
The next day dawned bright and clear, the sun casting a warm golden hue over the bustling streets of Paris. As you made your way to the next venue, the anticipation of seeing Paige again quickened your heartbeat. The city felt alive, with the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze and the distant sound of laughter ringing through the air.
Seated once more in the front row, you scanned the crowd, and soon enough, Paige appeared, her aura magnetic as she waved excitedly from across the room. Dressed in a striking ensemble that showcased her unique style, she maneuvered through the throng of admirers with effortless grace until she reached you.
“Look who it is!” she beamed, her eyes lighting up as she took her seat. “Didn’t think you’d come back!”
“Of course! I can’t get enough of this place…plus, this is the whole reason I’m here,” you joked, her enthusiasm enveloping you.
As the show commenced, you found yourselves deep in conversation. Paige spoke animatedly about the latest trends, her passion infectious. “I love how fashion can tell a story, you know? Like, each piece has a life of its own,” she mused, her fingers tapping lightly on the armrest in rhythm with her excitement.
After the last model made her walk, the crowd erupted in applause, and Paige turned to you, her expression hopeful. “So, about that dinner? I like talking wit you, and want spend some more time together.”
You felt a pang of temptation. The idea of spending time with her was appealing, but you wanted to keep the allure alive. “I appreciate it, really, but I’m swamped with meetings and press stuff,” you said, trying to keep your tone light, though you could see the disappointment flickering in her eyes.
“Got it! I understand,” she said quickly, her smile faltering for a moment before she rallied. “Maybe next time then?”
The two of you continued chatting, but the air felt charged, a sense of something unfulfilled lingering just beneath the surface. You could see the passion and determination in her eyes, but for now, you felt compelled to maintain the mystery between you.
As the final day of Fashion Week unfolded, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation. You arrived at the venue, your heart fluttering at the thought of what was to come. The excitement of the past few days had created a whirlwind of connections and memories, but it was your growing connection with Paige that lingered most prominently in your mind.
You spotted her almost immediately as she made her way through the crowd, her energy undeniable. Dressed impeccably in a sleek outfit that showcased her unforgettable style, she approached you with a gleam in her eyes. “You look incredible today!” she exclaimed, her lively energy reeling you in, allowing your already excited nature to reach a new peak.
“Why thank you. You look good yourself, as always,” you replied, feeling a familiar warmth bloom in your chest.
As the final models glided down the runway, the energy in the room reached a fever pitch. When the last designer took their bow, the applause roared through the venue. Turning to you, Paige leaned in with an earnest expression. “So, may I finally get that chance, to take you out. I would love to spend some of my final hours here in Paris with you,” she says, her confident tone and charming smile, making it difficult for you to say no, once more.
You took a moment though, weighing the excitement bubbling within you against the thrill of the chase. This time, however, your heart spoke louder than your reservations. “You know what? Yes, let’s do it,” you replied, a smile breaking across your face, doing very little portray the actual amount of overwhelming joy you felt throughout your body and mind.
Paige’s face lit up, her grin wide and radiant. “Really? Awesome! I’ll make a reservation at this amazing little bistro I found. You’ll love it!”
As you left the venue, the Parisian sunset painted the sky in hues of pink and orange, and you felt the magic of the city wrap around you like a soft blanket.
The dinner was enchanting—a blend of laughter, shared stories, and the warmth of connection that felt effortless.
Over candlelight, you shared tales of your careers, dreams, and aspirations. Paige was as captivating off the court as she was on, her confidence radiating with every word. As the evening progressed, you found yourselves lost in conversation, the outside world fading away.
It felt as if you guys known each other your whole life. The conversation never having a dull moment, or awkward pocket of silence.
“So, do you ever feel like you’re in a movie? Besides when your actually filming for a movie,” Paige says, lightly giggling at her comment, “I mean, here we are, in Paris, during Paris Fashion Week, making our dreams come true, mingling with the highest of people,” her eyes reflecting the flickering candlelight.
“It definitely feels surreal,” you replied, feeling a giddy rush at the moment. “But it’s even better when you’re sharing it with someone who gets it. Someone, who can understand the insanity of what we’ve accomplished at such young and crazy points of our lives.”
By the end of the night, as you both left the bistro, the cool air felt refreshing against your skin. “Let’s keep in touch,” Paige said, her voice earnest. “I feel like there’s so much more to explore between us.”
In the weeks that followed, your lives began to intertwine more deeply. Text messages turned into long phone calls, and you both found joy in sharing the mundane and the extraordinary. You navigated the complexities of your careers together, each interaction deepening the bond that began at Paris Fashion Week.
A/N: I apologize for my two week hiatus. I was extremely stressed with school, and had to regather. Love you guys. Also Paige is so fine in that butterfly fit, just muah. 🤍

Title: A Lesson in Empathy
Summary: Caitlin leaves you helpless during a party
The pulsating beats of the party thrummed through Caitlin’s veins as she pulled you through the front door. The house was a packed, chaotic whirl of bodies, laughter, and flashing lights. Caitlin’s excitement was palpable, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.
“Come on, Yn, this is gonna be so fucking sick!” Caitlin said, her voice barely audible over the music. “I promise you’ll enjoy it once you get into it. Just stay by my side and trust me” Even with the loud music, you could hear the confidence dripping from her voice. With confidence like that how could you not trust her?
Even though your uneasiness was evident, you shift your weight shifted her weight, trying to appear more confident then you felt. You glanced around once more at the sea of unfamiliar faces, and instantly felt that “confidence”, be replaced with anxiety and fear. “I don’t really like big crowds, Caitlin. I’m not sure I’ll fit in.”
Caitlin’s face fell slightly, but she quickly masked her disappointment with a smile. “Please? Just try it out for a bit. I really want you here with me.” Just like that you were back in.
Despite your apprehensions, you nodded reluctantly, there was just no way you could say no to her. “Alright…but you promise to not ditch me”
“I promise I won’t leave you. Come on!” She replied her voice filled with excitement.
As you entered the party, Caitlin was immediately swept up by the crowd. She started chatting with friends, her energy contagious. But as the minutes ticked by, you felt increasingly abandoned, standing alone amidst the cacophony of the party.
The noise, the crowd, and Caitlin’s absence started to close in on you. Your heart raced, breathing shallow, and you felt a wave of panic crash over you. You tried to steady herself, but the anxiety only grew more intense. You felt trapped, the walls of the house closing in on you.
Desperate to escape the overwhelming chaos, you slipped away to a quieter corner of the house. Your breaths came in ragged gasps as you sat down, tears spilling uncontrollably. Your vision was blurred, and the room seemed to be spinning around her. The feeling of being utterly alone in this massive crowd was completely suffocating you, second by second.
Caitlin, lost in the revelry, didn’t notice your distress until she glanced around and realized you were nowhere to be seen. A pang of concern struck her as she began searching for her girlfriend, moving through the crowd with growing anxiety.
When Caitlin finally found you, you were huddled in a corner, with your face buried in your hands, her heart sank. She knelt beside you, the weight of her realization hitting hard. “Y/N… I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize. I’m so sorry I wasn’t paying attention”
You looked up, your face streaked with tears and your eyes filled with hurt. “You left me here, Caitlin. I told you I didn’t want to come. You knew ahead of time that I’d be anxious in a place like this.” Your voice laced with frustration and tiredness.
Caitlin’s heart broke at the sight of your pain. “I didn’t mean to. I got caught up in the party and completely lost track of time. I’m so sorry for being so thoughtless and inconsiderate.”
You shook your head, voice trembling. “It’s not just about tonight, Caitlin. It’s about you not being there for me when I needed you. You were supposed to be my support, but instead, you left me alone.”
Caitlin’s guilt was overwhelming. She reached out, gently taking your hand. “I know I messed up. I should have been more aware of how you were feeling. Let’s get out of here. I’ll take you home and make it up to you.”
They left the party in silence, the car ride home leaves with a heavy tension. Caitlin could barely look at you, her mind racing with regret. She had let her own excitement blind her to your needs, and the weight of that mistake was crushing her.
Back at your apartment, Caitlin set up a calming space with blankets and dim lighting. She made hot chocolate and set out your favorite snacks, trying to create a soothing environment. Her heart ached as she watched you sit quietly on the couch, the pain still evident in your eyes.
Caitlin sat beside you, her voice soft but laden with remorse. “I know I can’t undo what happened tonight, but I want to do whatever I can to make it right. I’m really sorry for ignoring how you were feeling. I really fucked up.”
You looked at Caitlin, the hurt still fresh but a hint of understanding mingled underneath. “I appreciate that you’re trying to make it better, but it’s going to take more than just words. I need you to actually be there for me when I’m struggling, I’m a situation like that, not just when it’s convenient.”
Caitlin nodded, her eyes filled with sincerity. “I promise I’ll work on it. I’ll be more mindful of how you’re feeling and make sure you’re not left alone like that again. You mean too much to me for me to keep making these mistakes.” She said gently using your forehead.
As the night wore on, you and Caitlin, both talked openly about your feelings and the importance of mutual support in your growing relationship. Caitlin’s regret was palpable, but so was her commitment to learning and growing from the experience.
When you finally settled in for the night, Caitlin held you close, her heart full of resolve. She knew it would take time to rebuild trust, but she was determined to make things right. And as you both drifted off to sleep, Caitlin silently vowed to be a better partner, one who would always be there for you, no matter the circumstances. Why? Cause if she lost you, she’d feel the same amount of hopelessness that you felt earlier.

Title: Breaking the Press
Summary: Paige wants to be more then teammates
Paige was already drenched in sweat, her heart pounding in sync with the squeaking sneakers on the court. Practice had been brutal, but that was nothing new. She thrived in the chaos, in the exhaustion, in the moments when the game demanded everything from her.
“Y/N, hit me on the wing!” Paige shouted, her voice cutting through the noise as she sprinted down the court.
You had the ball, your eyes scanning the defense like a hawk. You were the calm in the storm, Paige’s perfect counterpart on the court. Where Paige was fire, you were the ice, and together you burned through the defense like wildfire.
Your pass was clean, crisp, and exactly where it needed to be. Paige caught it in stride, barely breaking her momentum before rising up for a three. The ball sailed through the air, spinning in slow motion, and then – swish. Nothing but net.
“That’s what I’m talking about Paige! You yelled, grinning as you jogged back on defense. Paige gave you a quick wink, her usual way of saying ‘thanks.’
The practice continued, a blur of drills, scrimmages, and sweat-soaked jerseys. By the time Coach finally blew the whistle, the team was wiped, but satisfied. Paige wiped her forehead with the back of her hand, her eyes finding yours across the court. There was something about the way you moved, the quiet confidence that always caught Paige’s attention. It wasn’t just that you were a great player – it was the way you seemed to understand Paige without needing words.
As everyone filed into the locker room, Paige hung back, waiting for you. She needed to talk to you, about something more than basketball, something she’d been pushing down for a while.
“Hey, you got a minute?” Paige asked, trying to keep her voice casual.
You looked up, slightly surprised but nodding. “Yeah, what’s up?”
You both walked out the locker room, the noise of the team fading as you headed towards the empty bleachers. The gym was quieter now, the only sound being the faint echo of your footsteps.
Paige sat down on one of the lower bleachers, you joining her. For a moment, neither of you spoke, the silence stretching out between the two of you. Paige fiddled with the hem of her jersey, trying to find the right words.
“You ever feel like… I don’t know, like something’s missing in life?” Paige finally said, her voice quieter than usual.
You looked at her, your eyebrows raised. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t know, it’s just, lately, I’ve been thinking a lot. About the game, about life, about…the future.” Paige’s heart was racing now, and she could feel her palms getting sweaty. This wasn’t like her – she was usually so confident, and sure of herself. But now all she could think about was, what if everything went wrong.
You didn’t say anything, just waited, your eyes never leaving Paige’s. That was the thing about you– you were patient, always letting Paige take the lead.
“I guess what I’m trying to say is…I want you in my future. Not just as a team mate but more. You mean a lot to me. Not just on the court, but… in every way. I don’t want to mess things up, but I can’t keep pretending that I don’t feel something more.”
You blinked, your expression unreadable. For a moment, Paige thought what she dreaded the most was happening, that she’d ruined everything and made a midrange. But then, you smiled – that slow, warm smile that always made Paige’s heart skip a beat.
“I’ve been waiting for you to say that,” you said softly.
Paige felt a wave of relief wash over her, a grin spreading across her face. “So, where do we go from here?”
You chuckled, leaning back on the bleachers. “Wherever we want. We’re a team. We’ll figure it out together.”
Paige nodded, feeling the weight lift off her shoulders. She reached out her hand, it finding yours naturally. For the first time in a long time, Paige felt like everything was exactly where it was supposed to be. And the only thought in her mind now was her future… her future with you.
A/N: Not my best work 😔.

Title: Something More than more (part 2)
Summary: part 2 of ‘Something More’, you have kids
Four years had passed since that unforgettable night on the beach, and life had changed in the most beautiful ways for you and Paige. You were now married, and your world had expanded in ways both of you could have never imagined—most notably with the arrival of your twin daughters, Olivia and Emma.
The early morning sun streamed into your cozy home, casting a golden glow over the living room where toys were scattered in cheerful chaos. The sound of little feet pitter-pattering down your hallway was quickly followed by a chorus of giggles as Olivia and Emma burst into the room, their blonde curls bouncing as they ran.
“Mommy! Mama!” they squealed in unison, launching themselves onto the couch where Paige and your were snuggled up together, sipping coffee and enjoying a once in lifetime moment of silence.
Paige grinned, setting her mug down just in time to catch Olivia in her arms. “Good morning, my little monsters,” she teased, tickling her daughter’s sides, earning more giggles.
You laughed as Emma climbed onto your lap, her small hands tugging at your hair with a mischievous smile. “What are you two doing up this early?” You asked, while kissing Emma’s forehead.
“Playing hide and seek!” Olivia declared proudly, squirming out of Paige’s grasp and running off to hide in the most obvious spot in the room…the curtains.
Paige exchanged a playful glance with you shaking her head in amusement. “They’re terrible at hiding,” she whispered with a chuckle.
“Give them a few more years,” you replied, smiling as she stroked Emma’s hair. “One day they’ll be just as good as you” you joked.
“Baby… you already know, no one will ever be as good as me. I’m the hide and seek goat.” she flexed.
As you played along with the twins’ game of hide and seek, Paige couldn’t help but marvel at how far you’d come. Four years ago, she’d proposed on a beach at sunset, her heart pounding with the uncertainty of the future. Now, the future was here, and it was filled with more love and joy than she’d ever imagined. (She also marveled at her skill in hide and seek :)
After a few rounds of hide and seek—you and Paige finally managed to convince the girls to sit down for breakfast.
The kitchen was alive with the smell of pancakes and syrup, and the chatter of the twins filled the room as Paige flipped pancakes at the stove. You set the table, sneaking glances at Paige, your heart swelling with the kind of love that had only grown deeper over the years.
“So, any plans for today?” You asked casually, leaning against the counter and watching Paige work her magic with the pancakes.
Paige shrugged, a small smile playing on her lips. “I was thinking we could take the girls to the park. Maybe have a little picnic, I teach them how to shoot. What do you think?”
“Sounds perfect,” You agreed, you eyes sparkling. “The weather’s beautiful, and I know they’ll love it.”
The day unfolded just as you planned—Paige entertaining the twins, with a wide wave of activities, while you just watched from a blanket spread out on the grass, admiring your wide w interact with your daughters.
As the afternoon sun began to dip low in the sky, casting long shadows across the park, Paige leaned back on the blanket tried from playing with the girls, her eyes move towards you, watching you help Emma with her shoelaces.
“You know,” Paige began, her voice soft, “I don’t think I ever imagined life could be this good.”
You looked up, a gentle smile on your lips. “I know what you mean. It’s… everything, isn’t it?”
Paige nodded, her eyes drifting to your daughters, who were now picking dandelions and blowing the seeds into the wind. “I can’t believe how lucky we are. To have this, to have them.”
You moved closer, slipping your hand into Paige’s, your fingers intertwining naturally. “It’s more than I ever dreamed of,” you said quietly, your head resting on Paige’s shoulder.
You both sat there in comfortable silence, watching your girls play as the sky slowly turned from blue to pink. It was moments like these that made all the sleepless nights, the endless piles of laundry, and the chaotic mornings worth it. You were both building something beautiful, something that was uniquely yours.
When the sun finally began to set, casting a warm orange glow over the park, Paige turned to you with a thoughtful look. “You know… this reminds me of that night on the beach. When I proposed.”
You smiled, the memory still fresh in your mind despite the years that had passed. “How could I forget? It was perfect.”
Paige squeezed your hand gently. “I know it sounds cheesy, but I’m even more in love with you now than I was then. Watching you with take care of our girls, seeing how much they adore you… it just makes me fall for you all over again.”
You felt a lump in your throat, your eyes misting up as you looked at Paige. “You always had a way with words P,” you whispered, leaning in to kiss her softly.
“Mommy, Mama! Look what we found!” Olivia called out, interrupting the moment as she and Emma came running over, their hands full of dandelions.
Paige and you pulled apart, laughing as the girls tumbled onto the blanket, dandelion seeds floating around them like tiny stars.
“Wow, those are beautiful!” Paige exclaimed, taking one of the dandelions from Olivia and blowing the seeds into the air.
“Make a wish, Mommy!” Emma said, holding out a dandelion to you.
You smiled, closing your eyes and making a silent wish before blowing the seeds away. When you opened your eyes, you found Paige watching you with a soft, adoring expression.
“What did you wish for?” Paige asked, her voice tender.
You shook your head, a playful smile on your lips. “If I told you, it won’t come true.”
Paige laughed, wrapping her arm around your shoulders as you watched your daughters chase after the floating dandelion seeds.
But the thing is you didn’t wish for anything. There was no need to—everything you had ever wanted was right there, in that moment, with the woman you loved and the family you had built together.
And you knew, deep down, that the story you were building was far from over. There was still so many adventures to come, so many more memories to make. And you would face it all together, just like you always had.
As the last rays of the setting sun bathed the park in golden light, Paige leaned in and kissed your forehead, a silent promise of everything that was yet to be.
A/N: I hope you guys like this as much as I do. Thank you all so fucking much for the support, I’m completely overjoyed. Enjoy the day :)

Title: Something More (part 1)
Summary: Paige proposes
The morning sun poured through the curtains, casting a warm glow over Paige as she lay in bed, her eyes fixed on the ceiling.
She turned her head slightly to look at you, finding you still sleeping soundly beside her. Paige couldn’t help but smile. Even after three years, waking up next to you felt like the best part of her day.
Paige carefully slipped out of bed, trying not to wake you. She needed to get a head start on her plans, but first, she had one very important task: asking for permission.
Paige stood nervously in front of your family’s house, her hands sweating despite the cool morning breeze. She’d been here countless times, but this time was different. This time, she wasn’t just your girlfriend, but your girlfriend asking for the future.
Your father opened the door with a warm smile. “Paige! Good to see you, come on in.”
Inside, your two brothers were already waiting, sitting around the kitchen table with curious expressions. Paige took a deep breath, steadying herself as she walked in and took a seat.
“So, what’s this about?” Your older brothers asked, a teasing smile on their face.
Paige looked at them, her heart pounding. She’d never been this nervous before, not even before her biggest games. But this was bigger than any game.
“I wanted to talk to you all because… well, I’m planning to propose to Y/N,” Paige started, her voice steady but her hands trembling slightly. “I love her more than anything, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. But before I do, I wanted to ask for your blessing.”
The room was silent for a moment, and Paige felt like she might pass out from the tension. But then your father smiled, a warm, approving smile that made Paige’s heart swell with relief.
“You’ve always treated her right, Paige. You have my blessing,” he said, his voice filled with genuine affection.
Your brothers nodded in agreement, their teasing smiles replaced with sincere ones. “You’ve got ours too. We know how much you love her.”
Paige let out a breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding, her smile wide and relieved. “Thank you. It means a lot.”
The next morning Paige woke up early, her heart racing with excitement. Today was your three-year anniversary, and everything HAD to be perfect. She turned to see you still asleep, your face peacefully, relaxed with a stand off hate covering it. Paige smiled softly, feeling that familiar warmth fill her chest, and lightly moved the stand away.
She carefully slipped out of bed and started getting ready. Breakfast was the first step—a cozy little spot in the city that you loved. Paige wanted everything to feel special, but still natural, like any other day you spent together.
When you finally woke up, Paige was already dressed and ready to go. “Morning, beautiful,” Paige said with a grin, leaning down to kiss your forehead. “Happy anniversary.”
You smiled sleepily, stretching out before sitting up. “Morning, babe. Happy anniversary.”
You got ready and then headed out, the day already feeling perfect as you walked hand in hand to the breakfast spot. The morning was crisp, the city just starting to wake up, and Paige couldn’t help but feel like everything was falling into place.
Over breakfast, you both reminisced about your favorite memories together—trips you’d taken, nights spent laughing until your sides hurt, the little moments that made your relationship what it was.
After breakfast, you headed to the movies, a classic date that you both loved. You leaned against Paige during the movie, your head resting on Paige’s shoulder, and Paige felt a surge of affection as she gently kissed the top of your head. She couldn’t wait to ask you the biggest question of their lives.
Once the movie was over, Paige casually suggested, “How about you get your nails done and do some shopping with the girls? I’ll pick you up later for dinner.”
You looked at her, raising an eyebrow. “Are you planning something?”
Paige grinned, trying to keep it cool. “Maybe. Just go with it, okay?”
You laughed softly, shaking your head but agreeing. “Alright, alright. I’ll go get pampered.”
While you were out with your friends, Paige went into full preparation mode. She drove out to the beach, her heart racing as she began setting everything up. The spot she’d chosen was perfect—secluded enough for privacy but with a breathtaking view of the sunset.
She laid out a blanket, surrounded by candles that would light up the moment. The centerpiece was a small table with a bottle of champagne and two glasses. Nearby, a small speaker was ready to play your song. Paige took a step back, looking over everything, trying to steady her nerves.
This was it.
When everything was finally set, Paige picked up her phone to text you. Ready when you are. See you soon, babe.
When Paige pulled up to pick you up, her heart skipped a beat. You looked absolutely stunning, your freshly done nails gleaming in the evening light, and the shopping bags from your day with friends only adding to your radiant smile, that driver get crazy.
“Had fun?” Paige asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
“The best…You’re up to something, aren’t you?” You eased as you got in the car.
Paige just grinned, her heart pounding. “You’ll see.”
You drove in comfortable silence, the anticipation in the air thick enough to cut with a knife. When you finally arrived at the beach, Paige guided you down the path to where she had set everything up.
You gasped as you approached, your eyes wide with surprise. “Paige, this is… this is beautiful.”
Paige couldn’t help but smile, relieved that you liked it. “I wanted to make tonight special.”
You both sat on the blanket, sipping champagne, watching the waves roll in as the sun began to set. The sky turning into a stunning blend of oranges and pinks, the kind of sunset that looked like it was made just for you.
Paige’s heart was racing, her hands sweating as she tried to find the right moment. Finally, as the sun dipped lower, she took a deep breath and turned to face you.
“Y/N, there’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you,” Paige started, her voice soft but steady.
You looked at her, those beautiful eyes filled with curiosity and affection. “What is it?”
Paige reached into her pocket, pulling out the small box she’d been carrying all day. She opened it slowly, revealing the ring inside—a simple, elegant band with a diamond that sparkled in the fading light.
“Y/N, I’ve loved you from the moment I met you. You’ve been my rock, my best friend, my everything. Every day with you feels like a gift I never expected to receive. I can’t imagine my life without you. I don’t want just a piece of you—I want all of you, forever. I want to share every sunrise, every laugh, every tear with you. You’re the love of my life, and I can’t wait to grow old with you and have our own little Paige’s. Will you marry me?”
For a moment, you just stared, your eyes wide with shock and emotion. Paige felt her heart stop, waiting, asking-no, praying for an answer.
Then, your face broke into the biggest, most radiant smile Paige had ever seen. “Yes, P. Of course, yes.”
Relief and joy flooded through Paige as she slipped the ring onto your finger, pulling you into a tight embrace. You both stayed like that for a long time, just holding each other as the waves crashed softly in the background, the sun finally dipping below the horizon.
As you pulled back, you cupped Paige’s face, tears in your eyes but a smile on your lips. “I love you so much, Paige.”
“I love you too, Y/N. More than anything,” Paige whispered, her voice thick with emotion.

Title: A Perfectly Simple Gesture
Summary: Kate asks you out on a date.
Kate Martin had never been this nervous before a date, and she’d been through plenty of them. But today was different. Today, she wasn’t just going to a party or a casual hangout. Today, she was going to ask someone she deeply cared about out on a proper date.
Kate’s heart pounded as she stood outside of your dorm, clutching a bouquet of bright, colorful flowers and a small box of chocolates. It was a crisp autumn afternoon, and the campus was alive with the sounds of students rushing between classes. The leaves had turned shades of orange and gold, making the scene outside your dorm picturesque and fitting for what Kate had planned.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart, and finally knocked on the door. A moment later, you opened it, you face lighting up with a bright, genuine smile when you saw Kate standing there.
“Hey, Kate! What’s up?” You asked, your tone warm and curious.
Kate’s nerves were palpable, but she managed a smile as she held out the flowers and chocolates. “Hey, Y/N. I thought I’d surprise you. I brought these for you.”
Your eyes widened in pleasant surprise as you took the bouquet, inhaling the sweet fragrance of the flowers. “Wow, these are beautiful. Thank you Kate, I love them!” You glanced at the box of chocolates with a grin. “And chocolates too? You’re really going all out.”
Kate chuckled, feeling a bit of her nervousness ease. “I guess I wanted to make today special. I was actually hoping we could talk for a minute. Maybe go out for coffee or dinner?”
Your expression softened, a mixture of surprise and curiosity dancing in your eyes. “Are you asking me out on a date?”
Kate nodded, her face flushing slightly. “Yeah, I guess I am. I’ve been wanting to spend some more time with you, just the two of us. And I thought this might be a nice way to do it.”
Your smile widened, and you stepped aside to let Kate in. “I’d love that. Let me just put these in water and we can talk about it.”
Kate followed you into your dorm, taking in the cozy, personal touches that made the room feel uniquely yours. The walls were adorned with photos and posters, and a small desk was cluttered with textbooks and notes. It felt intimate, and Kate felt a bit more at ease.
You placed the flowers in a vase and set the chocolates on the desk before turning to Kate. “So, where are we going?” You asked, you eyes twinkling with excitement.
“I was thinking we could try that new café down on Main Street. I’ve heard they have amazing lattes and pastries,” Kate suggested. “We could just hang out and see where the day takes us.”
“That sounds perfect,” you replied, your smile never fading. “I’m really glad you asked.”
Kate felt a rush of relief and happiness. “Me too. I’ve been wanting to spend more time with you, and I thought today would be a great chance to do that.”
You spent a few more minutes chatting and laughing, enjoying the easy camaraderie that had always been a part of your interactions. Finally, you headed out together, walking side by side through the autumn afternoon.
As you reached the café, Kate couldn’t help but feel a sense of contentment. Everything seemed to be falling into place perfectly. You ordered your drinks and pastries, finding a cozy corner to sit and talk. The conversation flowing effortlessly, punctuated by shared laughter and meaningful glances.
By the time you both finished your coffee and pastries, the sun was beginning to set, casting a warm, golden glow over the city. Kate walked you back to your dorm, feeling a sense of accomplishment and joy for the day.
Once at your dorm, you paused, you both a bit reluctant for the day to end. You looked at Kate with a soft, appreciative smile. “Thank you for today. It was really amazing.”
Kate smiled back, feeling a surge of warmth. “I’m glad you enjoyed it. I had a great time too.”
You shared a tender hug, and Kate couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement for what might come next. As you closed the door, Kate turned to head back to her own dorm, her heart full of hope and happiness.
The day had been simple but perfect, and Kate knew it was just the beginning of something wonderful.
I would like to thank you, for the support on my last two fix’s. I’m literally so happy. But like seriously thank you. :)
Also I take requests. No smut though. :)

Title: Winter Break
Summary: Paige sees you and is instantly drawn to your shy and kind demeanor
Winter break had always been a time for you to catch up on sleep, binge-watch shows, and avoid responsibilities. But this year was different. Your grandpa, Geno Auriemma, the legendary UConn women’s basketball coach, had invited you to spend a week at his place. It wasn’t unusual—you had visited him plenty of times before—but you were a sophomore in college now, and life was busy. Still, the thought of seeing him was comforting, so you packed your bags and headed to Storrs.
When you arrived at your grandpa’s house, you were greeted with a warm hug and a steaming cup of coffee. The familiar scent of the home filled you with a sense of nostalgia. You both spent the rest of the day catching up, talking about school, and laughing over old memories. It felt like home.
The next day, Geno had to head to the gym for a team practice, and you decided to tag along. You’d always admired the UConn women’s basketball team, even though you weren’t particularly sporty yourself. It was more about spending time with your grandpa and seeing him in his element.
As you sat and watched the players warm up, you noticed one of the girls glancing your way. The girl was, Paige Bueckers, the star of the team. She seemed to be looking directly at you. You felt a flutter in your chest but quickly brushed it off, thinking it was just your imagination.
The practice was intense, and you were mesmerized by how effortlessly Paige moved on the court. She was everything you weren’t—confident, athletic, and, well, hot. As the practice wrapped up, Geno called for a break, and the players began to scatter, grabbing water bottles and chatting with each other.
To your surprise, Paige walked right up to you. “Hey, you’re Geno’s granddaughter, right?”
You felt your cheeks heat up as you nodded. “Yeah, I’m YN. It’s nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you too, YN,” Paige said with a grin. “I’ve heard a lot about you.”
You blinked in surprise. “You have?”
Paige nodded, her eyes twinkling with amusement. “Yep, your grandpa talks about you all the time. He says that you’re the light of his life.”
You felt your heart swell with warmth, toward your grandpa, but before you could respond, Paige added, “I can see why.”
The comment had caught you off guard, and you felt instantly felt yourself getting flustered. Paige chuckled at your reaction, clearly enjoying how easily you had blushed.
“I’m glad you’re here,” Paige said, her tone softer now. “We don’t get many visitors who aren’t basketball fanatics.”
You managed a small smile, trying to ignore the raging butterflies in your stomach. “I’m definitely not a basketball fanatic.”
“That’s okay,” Paige said, her smile widening. “I like people who are different.”
Over the next few days, you found yourself spending more time at the gym than you had anticipated. But it wasn’t just to watch your grandpa coach—it was because of Paige. Every time you were around, Paige would find a way to strike up a conversation, teasing and flirting in a way that made your heart race.
It wasn’t that you didn’t enjoy the attention. Of course you did, why wouldn’t? But you were shy by nature, and Paige’s boldness was both thrilling and intimidating. Paige seemed to take pleasure in your shyness, often leaning in closer than necessary or making a playful comment that would leave you speechless.
One afternoon, while you were sitting in the stands during a particularly grueling practice, Paige took a break and jogged over to you. She was slightly out of breath, her face flushed from exertion, but she still had that playful glint in her eye.
“You look like you’re deep in thought,” Paige said, grabbing a water bottle and taking a long drink.
“Oh, um, not really,” you stammered, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “Just watching.”
Paige raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips. “Watching me, huh?”
Your eyes widened, and you quickly looked down at your hands. “I-I didn’t mean—”
“I’m kidding,” Paige interrupted, laughing softly. “But I do like the idea of you watching me.”
You didn’t know how to respond, so you just nodded, feeling your face grow hotter by the second.
Paige seemed to take pity on you, leaning against the bleachers and giving you a softer look. “You’re cute when you’re flustered, you know that?”
Your heart skipped a beat, but before you could process what Paige had said, your grandpa called for the players to return to the court. Paige winked at you before jogging back to the team, leaving you with a pounding heart, a warm face, and a million thoughts racing through your mind.
As your visit drew to a close, you found yourself dreading the moment you’d have to say goodbye. You’d gotten use to Paige’s teasing comments, the way her eyes seemed to light up whenever she looked at you, and the thrill of being around someone who made you feel so special.
The evening before your last day of the trip, you were sitting on the porch of your grandpa’s house, sipping a cup of hot chocolate and enjoying the crisp winter air. You were lost in thought when you heard the sound of footsteps approaching. You looked up to see Paige walking toward you, a determined expression on her face.
“Hey,” Paige greeted, her breath visible in the cold air. “Mind if I join you?”
“Sure,” you replied, gesturing to the empty chair beside her.
Paige sat down, her hands clasped together as she looked out at the snow-covered yard. For a moment, neither of you spoke, the silence between you comfortable but charged with unspoken words.
Finally, Paige turned to you, her gaze steady. “So, you’re leaving tomorrow, huh?”
“Yeah,” you said quietly, not trusting yourself to say more.
Paige was silent for a moment, then she took a deep breath. “I’ve been wanting to ask you something, but I wasn’t sure if I should.”
You looked at her, your curiosity piqued. “What is it?”
Paige hesitated, then blurted out, “Would you go on a date with me?”
Your eyes widened in surprise, and your heart skipping a beat. “A date?”
“Yeah,” Paige said, her tone a mix of confidence and vulnerability. “I like you, YN. I’ve liked you since the first day I saw you. I know you’re shy, and that’s okay. I think it’s one of the things I like most about you. That, and the way you’re always so kind and joyful, even when you’re nervous.”
You felt you face flush, but this time it wasn’t just from embarrassment. It was from the realization that Paige—Paige Bueckers, the girl you had admired from afar—actually liked you. And not just as a friend.
“I… I’d like that,” you finally said, your voice barely above a whisper.
Paige’s face broke into a wide smile, and you couldn’t help but smile back, feeling a warmth spread through your chest.
“Great,” Paige said, her eyes shining with excitement. “How about tomorrow morning? We could go to that little café in town. I hear they have the best hot chocolate.”
“Okay,” YN agreed, her heart racing with a mix of nerves and anticipation.
The next morning, you found herself sitting across from Paige in a cozy café, the scent of hot chocolate, waffles, and freshly baked cookies filling the air. The place was dimly lit, with soft music playing in the background, and you couldn’t help but feel like you were in a dream.
Paige was her usual confident self, but there was a softness in her eyes as she looked at you. You talked about small things at first—school, basketball, the weather—but you could feel the unspoken tension between you both.
Paige reached across the table, gently taking your hand in hers. “You don’t have to be nervous, you know.”
“I’m not,” you lied, though the slight tremble in your voice gave you away.
Paige smiled, squeezing your hand. “I know you are, and that’s okay. I just want you to be yourself. I like you just the way you are.”
You looked down at your joined hands, feeling a rush of emotions you couldn’t quite put into words. You weren’t used to this kind of attention, you weren’t used to someone being so direct and open about their feelings.
“Why me?” You asked quietly, finally voicing the question that had been on your mind since the moment Paige asked you out.
Paige’s smile softened. “Because you’re different. You’re kind, and you don’t try to be someone you’re not. You’re not just some fan, or someone who’s only interested in me because of basketball. You see me for who I am, and I like that. I like you.”
You felt her heart swell with emotion. For the first time that evening, you felt herself relax, the tension in your shoulders easing as you looked into Paige’s eyes.
“I like you too,” you admitted, your voice just barely above a whisper.
Paige’s smile widened, and she leaned across the table, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. “Good. Because I’m not letting you go.”
You returned to college, but despite the distance, you and Paige kept in touch, texting and calling each other daily. Your connection deepened, and every visit felt like a reunion of old friends rather than a long-distance couple.
You navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship with surprising ease, both committed to making it work. Paige would surprise you with weekend visits, and you would do the same, your time together always filled with laughter, warmth, and those shy smiles that Paige adored.
You realized that no matter the distance, Paige was worth it. Every moment you spent together was special, and that what you had was something real, and lasting.

Title: Against the Odds
Summary: You and Paige’s relationship as it develops from mentor and student, to more
You had always been a fan of basketball, but it wasn’t until your junior year of high school that you realized you wanted to take the sport seriously. When you found out that Paige Bueckers, a player you looked up to, would be coaching at OTE (Overtime Elite) during your summer camp, you couldn’t believe her luck.
The first day of camp was a whirlwind of nerves and excitement. You couldn’t stop thinking about your chance to meet Paige, to learn from her, and maybe even make an impression. When Paige finally arrived on the court, the gym seemed to buzz with energy. She was exactly as you had imagined—confident, talented, and a presence that commanded respect.
Paige’s coaching style was intense but supportive. She pushed you and the other players to your guys limits, but she also took the time to offer advice and encouragement. By the end of camp, you had caught Paige’s attention. There was something about your determination and quiet confidence that stood out.
On the last day, after everyone else had left, Paige approached you. “ Hey! Yn! You’ve got something special,” she said with a smile. “If you keep working hard, I’ll put in a good word for you at UConn.”
You could barely contain your excitement. The idea of playing for UConn had always been a distant dream, but now, with Paige’s support, it felt like it could actually become a reality.
A year later, you found herself standing on the UConn campus, your heart racing as you took in the sight of the place you had once only dreamed of attending. You had worked hard, and with Paige’s recommendation, you had earned a spot on the team.
When you first saw Paige on campus, it felt surreal. You exchanged smiles and waves, but you were ultimately too nervous to approach her. After all you were only a freshman, and Paige was already a star.
But Paige didn’t let that distance last long. After a few weeks, she invited you to join her for a post-practice meal. Over burgers and fries, you talked of basketball, life at UConn, and everything in between. You were still in awe of Paige, but you had also began to see her as more than just a basketball star, you started to see her as a friend that was funny, kind, and easy to talk to.
Your friendship developed quickly. Paige took you under her wing, helping you navigate the challenges of being a student-athlete at one of the top programs in the country. You spent more and more time together, both on and off the court, and found yourself looking forward to every moment you shared with her.
As the weeks turned into months, your feelings for Paige began to shift. You admired her as a player, and friends but now, you started to notice other things—how Paige’s laugh could light up a room, the way she was always there to listen, and the warmth in her eyes when she would look at you.
At first, you tried to push those feelings aside, afraid of what would happen if you pursued them. After all Paige was your mentor, your friend. But the more time you spent with her, the harder it became to ignore the butterflies in your stomach whenever Paige was around.
One evening, after a particularly grueling practice, Paige suggested you two go for a walk. The campus was quiet, the air crisp with the hint of fall. As you walked, Paige started talking about the pressures she felt as a junior, and how much she cared about you and the team.
“I know this sounds weird,” Paige said, stopping to look at you, “but you’re one of the best things that’s happened to me here. You stand as a reminder of why I love this sport.”
You felt your heart skip a beat. “I feel the same way,” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
There was a moment of silence as you both stood there, the night settling around you. Then, before you could second-guess yourself, you leaned in and kissed Paige.
The kiss was soft, tentative, and when you pulled away, both of you were smiling.
Dating Paige was incredible. You felt like you were living in a dream—how had you gone from admiring Paige from afar to holding her hand as she walked you to class and practice?
But as much as you loved being with Paige, there were challenges too. Paige was incredibly focused on her career, and as a junior with the WNBA on the horizon, her time was limited. Sometimes, you felt as if you were competing with basketball for Paige’s attention.
Despite the challenges, your relationship continued to grow. You supported each other through the highs and lows, and you constantly found yourself falling deeper and deeper in love with Paige every day.
But there were also moments of tension. Paige could be jealous at times, especially when other students or teammates paid attention to you. It wasn’t anything serious, just small comments or a slight edge to her tone, but you noticed. Still, you just brushed it off, attributing it to Paige’s competitive nature. Not seeing it as anything too serious.
As Paige’s junior year came to an end, and your freshman year followed suit, the future loomed large over your guys relationship. Paige was being scouted by multiple WNBA teams, and there was talk of her leaving UConn early to go pro. You knew Paige wouldn’t dare leave a year early, but still you didn’t know what to think. After all you wanted Paige to succeed, but the thought of losing her was terrifying.
One night, after a particularly tough conversation about the future, Paige said something that left you reeling, and feeling like your world was caving in on itself.
“I’m not sure I can do this anymore,” Paige admitted, her voice heavy with exhaustion. “I love you, but I need to focus on my career, and I don’t know if I can give you what you need.”
You felt like the ground had been pulled out from under you. You obviously knew how much basketball meant to Paige, but you didn’t expect this. You both sat in silence for what felt like an eternity before Paige finally spoke again.
“I don’t want to lose you,” Paige said, her voice softer now. “But I also don’t want to hold you back. Maybe we need to take a step back, figure out what we both want.”
You nodded, even though it felt like your heart was breaking. You didn’t want to lose Paige, but you also didn’t want to be the reason Paige didn’t reach her full potential.
In the weeks that followed, you and Paige tried to find a new balance. You both took a step back from the relationship, and focused on your individual goals. It was hard, and there were days when you felt like giving up. But every time you saw Paige on the court, playing with the same passion and drive that had drawn you to her in the first place, you knew you were doing the right thing, if not for you for Paige.
Your relationship wasn’t over, but it had changed. You were still there for her and her for you, but you were learning how to be your self without depending entirely on Paige.
As Paige’s junior year ended and the summer began, you both knew things would never be the same. But you also knew that, no matter what, you would always have each other’s backs.
And that was enough.
