Just as lucky as he is to have such a great son. Ought to get to it, Kurt, he needs an entire Von Trapp family full of grandchildren otherwise the family band won’t have enough members. 

Hopefully! That’s good to hear, but I totally get it, I forgot just how slow this place can seem. There’s even more of a difference between here and New York, that’s for sure. 

I am still not over it.

He is lovely. And I’m aware of how lucky I am to have him, but goodness, he’s been talking non-stop about me getting married and I’m sure there were mentions of grandchildren, and I don’t even have a boyfriend. 

Well, I hope I’ll be seeing you around, then, as I’ll be staying around here for a while myself. I am doing good, thank you. A little bit restless, admittedly, since being in Lima is something I’ve grown out of since I moved to New York. There is a whole lot to compare to.

Aw, he’s so lovely and it’s so great to see supportive parents, it really gives me hope about these kinds of things. I have to say I’m with him on this, pride flags everywhere! 

I’ve been great, thank you, seem to be settling on the idea of spending a little of the summer in Lima, which I didn’t expect. How about you?

I am still not over it.

Oh, I do, too. And so is my dad, apparently. I love how he’s being so supportive about all of this, but I have to draw a line when he decides to put a Pride flag outside our house and his tire shop. It’s sweet, but he’s over-doing it.

It has certainly been an amazing thing to be apart of and I made some very obscure but gleeful noises when I heard the news. I’m sure it will be an interesting topic for future history students, no doubt astounded that marriage equality wasn’t legal in every state. Thank you, I plan on celebrating for a very long time. 

I am still not over it.

The fact that we live to see it happening right in front of our eyes is a huge thing itself. It is certainly a day that won’t be forgotten. You too, Wren.

I’m honestly over the moon about it, there were points where I wasn’t sure this was something we’d see in our lifetime. Such a happy occasion with a date to remember. Bless you, Kurt and have a wonderful day.

Yesterday, we got provided with the best news the world could have received– we were facing what I believe will become a historic moment to be talked about in centuries to come. It is now official– Marriage Equality has been legalized in all 50 states of America, and the fact that the world is still celebrating, and most likely will keep on doing that, astounds me enormously. Meanwhile, we had a little celebration of our own in the House of Hummel, in which my dad entered my room this morning with balloons and a huge cake that will take days to finish at this point.

I guess because this time he was willingly letting me draw and the other time, it was because he fell asleep. It only lasted about a day or two.

It was a really great party. I woke up with a lot of glitter and weird texts, which is always a great sign. Happy birthday and enjoy yourself, Olivia. 

Yesterday was probably one of the most amazing days that I’ve had in a long time. I’m positive that I’m still a little drunk today or a lot but I don’t really care. It’s just a sign that I had an awesome time. I couldn’t be more thankful to everyone for the party and I’m just extremely happy. If anyone wants to do anything today, I’m up for it. For now, I’m going to eat my weight in this cake and be extremely pleased with everything.
